The surroundings were beautiful. The house was very spacious and reasonably clean, some rooms a little over their height, sometimes damp rooms. Very friendly and attentive cleaner.

However, the organization reassured us that it has recently been renovated.



They were right, the stay was very good. The final bill has yet to come, so no idea how strict they are on whether or not to return the deposit.



Rooms were top notch, with private modern shower. A large living room with a matching bar.

Everyone who came in immediately said "this is much better than in the pictures".



To give a negative: the neighbor across the street came to ask on Friday evening to keep it quiet, at 9 p.m. A fair question, which we also took into account for the rest of the evening / night. Saturday afternoon he was there again (+/- at 4 pm) with the request to make it a bit quieter. It is a pity that he is not more flexible after he had not experienced any problems the evening / night before.



However, Belvilla/Ardennes Online has nothing to do with this, so thumbs up for the organization!

The property is well-equipped and can comfortably accommodate a large group. We loved the modern kitchen with its induction cooktops and the convenience of a washing machine and dryer. The location near the nature reserve is fantastic for outdoor sports enthusiasts.

We had a great time exploring the hiking trails nearby. After a long day, the relaxation area with the hammam and the whirlpool was just what we needed. The kids loved the bunk beds and had plenty of space to play.

This holiday home is a whole experience! Totally renovated and super spacious for a group of 18 people. The sauna and the hot tub are essential for relaxing moments after hiking. Also, there are nature trails right at the door? Great bonus points. Close to the center of Marche-en-Famenne for dining outings is also a plus. 10/10 recommend!

The house is very well located: in a nature area and yet within walking distance of Marche. The ground floor is comfortable and cozy, better than in the photos, the kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are small and the showers are in the room. The back wall was damp in the winter.

After a lot of back and forth e-mails due to cancellations and corona, our friends weekend could finally continue. We had decided in advance, not too much fuss. It's about being together with friends. But oh dear, what a mistake we made with this holiday home. First we requested 2 cots and 2 high chairs. These were only brought, hold on, at the 22nd in the evening… downright scandalous It was also downright filthy. Every shower had mould. Even in the relaxation area in the annex, mold and dirty smears on the cushions of the seat. If the house is so poorly maintained, what about this sauna/hot tub? Really gross! Nobody wanted in! The walls of the toilet were splashed. You can make a drawing yourself… Several bedrooms smelled of petrol/oil, making it impossible to sleep there. Sometimes we had to sleep with 4 to 6 people (with babies!!! ) together in 1 room. There was also a lot of material too short in the house. Such as wine openers or even glasses, we didn't have enough for everyone….But at the end a very strict list with all things that had to be cleaned / cleared away with the 'necessary' costs associated with it if not in order. Even though we had paid for cleaning service afterwards. I wonder what these people do clean… Money is very easily earned here… If you want to get rich: buy a dilapidated house in the Ardennes and ask for a lot of money for it. You don't have work for it.

Rooms are certainly ok, but accommodation needs updating, to improve further: lots of lamps in the living room piece, it is anyway dark place where the fireplace causes drafts, there are many nice things in the salon, all without batteries in the remote controls, bubble bath is not jaccuzi and leaks, a few mugs to drink coffee would be nice ... I see huge potential but will have to invest a minimum ...

We have to clean this ourselves to sleep with a restful feeling. What's nice is that the different rooms are well lockable so you get a lot of privacy. There is also a large terrace with a nice big table, no shade. With little children we needed it and because there was a parasol foot and there was also a parasol on one of the pictures, we went to search for it in vain. When I called over I was told to be unfriendly and said The lady in question that we did not need umbrella because we were in the woods. To find out that there was a foot ready and did not understand this, she just had to laugh. A little strange ..

Beautiful surroundings and a lovely house. There is quite a lot of traffic passing by until midnight for being in a nature area. Suuuuper comfortable beds, beautifully and qualitatively made. We only find it very unfortunate that the dishwasher did not work for such a large group. We would also have preferred to be able to lock the doors, no key provided. The wellness area is amazing.

At our first breakfast it turned out that there were still egg remnants hanging on the pan, thanks to the previous tenants. When one opened the cupboard doors in the kitchen, a smell of oil came out. The kitchen also does not have all the necessary equipment to eat there with a group of 16 adults and two children. Too little cutlery, only 3 (THREE) champagne glasses (while sitting there during the Christmas period), no cutting boards and a dishwasher that can only run on one program (a program of 3.5 hours) In the toilet on the ground floor the paint was peeling and moldy on the walls. The salon, however, is elegantly furnished with a cozy fireplace. You may not light the hood in the kitchen or you will pull all the smoke from the fireplace back in. On the upper floor a bit of the same story. Some rooms were fine with a remodeled shower. In other rooms there was mould, part of the ceiling was hanging loose and two door cupboards were damaged. A hole had been punched in one of the doors. Also here in some rooms dust nets and a lot of dirt under the beds. The SPA area was good. A nice and good jacuzzi, an infrared sauna and a steam bath. A cold floor so a pair of sandals is welcome. Only here again mold can be found on the pillows of the bed that is there. Photos have been taken of everything. In short. The cottage where we stayed really has a lot of potential but urgently needs to be maintained, painted and treated against moisture. To be honest, we paid too much for the rent during this period for the condition the cottage was in.
