Second time we stayed here and what a lovely week we had! The cottage is in the perfect location with endless walking opportunities nearby. We and our dog enjoyed it immensely. It was very difficult to return home.

This characterful little house is a real oasis of peace, nicely high on the hills. The only sound you hear is birds, no traffic, and that is definitely a plus. It is quite secluded and is located in a very beautiful area! Heating also went very well with a pellet stove, and the necessary items were also present. However, I found it much too expensive for what you got. Unfortunately, nothing seems to resemble the photos that are online! It would have been worth its price if: 1. The view would not be completely gone due to the lack of maintenance of the surrounding trees. We were really looking forward to that view, but unfortunately. It has really become overgrown. 2. If you made a few adjustments in the 2 rather small bedrooms. Like for example: putting in a different main bed (preferably a box spring) that doesn't creak with every breath. (Unfortunately, I am not exaggerating) I think the bed has seen its best days, it was also not comfortable at all. If you could ensure that the floor creaks a little less because when you need to go to the bathroom at night, the whole house wakes up. 3. Adjust the water pressure/force (if possible) because with long hair, it's a total disaster to rinse it out. 4. There are no kitchen towels available, making it impossible to quickly wipe something unless you buy/bring a towel yourself. However, there is a dishwasher available. 5. The garden furniture is uncomfortable, and this could easily be resolved by buying another set as well as the loungers, because these were completely rotten and sagging. The BBQ is also poorly maintained. However, there is a travel model available, but it is very small. Charcoal was available. 6. Very friendly owner showed us the house on arrival. The cottage is not too big but perfect for 4 people and 2 dogs. The garden is completely fenced which is very nice with 2 beagles. If you do not like nature or being outside or looking for entertainment, then this house is not recommended. This is really something for nature lovers. The cottage is not that big so not suitable for more than 4 people and not suitable for couples, families or groups of friends. The garden is suitable for a family with 2 young children, but for children there is little distraction or entertainment on site. The cottage is more suitable for adults with or without pets who want to walk and enjoy peace and the surrounding beautiful nature.
