We were with 8 and one toddler, a very nice weekend behind in the house Célestin. The house was fine and the rooms spacious.The house was cleaned very neat. With wood stoves in living and sitting area was immediately cozy warm. The kitchen was fine with lots of cookware available, a conventional oven, a microwave and a large refrigerator. Been fortunate to be able to have lunch in the background with the beautiful weather outside on the terrace the sheep, very cozy. There also start a few walks to the cottage. Highly recommended !!

We have experienced it as a nice house with a spacious kitchen, separate room to eat and a separate living room. Plenty of crockery and cutlery available. Kitchen very fully equipped, nothing is missing. Spacious bedrooms with large closets. The keys and information provision regarding the accommodation is well organized. It is a beautiful house with all the trimmings. The whole is located in a quiet area with the village about 5 km away. The owners are super friendly and have also invited us for a drink, absolutely great.

We had the Maison du Celestin rented for a weekend with the family (6 adults, 2 children) and that's fine expected. Everything was perfectly arranged, the house is very nicely decorated, and all the comfort and equipment is present. The accommodation is of excellent quality. Well renovated, it is widely provided with various amenities. The space is pleasant (we were two adults + 4 children ages 8 to years). A large and quiet garden, making you want to spend a moment there in the evening with a book. The accommodation was very clean when we arrived. A positive point also for the bedding (this is not always the case in a cottage, but here, the mattresses were very nice!) and a cozy living room. No energy costs, allowing to put a log if necessary. The cottage is a bit dark, notice to lovers of darkness. Lots of flies, probably brought by neighboring sheep. Good welcome from our Dutch-speaking hosts, who partially reside a few houses away. Unfortunately, we were unable to pass by from their terrace open on weekends, after long walks. We nevertheless felt that they were available when needed. We therefore recommend this cottage, ideally located at the edge of a large Ardennes forest, and geographically within reach of crowds of activity in the region.

Also the kitchen is large and everything is present. Outside, we could enjoy the sheep in the meadow on a spacious terrace, and it was wonderfully quiet. (In the barn have some comfortable sun loungers). Opposite the house is a vast forest, good for many cycling and hiking .Vielsalm is a few minutes drive away, you will find several supermarkets. In the holiday home there is a folder and basket of leaflets about all sights nearby. Contacting the Owner went very well on arrival we got a bottle of wine, delicious chocolates and all kinds of tips for excursions in the area. Shortly recommended

The owner is very helpful and friendly! She herself has a small shop about 150 meters away where you can have a drink and eat something small, but it is definitely worth a visit! Just a shock on arrival because there is a factory nearby (smoking chimney, not visible from the house, but you have to pass it). Very nice complete house in a beautiful part of the Ardennes. The house is spacious, clean and well maintained. Everything is included, plenty of cooking utensils, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc. There is little light due to the small windows, but it fits the style of the house. In dry weather, there are many things to do in the area (hiking trails, mountain biking, kayaking, etc.) but unfortunately we have a lot of rain and then there is a bit of searching for suitable activities nearby.

Lovely house with all necessary amenities. The location is wonderful: next to a large forest, close to beautiful walks, super cozy coffee bar around the corner, ... We have done 2 beautiful walks with our 2 children (5 & 7 years). Garden is beautiful. Everything you need for a wonderful stay!

Very nice holiday home in a small, picturesque village. Friendly, Flemish-speaking owners, who run a nice café 150 meters away (open on weekends). Quiet and beautiful surroundings, good base for outings and walks. The top floor in particular is tastefully decorated. Fine, sunny garden. Within 10 minutes (by car) you are in Vielsalm for shopping or a cafe/restaurant visit.

Had a fantastic week in a nice house. (From 10 to 17/9/2021). And meeting the friendly owners a little further was also very nice on the cozy terrace with delicious cake. Highly recommended !

We stayed with our children (clean) parents during Ascension in Maison de Celestin. The house is much larger and more beautiful than the picture "s. The beds are excellent and the kitchen is really everything you need to cook. The days we were there it was beautiful weather, and the terrace and large garden we also quite intensively enjoying the beautiful view of the sheep and the lambs the trampoline for children is a godsend the contact with the owners -.. the family Moons - went very enjoyable and questions were quickly answered well in advance via the mail if the spot. Burtonsville is a picturesque village near Le Grand Bois. and Vielsalm with shops and restaurants is just 10 minutes away. in short, a perfect place in a beautiful part of the Ardennes in all respects. an ideal base for walks and trips to, inter alia, La Roche.

We had a wonderful week in the Ardennes. The holiday home was above expectations. We had pleasant evenings by the fireplace, the beds were of good quality, beautiful view. From the house you can walk straight to the forest and you can enjoy fantastic mountain biking in the area. Good and smooth contact with the landlords! Highly recommended for those who really want to enjoy the Ardennes!

The house was perfectly fine!Verzorgd and proper.Alles is present what is described on the site. Maybe weird to put in the review but there is more than enough cutlery! The owner is very helpful and friendly! She herself has a small shop about 150 meters away where you can have a drink and eat something small, but it is definitely worth a visit! It was a great holiday

Lovely cottage, right next to the forest! Fully equipped, we were especially a fan of the two fireplaces. Very helpful and nice owners, we were even able to charge our electric car! I would definitely recommend this house and hope to return again.

Beautiful house in typical Ardennes style that has been lovingly renovated and maintained by the owners. We loved the flair of the house with the dark wooden ceilings, creaky floorboards and the winding staircase. The house was super clean and well equipped. Dining area, living room and terrace were very comfortable to be able to spend a good time together even in large groups. You location in the middle of the countryside with direct access to the forest is great. If you want a little more culture, the house is a good starting point for day trips to Coo, La-Roche-En-Ardennes, etc. The only mini drawback were the flies, of which there was not a single one when we arrived in the house but through open windows and doors have accumulated over the week (end of July). Fly doors and grilles in front of the windows would make the holiday experience in this house perfect. - But even without a relaxing time here is inevitable. We can only recommend the house and will definitely be back. Many thanks to the committed and super-friendly owners!!!

Already for the 3rd time we come back to this lovely house in Burtonsville. Under two of us or the children and grandchildren in the evening sit together on the hearth or stove. The kitchen is fully equipped well, and the beds are very good. From Burtonsville, you are immediately in the woods for a healthy walk, with a length and difficulty to suit everyone. we go back conclusion!

We have experienced it as a nice house with a spacious kitchen, separate room to eat and a separate living room. Plenty of crockery and cutlery available. Kitchen very fully equipped, nothing is missing. Spacious bedrooms with large closets. Nice terrace and large garden (with the occasional company of the friendly dog, Bowie), sufficient parking space at the house.

The house is in a very quiet area.
