There is enough space for our own cars, nice view, garden for dogs, be careful not to leave the gate open. Everything is good so far, would book it again.

It was a short search for the apartment because the route planner was not quite right with the given address. In the guestbook there was another address that the route planner could handle. Furthermore, the key was neatly placed on the place as agreed and the apartment was cleaned up, clean and the stove was burning softly. Upon arriving we found a nice surprise in the kitchen, provided by the hostess. The beds were made up and everything was clean. The rooms in the house were well-organized. From other reviews, we knew that the house was a joke, but that was not a problem. We visited a number of towns (half an hour) and in Neuchateau itself the lake with playground was a nice afternoon.

The holiday home was beautifully decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. Each room was comfortable, and we felt at home. The location was somewhat remote, but that only added to the charm – perfect for relaxing!

The house has many games options: pool, table tennis, table football. Well enclosed garden, but a rickety fence. The heater was on and the beds were made. The key was at the agreed location, no manager was seen, contact via email which went well. A few Dutch channels on TV. But: many (about 50, I think) fly into the house, according to the owner, because of the countryside and autumn. No mosquito screens. Very noisy house, if you talk upstairs you can almost hear it downstairs. House is not mouse-free, which kept our dogs alert. Curtain for the upstairs bathroom window that you can look right through. You can reach the 3rd bedroom through the 2nd bedroom. The dishwasher works poorly. In the meadows around the house many bulls and howling foxes. Enough space to sit in the room and the kitchen with a large table with chairs.

It is a nice farm, but with overdue maintenance. such as the passage to the other piece of garden has grown closed (no way through) from the dining room is a door to a small garden, we could not sit there because it did not look good. The picnic table was broken. we are jeu de boule enthusiasts but that jeu de boule track was not there (it was described that it was there) we did not have small children, fortunately because the climbing toy that was there is life-threatening (slide loose, screws sticking out, holes in the seats of the swings ect ect) outdoor kitchen was a fallen dirty broken barbeque. Inside, the locks in the doors must be fixed, I was locked up. and it should also be mentioned that there are 2 bedrooms together with a door, so no privacy at all. And in the bedroom of 4 people, the 2 separate beds may have 2 new mattresses, which are not suitable for an adult to lie on,

The microwave did not get warm, so we had nothing to do with it. broken toilet roll holders in the toilets ect ect

And on arrival there is no one then you have to call that you are there and lie there and key under flower pot

Ditto on departure a message that we will leave at 10:00 am and that contact with the owner is a bit strange and then there is an empty basket with welcome inside. it's not about the content, but the contact with the owner. I can provide photos of the defects if you wish.

Hello, we were unlucky with the weather alas. But the house saved us to occupy the three children. The two playrooms are great. We were 7 and there was space for all. Thank you for this bucolic change of scenery.

we enjoyed the surroundings and each other, the accommodation was disappointing, the hot water supply was not in order, we regularly had to take a cold shower, we also had to reset the heating every now and then, the house is very noisy. So far we are very satisfied with the accommodation. Beautiful location with miles of views. The house has been neatly delivered. Clean and tidy! There is plenty to do in and around the house. you can enjoy sports here and walk in the area. The dogs can also roam freely around the house. The garden is well fenced so that the dogs stay on the property. All in all a nice location which invites you to come back in the future !!

Very good communication before arrival with the person in charge, and we did find the keys on arrival :) For the rest...several small details surprised/disappointed us upon arrival compared to what we thought to find by seeing the photos: There is a courtyard next to the house where the barn is, where there is the possibility of parking the car, which is nice since the house is between 2 roads (which we noise level, and certainly not at night). The gate should be redone, it is rickety and therefore difficult to open/close, but hey...it's only a detail. Be careful that on the other side of the house, there is a light palisade to close the other small "courtyard" (where there is a white plastic garden table and 4 matching chairs), but that in high winds, that -it falls, because it is not fixed.. ;) Return to the courtyard on the barn side: this is the courtyard where we see a module with slide and swing. When we arrived, when we passed the old gate, we found a rectangle of grass with this module. I think the petanque court was there before, but when we came, just grass (it didn't bother us, even if we had taken our boules with it, I'm just saying this for information). But here, the module was in the hedge all the way to the top, it was so high compared to the photo, difficult for our children to play in it, not to mention the dog poops in the grass ;) So we have never been to this side of the house. And what is shown in the photo as a "garden" resembling an orchard, is actually behind a fence, and cows are resting there ;) On the other side of the house, where there is a small shaded courtyard, there is a small orchard in a triangle, which you can access via an old low wall, avoiding the trees, not necessarily obvious or planned, there is a garden in front of the kitchen window, almost closed on the barn side by the hedge which has grown so much

This residence is a converted farm, and therefore also exudes agricultural charm. So don't expect a perfect apartment-like stay, but a rustic house with lots of space. The facilities are largely in order. WiFi, TV, kitchen, and washing machines work perfectly. What bothered me is that the tennis table was unusable (net could not be tensioned), and the billiards is really worn out. The slatted base of 1 of the beds is also completely broken (a bed that we did not use, but you can't even sit on it for a while). We got apple juice as a welcome gift and it was really very tasty. The location is extremely quiet, but also a bit far from all facilities, you have to go to the center of Neufchateau for shopping. All in all, a reasonable holiday home, and an excellent base for walks in the area.

The house is superficial, but not in detail. Light buttons, for example, are dirty. The water jets are very weak, so that showering and use of the sink cannot be efficient. The crockery is not great either, everything is different. The dogs can escape, as the gate does not remain closed and small dogs can escape under the other gate at the back door. We are not going to use this holiday home again in the future. It was nice that the fireplace was burning and there was a bottle of tasty apple juice as a welcome.The environment is beautiful.

Nice authentic house, with modern amenities. Just like all houses here, it is clearly visible that it is an older house.
Beautiful location, the house is visible from miles away.

Quiet location, some overdue maintenance but certainly not a nuisance.
It is noisy due to the wooden floors, but if you take that into account, no problem at all.

The furnishings and kitchen are good with sufficient pots/pans, etc.
Central heating a big 10 and unlimited wood for both stoves.

Super cool house lots of space and everything you need is there. Beds sleep perfectly! Unfortunately had bad weather for 2 weeks but plenty to do in the house and in the area. Had a nice holiday nice owner. Despite the weather we had a wonderful time here!

A house located in a quiet area as described. The key was in the designated place and we could enter immediately! A very clean house with all necessary amenities. For the children (11y and 13y) a blissful play area where they could go to their hearts content! The garden is completely and well fenced so our dogs could walk around in the garden while we were inside!

Very good communication before arrival with the person in charge, and we did find the keys on arrival :) For the rest...several small details surprised/disappointed us upon arrival compared to what we thought to find by seeing the photos: There is a courtyard next to the house where the barn is, where there is the possibility of parking the car, which is nice since the house is between 2 roads (which we noise level, and certainly not at night). The gate should be redone, it is rickety and therefore difficult to open/close, but hey...it's only a detail. Be careful that on the other side of the house, there is a light palisade to close the other small "courtyard" (where there is a white plastic garden table and 4 matching chairs), but that in high winds, that -it falls, because it is not fixed.. ;) Return to the courtyard on the barn side: this is the courtyard where we see a module with slide and swing. When we arrived, when we passed the old gate, we found a rectangle of grass with this module. I think the petanque court was there before, but when we came, just grass (it didn't bother us, even if we had taken our boules with it, I'm just saying this for information). But here, the module was in the hedge all the way to the top, it was so high compared to the photo, difficult for our children to play in it, not to mention the dog poops in the grass ;) So we have never been to this side of the house. And what is shown in the photo as a "garden" resembling an orchard, is actually behind a fence, and cows are resting there ;) On the other side of the house, where there is a small shaded courtyard, there is a small orchard in a triangle, which you can access via an old low wall, avoiding the trees, not necessarily obvious or planned, there is a garden in front of the kitchen window, almost closed on the barn side by the hedge which has grown so much

The house is spacious with lots of sports facilities in the house. Cozy and comfortable. There is plenty to do for nature lovers, families with children and sports enthusiasts in the area. Sufficient Bouillon and Dinant were very nice!

It was a very pleasant stay in a spacious yet cozy home. We got us can indulge in sports and entertainment. The bad weather was so very welcome outlet. A must for anyone who wants peace and privacy in a beautiful setting. Also recommended is a visit to the observatory in the nearby Grapfontaine (temporarily under construction). We had a great holiday in this house a real aanrader.Vriendelijke owner and a great welcome the fireplace was lit (cozy) and we got a bottle of apple juice apples from the orchard and there was a bunch of flowers inside as we have never received a holiday really leuk.Voor children the gym and playroom great this house is highly recommended for families with children they will not vervelen.Kortom this house we can highly recommend for a great holiday can not be otherwise say.

We arrived in a large extremely clean house with all facilities. However, on arrival and during our holiday we have not seen any owner. A bit odd, but we also had no comment. Only a pity that the dishwasher was broken, but we got a discount on our stay.

We had a wonderful holiday in this holiday. A friendly hostess, a cozy house. Especially the sitting room was very cozy, with lovely sofas! Because it was "evening sometimes chilly, we could create the fire and we enjoyed very much. The playroom was a welcome playground. The garden is well enclosed so your kids with confidence out late playing. The view from the house is so grand and beautiful, well that was a delight. Truly a place to unwind. Within a radius of 50 kilometers to see than you can see / visits. Minuses in two weeks more we found a teapot and tea strainer , and also lacking a household sieve. There were three chairs out front and a picnic table, but ordinary garden chairs were missing. And for a few cobwebs you should not be afraid of as "one old house. Furthermore, highly recommended for this price!

A wonderful holiday had with two weeks of beautiful weather. Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Visited the abbey, Bouillon, Neufchateau, the children canoe trips, swimming, wildlife park etc.We were visited for the second time in this house again and liked it. House was fully equipped, cozy and warmly decorated. Beds were great! Game Attic was superb, with stoves well heated. Environment was us against, not much to do. Was not a problem for us, we wanted a nice week "quality time" with the family "and welcoming old and new celebrate .. That's fine succeeded! Owner is very friendly and helpful. The house has many games options: pool, table tennis, table football. Well enclosed garden, but a rickety fence. The heater was on and the beds were made. The key was at the agreed location, no manager was seen, contact via email which went well. A few Dutch channels on TV. But: many (about 50, I think) fly into the house, according to the owner, because of the countryside and autumn. No mosquito screens. Very noisy house, if you talk upstairs you can almost hear it downstairs. House is not mouse-free, which kept our dogs alert. Curtain for the upstairs bathroom window that you can look right through. You can reach the 3rd bedroom through the 2nd bedroom. The dishwasher works poorly. In the meadows around the house many bulls and howling foxes. Enough space to sit in the room and the kitchen with a large table with chairs.

It is a nice farm, but with overdue maintenance. such as the passage to the other piece of garden has grown closed (no way through) from the dining room is a door to a small garden, we could not sit there because it did not look good. The picnic table was broken. we are jeu de boule enthusiasts but that jeu de boule track was not there (it was described that it was there) we did not have small children, fortunately because the climbing toy that was there is life-threatening (slide loose, screws sticking out, holes in the seats of the swings ect ect) outdoor kitchen was a fallen dirty broken barbeque. Inside, the locks in the doors must be fixed, I was locked up. and it should also be mentioned that there are 2 bedrooms together with a door, so no privacy at all. And in the bedroom of 4 people, the 2 separate beds may have 2 new mattresses, which are not suitable for an adult to lie on,

The microwave did not get warm, so we had nothing to do with it. broken toilet roll holders in the toilets ect ect

And on arrival there is no one then you have to call that you are there and lie there and key under flower pot

Ditto on departure a message that we will leave at 10:00 am and that contact with the owner is a bit strange and then there is an empty basket with welcome inside. it's not about the content, but the contact with the owner. I can provide photos of the defects if you wish.

So far we are very satisfied with the accommodation. Beautiful location with miles of views. The house has been neatly delivered. Clean and tidy! There is plenty to do in and around the house. you can enjoy sports here and walk in the area. The dogs can also roam freely around the house. The garden is well fenced so that the dogs stay on the property. All in all a nice location which invites you to come back in the future !!

Have had a wonderful week with children and grandchildren in beautiful surroundings. The house and garden are enclosed between two roads, which pass by time and time tractors and traffic. Then it was equally busy and noisy, full rest. Great that the site is fully fenced. Delicious every night can bbq and. The house is tastefully decorated and in bad weather there is enough room. The space where you can play table tennis, badminton or football is very suitable for this. The attic with dart board, pool table and table football are also suitable for this. On arrival the beds were made up, there were plenty of bath towels and kitchen linen was also sufficiently present.

And we had a nice stay in chemin du haut. The house offered plenty of comfort, space and facilities, especially for our children (aged between 16 and 19 years old). The traffic that comes along (not very many) runs pretty hard, that I would find a disadvantage for younger children. The garden can be closed. View is beautiful. Plenty of opportunities for hiking, swimming. Mountain biking in Bertrix.

The house is superficial, but not in detail. Light buttons, for example, are dirty. The water jets are very weak, so that showering and use of the sink cannot be efficient.
