Quick getaway turned into a great stay, plenty of space, nice kitchen, and wonderful walks nearby. It checked all our boxes!

Besser als im letzten Jahr in Bezug auf Schlafqualität,die Matratzen waren bequem und ergonomisch gestaltet. Die Mornings waren angenehm mit allem ganz praktisch angeordnet. Das Blubbad kam als schönes Extra nach langen Wanderungen durch den Wald dazu.

What was missing was a balcony. Just stairs with a dog weighing 18 kg that wasn't allowed to walk up stairs yet. I asked at the reception if there was a possibility for another apartment. The pool doesn't work with temperatures above 25 degrees. The lighting was so poor that I almost fell down the stairs with my dog because it was pitch dark. So all in all, a particularly bad experience and not worth repeating!

The apartment was nicely renovated, very spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen was also equipped with everything we needed. The pool was unfortunately closed, but we knew that in advance. Gas and electricity were not included in the price, so the final amount was a lot higher (+ €70 for the weekend). This was also because the apartment was quite cold and we had to heat a lot.

First of all, the rooms weren't clean! What a cleaning fee of 90 euros is calculated for is a mystery to me. Second, the swimming pool was under repair during our stay and we were not told beforehand, but you still got the full price! Third was the bathtub and the accompanying one Function defective! Overall a disappointment for the children and adults. Fourth, there is no WiFi in the apartment!

The house is solid, but I missed good frying pans; what was in this little house almost fell apart. We had to check the electricity ourselves for the consumption of the previous residents, and it was not neatly and correctly taken over. Furthermore, I didn't find it very clean; there was some dust on the fake plants and the TV cabinet. The bathroom was acceptable. What I also find disappointing is that the bathroom, especially the toilet, could use a new seat; the one on it is really old. The pool is okay. The surroundings are beautiful, really so lovely. Dinant is about an hour and a half drive away and is definitely worth a visit. We certainly enjoyed this adventure. I had a completely different misconception about Belgium; I will definitely come back.

We rented an apartment for 8 people. The apartment is very quiet and well located within walking distance of Barvaux and Durbuy. We were very warmly welcomed at the reception! The spacious living room was perfect for our family gatherings, and we loved the cozy gas fireplace, The kitchen was well-equipped, and having a dishwasher made our meals so much easier, The location is fantastic, with beautiful nature trails nearby, especially the Parc des Topiaires, which is just a short drive away, The hot tub was an added bonus after a long day of exploring, Highly recommend this place for families!
