THE UNIQUE STORY, AS TOLD BY THE HOMEOWNER
The owner is an atypical person in her personality, her tastes and her vision of the world. This is reflected in the choice of properties. She is a person fascinated by nature and well-being.
Taking advantage of her large garden, she started almost 20 years ago by setting up a cottage near her house. Thanks to a great opportunity, she was able to buy her first trailer, which she also set up on her land, but this time, on the opposite side of her house, towards the stream below. The fact that the caravans are located on the owner's property provides a very secure environment for the tenants, while remaining a very private, unoverlooked place, thanks to the many trees on the plot. Over time, she has grown from one trailer to seven. She uses some of them for her work and herself. The others are available for rent from mid-May to mid-September.
As the caravans are not optimised for long stays indoors, the owner prefers to focus on the good weather to not disappoint her tenants. The owner didn't instal Wi-Fi in the caravans to allow the tenants to recharge their batteries without giving in to the temptation of connectivity, so she has made books and board games available for the days the tenants cannot enjoy the outdoors because of the weather.
As the caravans are original, their walls are only 5 cm thick, which makes it easy to hear the sounds of nature while you are inside.
Through her colourful/busy decoration and the type of accommodation offered, the owner really wants to create an atmosphere and allow the tenants to have a "timeless" experience, back to their roots. She really wants to share and to show her tenants another way of life.
DETAILS
- The attractive Bohemian-style caravans have access to a common area with a trampoline, wellness, sandpit, fire pit, hammock, games and kiosk.
- It is not uncommon to see cute little rabbits or even the occasional deer wandering around the grounds.
- The accommodation is not suitable for small children or guests with reduced mobility
- The caravans are on wheels and this can affect their stability, especially when walking in

We felt here the Gypsy Kings! Thanks to the nice weather we could enjoy outdoor life and light a fire along the babbling brook. When you have to sit inside in bad weather, the accommodation very small. The interior is colorful and doll-and woodwork of the cars here and there to replace them. Like the sheep and the donkeys walking on the ground. The setting is beautiful! We made beautiful walks and cycling a challenging mountain bike route. Bikes can be rented in Houffalize.

The reception was very cordial. The living carts are cozy and comfortable. The weather gave us a little killjoy which we did not set remained real to us because he did not enjoy the immediate vicinity of the caravans. Sufficient Which is very soothing. To once again go back but hopefully with better weather. Recommended!

Super nice site! Very cozy decorated cars. Unfortunately it was quite rainy, but the cars were nice evenings comfortabel.Op dry light a fire. Beautiful place by the brook. Dear owners. For children, the animals were also fun.

We were warmly received in the pouring rain. The children each had their own caravan, what a great luxury for them. We had 4 caravans and "a very private campsite" for ourselves. A fairytale stay. Light fire, play in the river, Great neighbors left the goats and sheep, on the right the two cows. Here is everything not to bore you for a moment and to relax at the same time. The cozy of camping in the middle of nature and actually so much luxury. Nice balance between peace and quiet. Absolutely great. And of course I do not have to tell anything about the Ardennes itself. The children aged 5 and 11 have enjoyed themselves every day.

My experience is mainly colored by the bad weather, unfortunately. Despite the weather: very nice, idyllic, quiet location with a shallow river (ideal with small children) and sufficiently private. The site is completely surrounded by greenery. Very nice decoration with many solar lights outside (of which only half of them worked), tea lights, jars and jugs. Due to the many frills inside, not equally neat everywhere. The original canvas over the central pagoda was replaced by a shabby, non-waterproof canopy. There were stepping stones between three of the four caravans, which is certainly good/necessary in rainy weather. There are outdoor seating, whose fine legs unfortunately sunk into the swampy ground. The lighting in the caravan with kitchen is insufficient (in dark weather). You stand in your own shadow when washing dishes and/or cooking. No microwave available and only 2 hobs. Little worksheet. Is a bit of work sometimes ... However, a radio, small heater, coffee maker, hot water boiler and gourmet set. Near the caravan in which the kitchen and bathroom are located, there is a terrace with table and chairs. Since we had to deal with drizzly weather, it was a pity that no cover was provided here. In the most spacious sleeping trailer, the mattress simply lies on the floor (no slatted base available). Not ideal for comfort. A campfire and logs are provided. There is also a bbq available. However, it is attached and cannot be moved (damn rain!). You reach the site via stairs, so not ideal for less mobile people. There is also a trampoline and swing on a higher part. My conclusion: a very nice place (in dry or in the best case sunny weather) for people / families with children who do not put comfort first.

It was the first few hours to get used to the cottages are actually located in someone's backyard, but that was quickly remedied by the privacy we experienced delicious by the stream, sheltered from the rest of the world by tall trees. And the atmosphere that breathed the cars was so delicious! They are so tastefully and beautifully decorated! Great! Happy coincidence it was nice weather and so we could enjoy the whole week of all the beauty the Ardennes has to offer villages, canoeing, beautiful nature etc.Een holiday to remember.

Great experience in three caravans! Wonderfully quiet to a babbling brook with crayfish. Warm during the day, but "evening cools delicious, and the comforter was badly needed. Friendly homeowner with a whole pack of beasts. From the caravans are many attractions and activities easy to drive.

Prima! Very friendly and helpful owners and friendly welcome. A place where the house is nice and decor and the fact that you have a piece of land for yourself entirely to rest and relax. Top.

Wonderful, relaxing and just a lot of fun. The cars are fun, and gypsy-like furnishings. The location is superb. I say just try! Just be careful that the weather is nice. In bad weather is rough it.

Very friendly owners, nothing is lacking in the vehicles. However, these slightly on aging and a car could not open a window, so there was a musty smell. The cars are not grouped logically. The location is stunning and the babbling brook at the cars are very soothing. Our son three has played with a lot of fun.

wonderful stay, completely away from the world as we like it. In the middle of nature, but with the car quickly at all possible facilities. Thanks to the beautiful weather really lived outside with the children. Just a fairy tale! A top holiday destination for those who are not afraid to go "back to basics".
