Friendly reception. Spacious and practically furnished home. The ground floor and first floor remained quite cool during the heatwave (thankfully, as opening windows is not ideal because there are no fly screens). Less practical for staying with a dog, the accommodation is a duplex, the garden is not fenced and is next to the other house. There are also food scraps in the garden for street cats, but unfortunately, the dog managed to find those too...

Staying in Freyneux was a treat for my family. We arrived in a warm space and enjoyed cooking meals together in the kitchen. The nearby parks kept our children busy while we relaxed by the fireplace after exploring. All in all, it felt like a home away from home during our stay.

The property itself is spacious and ideal for large families. It offers reliable internet access and a beautifully maintained garden—perfect for enjoying a quiet cup of tea or hosting a barbecue. One of the charming features of the area is the church bell, which rings every hour and half-hour. Far from being disruptive, it adds to the serene ambiance and quickly became a beloved part of our experience. They were not in there. There was a sweet dog who stole the heart of our grandson Joe 2 ½. You are also quick Laroche. We didn't always have hot water, the water was rather lukewarm which is not pleasant in winter. We could not light the fireplace, there was vapor and smell in the living room. In one of the bedrooms there was a musty smell (damp).
