The day before we were even called by the owner who gave us a different route because there were road works. Very pleasant people! Cozy cottage with stove. Many walks in the area, small village but cozy with many bakers and top butcher and a spruce! Bouillon also not far 15 minutes by car.

Cottage is small, authentic and fully equipped.M.i. It should be mentioned that there are many thresholds and stairs without a complete railing, which can be an obstacle for some people. We hebv and chosen after long discussions before this house and are very happy went home. The cottage on arrival was nicely decorated and illuminated in Christmas spirit no shortage so. We also immediately got a bottle of delicious homemade apple juice to fill our refrigerator. The cottage is very nicely decorated and we were pleasantly surprised at the two bathrooms are available. This makes the morning and evening ritual gone very smoothly. Location wise, it is situated between the woods and between different forests. In the cottage Walking maps are also available and an overview of the trails are closed due when located in hunting area. We have also done a daguutstapje to Bouillon for a lovely town visit

We have had a wonderful relaxing holiday in Paliseul. The area is gorgeous! There is much to do. The people were very friendly! Our two daughters could play outside on the swings and in the playhouse that stood in the garden. Overall a nice cozy cottage with masses to do. Suitable for all ages.

Regarding the cottage we can be brief, it has everything you need, complete kitchen, good beds and good heating (CV and a wood stove!) We were in October so the heater came in handy. The owners are very friendly people you will receive welcoming and helpful. There is a nice little garden where you can sit and enjoy during the summer BBQ. Cottage stands in Paliseul a stone's throw from a wonderful bakery, a very good (and cheap) enough butcher and restaurants (La Casa would like to specially mention because of the hospitality and the excellent service and service). Paliseul itself is centrally located if you are interested in fun walks and cultural outings in the area. If we go again to this area on vacation, we will definitely see if this house is available!

We were warmly welcomed by the owners of the house. The house is smaller than it happens in the picture 's. That was disappointing. Also you could not walk in the garden from the house. The living room has a large level difference of two steps and that's for the elderly very clumsy. Also, there is no toilet on the ground floor. Few of storage space in the rooms and bathrooms. The beds are excellent and the bedrooms are not too small. Definitely a nice shower. Once again the owners are very warm and make it easy to chat. For older people who have difficulty walking, the house and the surroundings are not suitable.

Petit Paliseul is not very big, but everything you need is there. The tableware and kitchenware is about complete, there is a bath and two toilets. However, both on the first floor. The owners of our cottage are very friendly and hospitable people who speak Flemish and French excellent . An excellent address, but the overpass connections kitchen / living room and bedroom / shower not recommended for people who have trouble walking or vision impairment.

Paliseul, a previously unknown village, it was recommended to us by friends. Via Belvilla we came to the house Petit Paliseul what appealed to us in terms of layout and accessories, especially after reading some highly positive comments and yes ... amazing. Very sympathetic owners with the heart in the right place who were always there for us with a smile, even when we arrived late by 45 minutes due to problems on the track. We actually wanted to book a cottage in a spa to walk there, but since there was nothing more available that our dogs were welcomed we arrived in paliseul from there to spa driven, so we have not seen much of the area. We are very grateful to the owners and ardennes relais that the booking was last-minute, it was a top weekend. The cottage was clean, cozy and carpet central heating everywhere provide extra comfort. We stayed four nights at this property. The house is equipped with every comfort. 2 large bedrooms with very good beds. The 2 bathrooms were a luxury. In the kitchen everything is certainly well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, ... we were not short. A closet full of games was also provided, so in bad weather, you know what to do. The house is equipped for 6 people, but we find the living room there a bit too small for that. We stayed there with two adults and two children and we had plenty of room. Upstairs there is certainly plenty of room (one room with double bed and one room with double bed and two single beds) The host family (Mimi and Phillipe) are very warm and friendly people. From the first seconds, we felt at home with them. They gave us a clear explanation of the home and also gave great tips on hikes, restaurants, tours and much meer.Tijdens our stay we made many beautiful walks and made a trip Bouillon (wildlife park and castle), the Han Caves. We noticed that in this region is still very much to do, so we will definitely come back.

Friendly Dutch-speaking owners. Lovely beds. Two bathrooms was fine. Enough bed linen provided. Kitchen was all well represented. Fine crockery, cutlery and pans. There were plenty of sun loungers for soaking the spot just next to the house in the sun. In the real garden behind the house you could sit down to eat. We found the room cozy. It was nice that there was good wifi. And also plenty of channels on the TV, in bad weather with children that is fine. There is a few min. Driving a large Spar supermarket. We stayed four nights at this property. The house is equipped with every comfort. 2 large bedrooms with very good beds. The 2 bathrooms were a luxury. In the kitchen everything is certainly well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, ... we were not short. A closet full of games was also provided, so in bad weather, you know what to do. The house is equipped for 6 people, but we find the living room there a bit too small for that. We stayed there with two adults and two children and we had plenty of room. Upstairs there is certainly plenty of room (one room with double bed and one room with double bed and two single beds) The host family (Mimi and Phillipe) are very warm and friendly people. From the first seconds, we felt at home with them. They gave us a clear explanation of the home and also gave great tips on hikes, restaurants, tours and much meer.Tijdens our stay we made many beautiful walks and made a trip Bouillon (wildlife park and castle), the Han Caves. We noticed that in this region is still very much to do, so we will definitely come back.

On arrival we were welcomed by Philippe and Mimi. After a tour in and around the house we got homemade apple juice. Everything you needed was plentiful. We had a wonderful holiday, and again next year. H Raven, Wormer.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners, after that everything was explained in the house. We were with two nineties so nice space but you are with 6 pers the living room is very small and with very hot weather on the 2nd floor a lot Too bad. There is no toilet downstairs. There is everything on the street. The street is quite noisy, but the area for walking is beautiful. Walking cards and leaflets are all ready. !!

We were with z 'n celebrate parents (80 and 78) and son with girlfriend (40-ers) in this scenically beautiful part of the southern Ardennes. The owners of our cottage are very friendly and hospitable people who speak Flemish and French excellent . An excellent address, but the overpass connections kitchen / living room and bedroom / shower not recommended for people who have trouble walking or vision impairment.

A top stay ... 10/10. Everything is present in a beautiful cottage. Very pleasant people, willingly ready for you. Supermarket, bakery, bone-keeper, pharmacists, walking distance in town. Beautiful walks from the village and the nearby villages.

The surroundings are beautifully beautiful and there is also a beautiful forest nearby. The house is nice and Philippe and Mimi are fantastic nice and helpful. The living room is on the small side but only 4 people can do well.

A very pleasant reception from Philip and Mimi, very nice people .Beautiful tour in the garden between the chickens and horses.Wil you on vacation with your dog or dogs is definitely recommended, beautiful surroundings for beautiful walks and there after to unwind in the cottage with a wood stove, all amenities are present all shops within walking distance of the cottage. We will definitely go back

It is the 2nd time we are on holiday in Paliseul and this year it was fantastic again like last year but this year we have come for 2 weeks.Reception was warm again as well as the stay in this beautiful village with its natural surroundings as well for shopping, eating, walking etc. With pain in the heart we had to leave but come back with pleasure next year.

The house owners speak Dutch well and we are received very friendly! the house has everything you need. a great garden with good fence (my little chihuahua we could escape)) any point that you are with 6 people is the living room rather small. Furthermore, a must!

Petit Paliseul is not very big, but everything you need is there. The tableware and kitchenware is about complete, there is a bath and two toilets. However, both on the first floor. The garden is very nice for children. The road to the garden goes a bit along the way. Young children can therefore only be guided to the garden. BBQ available, double swings, luxury chairs. Warmly welcomed by the Dutch-speaking owners. Nice people and genuinely interested. Definitely recommended!

Our plan was on his way to France, first just to unwind in the Belgian Ardennes. Paliseul appeared before the ideal place. The welcoming reception immediately brought the relaxation we were looking for and the setting is marvelous. Actually we had there best to stay a little longer. A good reason to come back again.

We had a very positive experience. Everything started with a very warm welcome and tour. Tips were given so that we could start the weekend nicely. All necessities can be found within walking distance (shop, bakery, butcher, ..). Also in terms of facilities we had nothing too short. Our larger dogs were welcome and could always enjoy in a fenced garden.

We were warmly welcomed with a tour and information about the area. Received a bottle of fresh apple juice on arrival. The day before we were even called by the owner who gave us a different route because there were road works. Very pleasant people! Cozy cottage with stove. Many walks in the area, small village but cozy with many bakers and top butcher and a spruce! Bouillon also not far 15 minutes by car.

What a lovely house and what lovely people who rent it out. Everything is there in the house good beds. Beautiful surroundings with many walking routes. The antiquity and atmosphere are delightful. Despite the many rain showers and the alertness of the corona crisis, we had a great holiday.

We have had a wonderful relaxing holiday in Paliseul. The area is gorgeous! There is much to do. The people were very friendly! Our two daughters could play outside on the swings and in the playhouse that stood in the garden. Overall a nice cozy cottage with masses to do. Suitable for all ages.

Cottage is small, authentic and fully equipped.M.i. It should be mentioned that there are many thresholds and stairs without a complete railing, which can be an obstacle for some people. Owners are very helpful friendly people. The small terrace on the street side can be busy due to traffic . In contrast, the side / backyard is quiet, very large with a beautiful view.

Very sympathetic owners with the heart in the right place who were always there for us with a smile, even when we arrived late by 45 minutes due to problems on the track. We actually wanted to book a cottage in a spa to walk there, but since there was nothing more available that our dogs were welcomed we arrived in paliseul from there to spa driven, so we have not seen much of the area. We are very grateful to the owners and ardennes relais that the booking was last-minute, it was a top weekend. The cottage was clean, cozy and carpet central heating everywhere provide extra comfort. Excellent reception by welcoming owners, fine bakery and butcher within walking distance to the heart of a region with plenty of opportunities for walks and other outings. Prima equipped kitchen, central heating degree lower can cause wood stove with plenty of wood, good beds. Overall excellent value for money.
