Incredible place with views of a lake, The cabin is simply decorated, but it is perfect for a short stay, We were lucky with the weather and the patio is really a must!

Difficult communication, the accommodation ticket stated French and Dutch but only French, no English either. The cottage needs a lot of maintenance! Broken door handles, shower without the possibility to hang the shower head. Curtains tied with strings and all that kind of stuff. Garden poorly maintained, high grass, lots of weeds, full BBQ with cigarette butts left behind, or in other words not quite what we had hoped for! The place is idyllically remote but therefore in all respects in need of maintenance! Too bad, because the place is otherwise fine!

First of all, the location of this house is fantastic: in the middle of the forest, with lots of privacy and a beautiful view. We were very hospitably received by Mr. Olivier and communication with him was smooth. The cottage was in good condition, but a bit outdated. In particular, the condition of the pans presented a small challenge when cooking. There is also no WiFi connection. Fortunately, the electronics worked fine (dishwasher, oven, microwave) and there was plenty to do in the area. All in all, we had a nice stay in this Belvilla. The only thing we missed a bit was a printout or folder with some more information about the house (for example how the oven works, or what we should do with our waste).

Great environment and freedom around the house, beautiful terrace, wonderful morning / afternoon sun. The dog is happy, we are happy! Lovely to walk from the house. Fireplace and heating were very nice with the colder nights in September. Recommended if you want to relax and enjoy carefree.

Reception by a very nice key manager, who fortunately speaks Dutch. House is in a fantastic location in nature. That is also the reason why we book this house. The kitchen could use some updating, but is fully equipped. Kettle was missing (and kettle too) but with a pan that works too. TV does not work due to poor reception but there are enough videos available. House was clean and the beds made, which is also nice to come in. Various improvements have been made to the house, which are not (yet) visible in the photos on the site.

Dear future guests, We shared this cottage with another family for a long weekend. We were all ready for a moment of rest and a nice meeting now that the corona measures allowed it. We managed to have a very pleasant stay. This is partly made possible by this holiday home and even more so by the beautiful garden. It is not only large, but above all green, full of variety, with two natural ponds and all this close to a number of walks that bring together all the beauty of the Semois valley. The garden also merges into the wider area. Right, we were very lucky with the weather, but it was also nice to stay inside. Arrival was fine. Have been coming to this house for years, so accommodation was known. Fantastic setting. There was a new shower and bath installed. However, we could not use the shower and had to take a shower in the bath, which was not possible for someone with mobility problems. This should have been reported in advance. The TV was missing, well we don't watch much TV when we are gone, but still. Furthermore, the house is well cleaned. We see that improvements in maintenance and renewals are / have been made, which is very nice. This year only very large pans and too few (oven) dishes. We still take them ourselves because otherwise you won't be able to. The fish pond needs clear maintenance, little fish, many aquatic plants. The garden is not suitable (safe) for small children.

We were well received by the owner of the accommodation. We had been in contact via SMS. The owner speaks only French, but we could make ourselves well understood. He gave us a tour of the house. Just before arrival, the house was well cleaned. All facilities were present, from cutlery to a Ping-Pong table. There was even a dishwasher present WITH dishwasher tablets. It looked clean and tidy! The area was wonderfully quiet. Next to the house is a lawn where you can do activities, we had a swimming pool with us. All in all we really enjoyed this accommodation and surroundings!

The cottage was cozy and perfect for 10 people. It was sufficiently spacious, with a beautiful environment. Ideal for hiking enthusiasts !! When the splash failed, Mr. Dedecker was on the spot within 10 minutes. He was very friendly and helpful! In short, very good value for money and recommended to everyone! The house is in a fantastic location in the middle of the woods. The decor is rather dated but otherwise fine. We have been there for a number of years, some improvements have been implemented, but there are still some points for improvement. The bbq for example (3 pieces of note) are outside and are never cleaned. All garden furniture is outside dirty and green. There is a garage. But apparently nothing is put away in that. Door handle of the toilet is always falling, water in the bathroom and sink in bedroom does not go well. In the other bedroom upstairs, a spray nozzle on the tap is missing, causing water to spray in all directions. Small things but annoying and easy to solve. You have to call to pass a time on to the key manager, this only speaks French, and we do not do that very well, so sometimes it causes problems. The fish ponds can not be fished, they are completely dense and there is little water.

The shower head in the bathroom is also broken.

Beautiful place and the house was good, but not superfluous luxury. However, the hot water supply soon turned out not to work, so we had to contact the owner soon. He was quickly available to help. The environment is very beautiful, especially in good weather is great, if the weather is bad, we found little to do in and around the house. We also left earlier because of illness, but had to pay a large part of the deposit due to gas-water-light consumption, this was not right!

Visit Bouillon castle, full of history and very extensive.We attended a demonstration of raptor training and we made a beautiful hike Rochehaut-Frahan and you visited the beautiful village of Laforet.The sun has filled us. De dedeker has given us a very good welcome.

We agreed with the specified person to collect the key at 3 pm. We had to contact the manager because he was not home at the agreed hour. The accommodation met only a 2nd shower on the upper floor would be practical. Environment was beautiful middle of the woods and yet not too far to baker or the city of Bouillon.

We have been coming here for years. This house is in a fantastic location in the forest. There is a pond, but there is no fish swimming in it and is grown up with plants. So you really can not fish here. The house is fine but has overdue maintenance and is very dated. For example, I annoy me terribly that there is no lock in the toilet above (not for years). That seems to me an investment of nothing and is made with 5 min. In the chandelier there are only 4 lights that do it the rest is out or broken. Again, small things that can be quickly fixed and make the house a lot more attractive. The kitchen is fine, but very dated. You almost get out of the kitchen cabinet. In the meantime some things have been bought in the kitchen, a few extra casseroles would be easy, we always drag them along. The bedrooms are spacious and there are blankets on the beds. The bathroom is dated, but hot water comes out of the shower. There is a large garden, without a fence and not practical for small children.

The location is excellent, nice quiet area! Pity of the strong fuel oil smell in the house. There was also a bunk room in the bedroom on the ground floor. We have to wash the dishes and cutlery and the table first, it seemed as if the previous holiday makers left this dirt.

Very nice property with beautiful surroundings. The forest around the pond would make sure some pruning is ideal for walks. In the forest there is a brook that unfortunately is difficult to reach. However, very beautiful and relaxing. Bouillon is a few kilometers away and is a nice trip. Certainly the zoo visit beautiful zoo and a low entrance fee. The cottage itself is well maintained and has a nice terrace and a beautiful view. Overall a must!
