Authentic hunting lodge, equipped with all comforts. Clean and spacious. Quietly located with a very large garden, where there was plenty for the children to experience. Saw a squirrel in the garden, and many birds. 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms upstairs with another bathroom. We stayed with 8 women in this holiday home in February. Upon arrival we were very kindly received by our contact person but the shutters of the house were still closed and the house was completely unheated. Upon entering through the (too) small kitchen we were immediately confronted with very old and dirty sinks. There was no first roll of toilet paper in the toilet, which you normally find in every holiday home. The mixer that was present was broken. When making the beds (ourselves!), it turned out that there were not enough winter duvets for 8 people.
The second evening of our stay we were suddenly confronted with a terrible smell of oil in the living room. We tried to reach the contact person but the house rules listed an incorrect contact person and telephone number. When we were finally able to reach the right person, he immediately came to check the heating system. When everything appeared to be normal there, she contacted the homeowner. He spoke of a normal phenomenon that occurred occasionally and advised us to open all the doors to get rid of the unpleasant smell. However, he refused to comply with our contact person's request to give us a free wood package to warm us up again.
It is not possible to make a wifi connection in this house. There are no fire alarms.
We have been renting through Belvilla for years, but this house is absolutely not recommended in terms of price-quality ratio!

Nice secluded property with ziel.Wie like some secluded and yet stay close to the village center, this is an ideal property. We have our family, grandfather, father, mother and 3 large children a wonderful holiday beginning in August 2012. The house is spacious, comfortable and reasonably outside is fantastic. From the outside it looks like a lovely holiday at the forest (which it is!) - From inside you find yourself occasionally in a castle! The large fireplace, large wooden table, the room, the chandeliers, the stone walls - cool! There is a beautiful garden around it with lots of character through the many old / mature trees, with lots of squirrels and parrots. The house is on the outskirts of the town, but it is super quiet, heard no highway. The welcome was warm and the house was nicely organized. From it we did not experience water problem described by others, the shower downstairs is delicious anyway! From the house you can make various walking and cycling trips, we were with younger children (3-8 years) and they enjoyed themselves perfectly both in home / garden like setting. We love to come here again!

The hunting or & quotvilla & quot met (almost) all our wishes. Here and there some dated and noisy, but mostly complete and all conveniences. There is a nice big outdoor table, but the tablecloth is a few sizes too small. Solved with our hammam towels, so no problem. The environment is beautiful, although a walking map or route tips would be fun. We bought this at the VVV, for 7 euros. Nice walk, although you can also walk behind the house without a book. We have been coming for over 10 years with much pleasure our vacation at this address. it is a beautiful spacious and quiet lodge with a large private wooded grounds and ultimate privacy where you can linger with a large sunny terrace with stunning views to all sides in peace. The large lawn offers plenty of space for children with swings and trampoline where children can play and adults can enjoy playing. From the lodge you can behind situated forest enter directly to (where we deer and roe deer are frequently encountered) walks or cycling, but it is also a wonderful base to explore by car the beautiful surroundings and visit several attractions (museums, zoo, restaurants, excursions to the nearby Luxembourg etc.etc.) The house is furnished with beautiful rustic furniture (largest oak dining table I've ever seen) and has besides normal heating over a huge fireplace where a cozy fire is lit and are all for can sit to enjoy the warnte and also has a bath / shower and toilet upstairs and downstairs have a separate shower and toilet Beautiful large new

Our holiday was mainly due to the poor service rather disappointing. The manager spoke no English and Dutch, and were quite kortaf.Het wood was damp so we could not use the fire and because the house feels pretty cold we had to increase the heating. The costs were calculated and were extra 150 euros on top of the 800 euros we had to pay rent for 1 week. The total for one week in the Ardennes was therefore excessive no facilities for children.
