The cottage is in a beautiful setting. The owner is very friendly and also speaks Dutch. The interior is somewhat dated, but otherwise fine. I will definitely come back here.

The simple cottage is in a very quiet location, so large and overgrown that there is always a nice place to sit in the sun or the shade, while countless birds let their songs be heard. There are clearly marked walks in the area, which often lead to the beautiful river Semois.

We have enjoyed a quiet week away from home. All you need is present in the house. In the morning you wake to the singing of many birds around you. Once you up with a nice cup of coffee on the porch enjoying a rising sun on the many trees and ponds. For people with the dog (s) go, they can sit outside to play and swim without worrying. For us this is definitely worth repeating and perhaps even in the short term (in winter).

It was a wonderful Christmas here we have gone through. Much, very much snow so that made it even nicer. It is a 5 person house but 4 people is really the maximum hearing ... For the rest very cozy and comfortable. Quiet and lovely in the woods.

Stay of 1 week early november.Heerlijk holiday accommodation, in a beautiful setting. If the house next door too busy, this may give some inconvenience because this is a residence for 10 persons. So if you really go for the rest can be disturbing. Furthermore, it is lovely and nicely secluded. There are really only two houses and nothing else. Blessed location in the countryside and yet close to everything (Bouillon 5.5km) The owner gave the most important explanation. The cottage is very simple, but the basics are there (except Wi-Fi) Also no range or mobile data with Orange (a smartphone week) -detox;))

We have "la Buresse" experienced as a great vakantiehuisje.Klein but fine, with all comforts as dishwasher, fireplace, fireplace, porch, furnace etc. Also we noticed that the house was really spic and span on arrival. For our three children, was also super-living they enjoyed themselves around the house so well in the forest, that they prefer "at home" wanted blijven.Enige point of criticism is that the final bill we found quite spicy. But for us, offered this cottage on this quiet and central location more than enough to return.

Very quiet location in the forest. 2 nice ponds. Everything was very close: the shops are 5 minutes away by car. The center of Bouillon is 10 minutes away. Very nice environment with friendly people where dogs are more than welcome.

Beautiful surroundings, but also close to practical matters such as supermarket etc. Recommended is swimming on the Semois in Rochehaut. Lovely place and also to drive after you pass some beautiful places. La Roche en Ardenne remains our favorite town. Cottage is cozy and everything is there, even a dishwasher. We had a DVD play for the kids because satellite only has foreign channels and the weather can be a bit changeable in the Ardennes. The large figure is beautiful! With a lot of patience you can see a lot of life in it around the water. For the rest had a nice week and a nice stay in the cottage

The accommodation is beautifully located in nature, but keep in mind that there is another house next to it (about 10m further). In Noirefontaine itself there is an aldi, carrefour, action, gas station, ... Bouillon is approx. 4 km away. The chalet is somewhat outdated but everything is there what should be. No wifi available but that is not in the Ardennes :-). Fairly hard bed, it is advisable to bring your own pillow. And the shower is a bit weak. For the rest a basic kitchen and a delightful covered terrace. It was certainly a pleasant, restful and pleasant stay.

The area is beautiful if you like peace and ideal for walking or cycling. The cottage is very primitive, however. For us this was no problem now but it is really basic. Price quality is the rent a bit too expensive. The heater is really too hot at the lowest setting. Fortunately, we could do without it and in the evening we only lit the fireplace. It is doing very well indeed. I also think it is a shame that you only get 2 dishwashing cubes when you book for 3 nights! A detail, but annoying and that costs nothing more to provide one more. The same for the kindling.

After arrival we quickly got the key, and some explanation about the house, which went all very smoothly, the key keeper is easily approachable. The cottage itself is well equipped to stay for a week. We were not advised to turn off the paraffin stove, because it is difficult to restart. During the day we occasionally had to open a window when it got too hot, but during the cold Ardennes nights the stove came in handy! The biggest asset of the house is the location super quiet, very quiet, amidst some beautiful hiking trails and yet only 5 minutes drive from Bouillon.

The accommodation is clean and spacious enough for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. Because of its location it is a dark and quite cold huis.De setting is beautiful. The house is really in the middle of nature. Tip take a baby carrier with small children, the stroller can not be good in the forest in the vicinity.

In August 2012 we stayed at this house with our 10 month old son. Nice setting, cozy cottage. Very clean. During our stay the TV it did not. Does not matter, but missed some Olympic performance. Just keep your food in the cupboards, because the mice lusts it too. But of course this is logical as "n wooded area. However recommended this cottage and it is an excellent base for excursions.

The only sounds are the sounds of nature. From dusk you even get visited by the inhabitants of the forest. A fox, a marten, even a raccoon. Superb anyway! We are sorry that we did not have available to lounge chairs.
