Arrival was well arranged, the manager picked up and showed the accommodation extensively. The steep stairs were a problem for our dog, so get up and down. The kitchen is basic but to use, is there a certain air? Once a thunderstorm and the water flowed under the front door, but no further than the entrance happily. The internet was a new, but very weak signal, so you had to sit at the router's connection to have a little signal. Due to the warmth it was not pleasant to sleep at the top, so we slept in the living room, but in the living hing a surveillance camera (possibly out of use) but that did not make a nice feel. During the week there was a lot of street noise, of freight traffic, at weekends it was absent and very quiet. Breakfast and sometimes evenings we enjoyed the manager at his Willows station, a US-rated tavern, with very Pleasant people. Rental is on a busy road (pretty much trucks and buses). Also at "evening suffer from noise and lights (maybe we were unlucky with logging season). The ground floor with kitchen is very dark. The stairs and floors in the house are dangerously slippery. The shoes were in order not to slip. The property is not suitable for large dogs (37kg) they can not take the stairs so they will have to be raised whether they should stay down. too little relief (may piece brighter) in the bathroom and kitchen (too little light from outside). in area 15min drive are some known top hiking trails of the Ardenne, highly recommended. the setting is gorgeous.

The cottage location is not special, but ala you like we love touring denotes really good. You're about 20/30 minutes to everything, but there is plenty to do there. The only downside is that people no Dutch or English (want) can. We have had the good to our liking!

Navigating around was simple enough since public transport is right outside. There were no concerns about parking either!

The house looked very neat and cozy on the website, upon arrival we had to get the keys at Willow Springs (key managers not the owners of the house) these people were extremely friendly and super helpful, but that was the only positive The house stinks for hours in the wind and is covered in mold (especially the bathroom). The first evening we had no choice but to call around for the internet password and the TV password. Once we had that, we could watch a movie in pieces and chunks. because of the terrible connection, in the entrance (kitchen) you have to walk on the tips of your toes or you will fall through the floor, the pots and pans were dirty in the cupboard as well as the cutlery, the microwave did not work either, so you had to make food. not in there (there is a pizza machine in the street) from the shower you do not get water of more than 25 degrees, not to mention the dirty stains in the seat and on the bed, you are happy to throw away a good €400 in the trash for a weekend then you have definitely come to the right place

The cottage is well furnished, clean and spacious for 2-3 persons. However, the kitchen and dining area is only separated from the neighbors bathroom (also a holiday home) by a plaster wall (also a holiday home): if those neighbors are in the bathroom, it seems they sit in the kitchen with you. Usually people don't talk in the bathroom unless it's a family with kids. Also keep in mind that the house is located on a road with heavy traffic.

The kitchen is downstairs but the living room is on the first floor and the bedroom on the second, these are accessible via a steep staircase that is fairly slippery. Nice renovated old building. Ideal environment for me to ride. Close to nice locations like Vielsalm and Houffalize ,. Achouffe and its brewery. Also nice restaurants. And nearby Luxembourg. Would definitely come back anyway to practice my hobby cycling, idea location.

Cottage is in a village with few facilities. Cottage is divided apart just a living room on the first floor. In warm weather, bedroom can not be used due to the heat.
