This villa is a hidden gem in the Ardennes! We had a fantastic family gathering here. The heated outdoor pool was a hit with the kids, and the adults enjoyed relaxing in the sauna. The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful, perfect for walks and some fresh air. We will definitely come back!

19/8-22/8We have just spent an exceptional weekend in the magnificent villa of Olivier. We celebrated my parents" Golden Wedding in these places and the house completely charmed all the guests. Everything is designed to make you feel at home, the kitchen is very well equipped and thought out. Everyone appreciated the private bathrooms, the relaxation facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc.), the location, the calm and the serenity of the place In addition, the infrastructures being totally adapted to people with reduced mobility, my mother, who uses a wheelchair, was able to take full advantage of a room and a bathroom of excellent comfort. Last week we stayed with 18 men for a midweek in villa otium. The house is very large and spacious, the courtyard is very cozy to eat, swim and spend time together. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of equipment, so you don't have to bring anything with you. The house was therefore very nice in terms of spaces and facilities, but in terms of maintenance and hygiene there were many defects. It's nice that every room has its own bathroom, too bad that not one room was clean. In the last two bedrooms the mold smell came from the walls in the bathroom. In one room the hair dryer stuck to your hands from the dirt, in another there were 100 small spiders in the bath. Another room had very dirty stains in the cover. This was a big disappointment upon arrival, but after we went through everything with the vacuum cleaner and wiped a cloth over the counter, the fun could begin. Everyone was aware that it is a big house and not everything can be spick and span (although much was very unsanitary). We also had a lot of fun bubbling in the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the first day we noticed that a number of jets were not working. This eventually led to a short circuit, so we couldn't use the jaccuzi for one day. Olivier lives at the top of the house so he was quick to fix this so we could have bubbles on the last day. It is clear that the jacuzzi also needs to be replaced. Just like the loungers around the pool, someone has fallen through this 3x. Afterwards I receive an email that because the jacuzzi does not work for one day, we do not have to pay the costs for cleaning the bbq. This is complete nonsense, because at check-in he told us that all tenants have to clean the bbq themselves after use. Which we did! We wanted to leave an honest review about all this, as we had not had this based on previous reviews

We have 19 people this villa rented for a weekend and this is very liked. We were very kindly received by the owner. The owner also lives in an upstairs apartment, but after giving us a short tour he left us almost the whole weekend alone, you have absolutely no problems and he finds almost everything right. The house itself is fully equipped. You hardly have to take this into account, because everything has been thought of. The house looked even better than on the pictures! A must for every large group!

Particularly noteworthy are the spacious lounge with sauna and table tennis as well as the relaxing whirlpool – absolute highlights of our stay! A big plus for dog owners: dogs are warmly welcomed here, and our four-legged friends felt completely at home. The entire area is fenced, allowing them to move around freely and safely. A very nice, very well furnished Belvilla, with all the trimmings, with enough bedrooms with a shower and toilet in almost every bedroom, more than enough cooking pots, cutlery, plates, bags etc…, 2 dishwashers. The heating with logs is nice and cozy and a very cozy warmth now that the weather is getting a bit cooler. What our family has already used every evening is the outdoor jacuzzi, especially in the evening and the sauna, which is great for relaxing. We have already made use of other Belvilla but this one is the Max.Van here you can get out a lot and take walks.

Very well cared for house with enough entertainment and possibilities. We have been with a large group of friends. Enough rooms, modern equipment. Only the wifi signal was weak. It was really great! We thanks to the nice weather very much use of the pool and jacuzzi. With children without swimming certificate you have to be really vigilant at the pool. There is enough space inside or outside socializing eat. Even when the weather you can think here entertained the spacious layout. There is also ample opportunity for you to retire from the group, if you willen.Het forest next door was also very nice for the quest that we have set out. Wonderful stay at Villa Otium in March 2024. We were 18 adults and 3 dogs and everyone really enjoyed his stay. The house is very well equipped, very clean and each room has its own bathroom which was very appreciated. There is nothing that you can think of that was missing there. Last week we stayed with 18 men for a midweek in villa otium. The house is very large and spacious, the courtyard is very cozy to eat, swim and spend time together. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of equipment, so you don't have to bring anything with you. The house was therefore very nice in terms of spaces and facilities, but in terms of maintenance and hygiene there were many defects. It's nice that every room has its own bathroom, too bad that not one room was clean. In the last two bedrooms the mold smell came from the walls in the bathroom. In one room the hair dryer stuck to your hands from the dirt, in another there were 100 small spiders in the bath. Another room had very dirty stains in the cover. This was a big disappointment upon arrival, but after we went through everything with the vacuum cleaner and wiped a cloth over the counter, the fun could begin. Everyone was aware that it is a big house and not everything can be spick and span (although much was very unsanitary). We also had a lot of fun bubbling in the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the first day we noticed that a number of jets were not working. This eventually led to a short circuit, so we couldn't use the jaccuzi for one day. Olivier lives at the top of the house so he was quick to fix this so we could have bubbles on the last day. It is clear that the jacuzzi also needs to be replaced. Just like the loungers around the pool, someone has fallen through this 3x. Afterwards I receive an email that because the jacuzzi does not work for one day, we do not have to pay the costs for cleaning the bbq. This is complete nonsense, because at check-in he told us that all tenants have to clean the bbq themselves after use. Which we did! We wanted to leave an honest review about all this, as we had not had this based on previous reviews

We had a fantastic week in Villa Otium with 15 people, 2 dogs and a toddler of 2 years. Swimming pool enyacuzzu, but we also enjoyed the table tennis table very much. The rooms and the very large living room are very attractive. Furthermore, Olivier's care was fantastic. Barbecuing in the evening and sitting by the fire pit, too good to be true. Villa Otium is a complete holiday. Besides the luxury of a private pool, jacuzzi and sauna can be found here such an ice maker, grill stone, a fondue pot, toys for the pool and very nice BBQ area with picknicktafels.Wij have stayed here with 15 adults and 10 children, ranging in age of 1-7 years. It was really great! We thanks to the nice weather very much use of the pool and jacuzzi. With children without swimming certificate you have to be really vigilant at the pool. There is enough space inside or outside socializing eat. Even when the weather you can think here entertained the spacious layout. There is also ample opportunity for you to retire from the group, if you willen.Het forest next door was also very nice for the quest that we have set out. Everything is designed to make you feel at home, the kitchen is very well equipped and thought out. We are still enjoying it all together. A very nice, very well furnished Belvilla, with all the trimmings, with enough bedrooms with a shower and toilet in almost every bedroom, more than enough cooking pots, cutlery, plates, bags etc…, 2 dishwashers. The heating with logs is nice and cozy and a very cozy warmth now that the weather is getting a bit cooler. What our family has already used every evening is the outdoor jacuzzi, especially in the evening and the sauna, which is great for relaxing. We have already made use of other Belvilla but this one is the Max.Van here you can get out a lot and take walks.

We have 19 people this villa rented for a weekend and this is very liked. We were very kindly received by the owner. The owner also lives in an upstairs apartment, but after giving us a short tour he left us almost the whole weekend alone, you have absolutely no problems and he finds almost everything right. Super mooie villa schikt voor meerdere personen. Het ontbreekt werkelijk aan niets en zelfs als het weer niet mee zit, zit in deze villa helemaal gied en hoef je je voor geen moment te vervelen. Villa eigenaar is een hele relaxte kerel en snapt wat hij doet. Alleen de vuurkorf al op de vuurplaats is het bewijs daarvan! Relaxt zwembad en jacuzzi en villa in zeer rustige omgeving. Daarbij wordt villa goed onderhouden en was brandschoon. Echt een aanrader!

A mixed bunch of people who have a midweek spent together in a nice house in the Ardennes. All amenities were top notch, unfortunately it was in the period before us was a burglary which two doors did not shut properly. This still gave some stress. The pool was luckily still open even though it was the first week of October. Olivier is a perfect host, everything was negotiable. Very well cared for house with enough entertainment and possibilities. We have been with a large group of friends. Enough rooms, modern equipment. Only the wifi signal was weak. But that didn't matter. The owner came daily to clean the jacuzzi, very friendly. Also has a very nice dog who occasionally came to say hello. The pool unfortunately did not heat up that quickly. So we have not been in that much. There is not much to do or see in the neighborhood but day did not matter to us because we had more than enough to enjoy the house alone in a weekend. Everyone appreciated the private bathrooms, the relaxation facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc.), the location, the calm and the serenity of the place In addition, the infrastructures being totally adapted to people with reduced mobility, my mother, who uses a wheelchair, was able to take full advantage of a room and a bathroom of excellent comfort. I recommend it to everyone.

Everything was perfect .just that "it was cold on arrival .. small oversight of the owner but a pain with the elderly! Television for Francophone .... only 2 new positions very fair !!!

Highly recommended, we were family group of 22 people and are fully enjoyed, great rooms, all with bathroom, plenty of room! Very friendly owner, helpful and tidy, we will DEFINITELY be back

We are still enjoying it all together. A very nice, very well furnished Belvilla, with all the trimmings, with enough bedrooms with a shower and toilet in almost every bedroom, more than enough cooking pots, cutlery, plates, bags etc…, 2 dishwashers. The heating with logs is nice and cozy and a very cozy warmth now that the weather is getting a bit cooler. What our family has already used every evening is the outdoor jacuzzi, especially in the evening and the sauna, which is great for relaxing. We have already made use of other Belvilla but this one is the Max.Van here you can get out a lot and take walks.

We had a fantastic weekend at Villa Otium (14 adults and 3 children). - Very well equipped property. All that is necessary is present and in perfect state- Wonderful location- Very friendly welcome by owner- Beautiful, spacious, and adequately equipped rooms, with good bed- Very large kitchen, dining and coffee tables Jacuzzi, sauna, showers in perfect price / quality this is a prime location, and have actually experienced nothing negative during the whole weekend. An absolute must so.

Quiet location, beautiful house that verblijvendin of all amenities. Everything is there, from towels to cutlery, nothing needs to be included. Of course food, but supermarkets are nearby. With 22 family members we have a wonderful weekend. Swimming pool is big enough and water is clean. Sunbeds around are a luxury.

Welcomed by the very nice Olivier. The accommodation was amazing, spacious and nice and cozy. The kitchen was equipped with all the comforts, certainly for a large family like we were with 17 people. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a great success! Nice, peaceful surroundings, lots of possibilities for cycling, but sometimes quite hills and valleys! A beautiful house to stay with multiple families!
