Luckily, I was smart enough to bring a portable radio, but it's a shame we didn't see that coming. I found it poorly maintained, and that's just really disappointing. Had to do a lot of cleaning myself, and there was also a very annoying large wasp nest at dog height. We left a few days earlier because of the trouble, so very unfortunate.

In Noirefontaine itself there is an aldi, carrefour, action, gas station, ... Bouillon is approx. 4 km away. The chalet is somewhat outdated but everything is there what should be. It was an enjoyable holiday. The cottage is nicely decorated and well maintained. It is not very large, more than 4 people is not recommended. We are from Monday 19 December to Friday, December 23 on vacation in this cabin. We enjoyed the places in the environment (broth, Sedan, Bertrix and Neufchateau). The cabin was for us (2 people and 2 dogs) large and comfortable. The fireplace was cozy to make the evening before our departure we were Dutch TV via cable (was German). In Noirefontaine itself there is an aldi, carrefour, action, gas station, ... Bouillon is approx. 4 km away. The chalet is somewhat outdated but everything is there what should be. No wifi available but that is not in the Ardennes :-). Fairly hard bed, it is advisable to bring your own pillow. And the shower is a bit weak. For the rest a basic kitchen and a delightful covered terrace. It was certainly a pleasant, restful and pleasant stay.
