Holiday apartments and houses in Dochamps

The Villa itself has the potential of a luxury villa, but due to the overdue maintenance, it resembles more of a luxury youth hostel. Most of the furniture has been replaced by cheap Ikea furniture and the colorful rooms have been replaced by simple white latex, which has removed the flair of luxury design. Since the photos on the website have not been updated, it is immediately a disappointing entrance. Walls, doors, and furniture are damaged everywhere and not repaired or only temporarily fixed. - The front door only closes properly if you lock it; otherwise, it opens with a light push and the dogs run into the street.
- The walls in the bathroom and bedrooms have holes everywhere because, among other things, towel holders have been replaced with smaller ones and the holes from the old screws have not been filled.
- Heating/air conditioning in the bedrooms of the main house does not work, so there are only electric heaters. - The upholstery of the dining table chairs is torn on several chairs and repaired with black tape.
- The drawer of the kitchen cabinet with the trash bins is damaged and no longer closes.
- The shower curtain rod is almost falling off the wall.
- The exterior door of a bedroom in the annex does not close properly, leaving an opening of more than 1 cm where an unpleasant draft comes in. I could write much more, but the most disappointing thing was the penetrating musty smell of damp (mold) that is present throughout the building, especially in the bedrooms, and does not go away. In the bedroom on the 1st floor of the main building, after showering (although we have always ventilated), moisture ran down the walls. Everything is there for a nice stay, we had a lot of fun and also enjoyed ourselves, but still got the impression that one is profiting from past glory. The overdue maintenance is a reason for us not to come back here.

The room had everything that was needed - also a good size! The shower worked fine and the kitchen had all the basic necessities for preparing simple meals during our short stay.
