Super cute cosy cottage with great garden near the beach
We (a family of four with two teenagers) were allowed to spend two weeks in the really beautiful Finn cottage. The cottage was handed over directly by the landlords and even if you don't see your landlords for the whole holiday, it is nice to know that they are very nice.
The cabin is well equipped and very clean, the terrace is sunny almost the whole day and the large garden gives you the opportunity to relax even on days when you don't want to do anything.
The beach is very easy to reach, but if you want to spend a whole day at the sea, it is worthwhile to drive (parking spaces are available). But you can also walk to the beach without a car.
The beach itself is very beautiful - wide, fine, almost white sand - if you want, you can rent a beach chair, and if you need exercise: there is also the possibility of surfing.
You can buy drinks and snacks on the small beach promenade, and there are also drinks and a small selection of food on the beach itself.
If you need gluten-free food like we do: the ice cream parlour around the corner from the main path to the beach has gluten-free ice cream, in the Knurrhahn restaurant you can eat very well gluten-free (also vegetarian), you just have to ask.
All in all, Usedom offers many great options for activities. Pirate golf is also great fun for older children, glow golf in Peenemünde is something completely different (be sure to choose the option with 3D glasses), we took lots of funny pictures in the "Welt steht Kopf", and in Zinnowitz you can rent boats and sail on the Achterwasser without a driving licence - simply great.
There is a supermarket a few minutes' walk from the house, and you can buy bread rolls both in the supermarket itself and in the entrance area. On Sundays, you can buy bread rolls around the corner in Strandstraße.
The two weeks flew by, we had a good rest and were very happy with our choice of house.

Ideal for beach holidaymakers

beautiful island vacation
Beautiful Finnish hut decorated with a lot of love. One feels really comfortable here. The landlords are very nice and friendly. We would love to come back.
