We were here for the 6th time. A very nice little house in a very quiet and beautiful spot in the Ardennes landscape. A recommendation for nature lovers. Beautiful hiking trails nearby.

Beautiful house with plenty of space. The location is nice, with walking and mountain biking paths in the immediate vicinity. Do keep in mind that there are many flies, which is logical in an agricultural area with many cattle. Tip: night lighting in the upstairs hallway. The hallway is quite narrow, with the stairwell next to the step up to the bathroom, that's quite risky.

Mijn vrouw heeft haar lip bezeerd aan een kapot drinkglas. Met bloeden tot gevolg. Huur van bedlinnen was €5,00 per set. Stond op de prijslijst in de woning. De nieuwe prijs voor het huren was €7,50 per set, vertelde de eigenaar, bij de eind check. Verbruik gas en elctra en huur linnen werd van de Borg (€250,00) afgetrokken. Het overgebleven bedrag kreeg je pas 1,5 week later teruggestort. Wat erg slecht was, is dat er geen korting af ging voor het kapotte glas met verwonding. En het zou ook erg sjiek zijn geweest als de de huur van het linnen met de nieuwe prijs gehalveerd werd, omdat de prijslijst in de woning niet was bijgewerkt. Verder prima verblijf. Maar wil het niet aanraden door de manier hoe de eigenaar het zakelijk heeft afgehandeld. Een borg van € 250,00 werd geen extra

We (family of 3) stayed in the house for a week during the Christmas holidays. The house is of good size. Spacious living room and bedrooms. We stayed here with 3 family members and 2 dogs. We were here during Christmas and there was a beautiful Christmas tree. The view from the house is fantastic. The surroundings are beautiful, made nice walks. There are plenty of excursions to make in the area. There are enough brochures in the house to get ideas. The supermarket is easily accessible in a village nearby, just a few kilometers away. The hosts are friendly and inquired along the way if everything was to our satisfaction. We enjoyed our vacation. The only real downside was that we received a hefty bill for gas, water, and electricity afterwards. (€100 for 1 week) It was cold, and we heated a lot, and we also spent a lot of time indoors. But that was a bit of a downer. We will definitely come back here another time, but in a warmer period so that the heating costs are lower.

Wonderful holiday had in the snow. Walking was so from the house in tranquil environment, while Houffalize Bastogne also nigh for groceries, cafes and restaurants. What a beautiful place! Wonderful rest and a beautiful view of the valley and the cows. We enjoyed the garden and the tree that provided shade. Unfortunately we could not eat outside because of the large amount of flies that wanted to eat with it. But yes, that is part of a farm in the summer. The cottage was wonderfully clean and the owners are very friendly. The beds slept well, we did find the bed in the master bedroom very narrow (140 cm) and also a bit on the soft side. The view from the window made up for that. In short, a must!

Especially the location is very good. If you like peace and quiet and like to walk or cycle, this is an ideal stay. We were here in the fall, not so nice weather, but had a lovely walk with our 2 dogs. The house is suitable for max. 4 persons. Don't be fooled by the photos taken with wide angle lens. There is 1 bathroom. The second shower is in a shed. We were received by the owner who quickly wanted to receive the deposit, fulfilled the formalities and disappeared. We haven't seen anyone until the penultimate day. We think that's okay, but we haven't noticed that kindness in other comments. The Belvilla website states that final cleaning is included. But when you arrive you have to pay 250 € deposit and 50 € cleaning. We also find 8 blocks of wood for € 3 quite a lot, if you use the wood-burning stove for additional heating. The house was clean, functionally furnished, the bed okay. It is mainly the environment that we want to return to

This house is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy peace, quiet and beautiful nature. Walks, flowing rivers, many herons in the pond opposite the house, no light and air pollution around. Lovely fireplace. An unworn sofa, a reading lamp and an armchair by the garden doors would further benefit this house. But; so don't worry. Nice price-quality ratio. We enjoyed.

The only point that is different from what we thought is that there are actually not three (bed) rooms, but two, one of which has a loft.

After an extremely friendly welcome and short explanation, our winter stay in this Gite (31-01 / 07-02) started. In this Gite everything was neat and tidy + everything we needed was available inside. The Gite (with its own entrance and parking space, easy for loading / unloading) is free from the owners' farm and therefore provides enough privacy. The area is beautiful, with beautiful views and plenty of walking opportunities next door. All buildings on the site of> 200 years old radiate tranquility, but you can still feel the activity of centuries of hard work wandering around. Our German Shepherd also enjoyed considerably the freedom she had. We have had a wonderful week of relaxation due to everything and we will definitely return to this beautiful and friendly place. Everything gets a good enough from us.

Very friendly Walloon owners who tried to speak Dutch. Just cottage, everything very clean. Nice surroundings and nice quiet. Dog could not just stay outside, garden not completely set. But residents' farm did not mind. Their dog is also social. Additional costs for gas, water etc are included.

We stayed 5 days in the gite with two adults and one dog. The cottage was very clean, rarely had a rented house that was just that. The owner came by in the evening to see if everything was to your liking and the rental guarantee to arrange etc. She was very friendly and not intrusive.De stay was certainly spacious enough for two couples and 2 children + 1 baby. For three couples it is not recommended since you have to go through a room with two single beds to reach another room.There are two bathrooms and two separate showers.In the kitchen you will also find everything necessary for good cooking. exudes peace and quiet.The fact that the gite is connected to a farm you do not notice, you hear nothing of it, except from a cow a cow in one of the many surrounding meadows. to find a store you have to take the car to Houffalize (8 km) or to Bastogne (15 km) .It is the ideal base for beautiful walks and MTB tours.There are three MTB routes from Houffalize near the residence (red 3 + 4, yellow 1 The blue 5 runs a few hundred meters away so you can easily pick it up. Via the "RAVel" you can cycle to Houffalize by bike in 20 minutes to explore other MTB routes from there. You therefore do not have to move with the car. There is also a spacious space at the gite where you can store the bikes. The additional costs of the stay are a bit high. 50eur final cleaning and then extra for electricity etc.

Furniture (both sofas) need to be replaced and the mattress on the double bed too.

After a few hectic months now I was ready to really rest and a few days of quality time with family. The cottage is incredibly quiet you can hear nothing, more than 5 car 's day did not pass. Ideal for reading quietly under the tree in the morning dus.in the immediate area there is to be found for everybody wants something. We chose for the museum in Bastogne, fishing in Achouffe, a walk around the lake Nisramont, kayaking on the Ourthe, shopping in La Roche and got a lot out of time in the afternoon.

Quite spontaneously we had this house booked- partly because you also if you go with dog. It is a very nice house in an old farmhouse. Very nicely renovated and especially the view is beautiful. The windows are facing south so now in the spring it was wonderful to have so much sun. You can instantly enjoy hiking but also cycling. We were celebrating with z 'n but it's big enough for six people. The only thing we missed was a nice warm rug for the floor downstairs is quite koud.Maar a must for anyone who loves peace and space.

It was a very pleasant holiday in a cozy cottage. It is good to do for people with children and those seeking peace. Our children have certainly had their sentence, they could make use of the playground and they have with the children of the owners who were accidentally played the same age. The owners were very friendly and the hostess talking quite a bit of Dutch. It was definitely worth it we will definitely go back.

It was a wonderful week in Moulin Neuf. A town with only one house, the new mill. The cottage stands on the edge of the yard of a farm. We were kindly welcomed and spent a pleasant way all week. The cottage is fully equipped. In the immediate area was lovely walking and running. While running also encountered many mountain bike trails. Our youngest daughter helped a little each day on a farm and was particularly interested in the horse (Vanilla). That should take care of them regularly and even riding. Her vacation was therefore memorable. We all enjoyed the unobstructed view, the peace and the many nature around us. We feel strongly about to once again go back.

Beautiful detached holiday home with lots of peace and privacy in the town of Neufmoulin. With a beautiful view over the rolling countryside. The shed next to the house may be used to store bicycles. Very friendly owners. The owner speaks good Dutch. The owners have a farm, but you hardly notice it. Nice to take a look at the cowshed every day! Ideal for 4 adults or for 2 adults with 2 to 4 children. The house has its own access road and entrance.The house is fully equipped. Has mosquito nets on all windows, radiators in all rooms and even has a washing machine! In the garden there is a large tree that provides pleasant shade during warm days, a BBQ and two extra sun loungers. There is a table tennis table under a canopy that may be used (bring your own bats). For your daily shopping you drive to Houffalize in 10 minutes. Larger supermarkets are only a 15-minute drive away in Bastogne: Delhaize, Carrefour or Colruyt. Nice base for trips in the area: Plopsaland and waterfall in Coo, caves of Han and many attractions about the Battle of the Bulge, such as museum with monument in Bastogne and the Bastogne Barracks. Cheap fuel and a large shopping center in Pommerloch, Luxembourg. Cycling and walking routes in the immediate vicinity. Mountain bike routes even pass it, but take into account costs afterwards for the use of electricity, water and garbage, but it is comparable to using it yourself at home. We will definitely come back here!

Who is like walking here z "draw n. Once the house are out there are endless walks. Long, short, woods or fields is possible. Bastogne is also a short distance away, so who of town ( you) holds can go here too. I will not start but the holiday. there was really nothing to criticize.

The cottage is situated in a remote village near a farm. Although the cottage is close to this farm, you notice here nothing of. The inhabitants of the farm (including dogs and cats) is allowed to enjoy the holidays in peace. The cottage is well cared for. Perhaps had it here and there may be a bit cleaner but the rest is the cottage fully equipped. For those not way to store behind a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there is not a good WiFi connection. Self we made almost no use here. Who can not live without, will be disappointed.

We have a very quiet and pleasant week in polite Neufmoulin. The cottage is adjacent to the farm, but this does not affect the privacy during the stay. Very neat and clean, everything needs to be there. The kids (13 and 9) have missed with moments or the DVD player and wifi on the other hand it was the perfect excuse for a week without the "screens". This area is ideal for walks protrude even in this winter we have the majority spent outdoors. Nearby are numerous sites that were very interesting for us and our children. Ideal to just leave the busy life and enjoy the family, nature and culture.

The reception was very welcoming. Speaking Dutch. All questions and requests were answered immediately and granted. The area is hilly, with meadows and woods. The apartments are part of a farm, but still very private. Doing shopping is not a problem. At about 10 km from the holiday is all available. Also Bastogne (10 km) is a must. All in all an excellent holiday in a very quiet surroundings.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, very quiet. We arrived in the dark and then it is a bit of searching for the entrance! Friendly reception by sir. Sir unfortunately only speaks French, but with hands and feet and good will it all went fine and we understood each other! The cottage is very nice, much larger than expected and the stove was already turned on for us, which was very nice. Everything was there and the house was very clean. Unfortunately only three nights, we would have liked to stay longer and definitely want to come back again! Please note that there is no supermarket on walking / cycling distance. Houffalize has two smaller supermarkets (10 minutes) and in Bastogne (15 minutes) you will find more stores. Only downside The dogs walk around the house, with the droppings that entail. Unfortunately, we have stepped in a few times in the dark.

We had a wonderful midweek in this house. The house is fully furnished and cozy. The views from the house and the garden is lovely and spacious and you really hear anything except the wind, the cows and the sparrows. Directly from the house you can walk for hours through the countryside and suddenly face to face with a fox or cycling on quiet country roads and beautiful paved paths. Bastogne and Houffalize were a bit disappointing but you can eat and do some shopping. This home is truly a must if you like peace and quiet.

Neufmoulin is a beautiful house, next to the owner's farm, which was very helpful. Magnificent views of grazing cows, a bull and a horse. Wonderfully quiet. Minus the poor wifi connection, which always failed and the third bedroom, hardly accessible and definitely not suitable for children and people who have difficulty walking. The cottage is a surprisingly good conversion of a part of the farm. You have been searching for details to give comments to improve (such as seats without cushions, or a sharp paring knife, ...). Everything works, everything is clean, windows with a great view, birds anywhere around the house, a horse, cows with calves, beaver dams along the river. The Ravel Houffalize Bastogne is nearby. Overall one of the better places in the Ardennes where we were with our children.
