We have spent a week in this lovely traditional Tuscan home. The location is stunning with views over Lucca. We were warmly received. The house is spacious, the decor is traditional, somewhat busy, but everything is there. There's an old building, it is a bit dusty, so people with allergies can make it better not take it. At the end of the week, a traditional Tuscan meal was prepared for us, which was really excellent. I can recommend the house for people looking for a traditional Tuscan holiday.

Fine house, with high chair, changing table, crib, toys, microwave, kettle, everything for the baby. But also fine garden furniture, barbecue, dishwasher. Neat, clean, friendly owner. Only what is hot in the bedroom (because it was 25 degrees outside, though). Nice setting, good base. Beautiful, well-marked hiking trails (including 2 for stroller) following in Houffalize (7 km away). There's also a small supermarket, a bakery, a patathok and 10 cafes / restaurants.

This was incorrect. In "brief: very good destination. Many walks in the vicinity. Mostly we drove to Hoff Alize, whence heelwat walks with varying difficulty and distance possible. Hoff Alizé provides sufficient opportunity to purchase, such as a very nice bakery, and an excellent butcher . There is also a Delhaize Plus, where the main necessities can buy. A special place (former bakery, with baker's oven), in the middle of the village of Rachamps, opposite the church and the old washing place. Our dog also felt at home there. The owners are cordial people.Rachamps is a nice base for walks and hikes, such as to the Abbey of Orval and to the megaliths of Wéris. We especially enjoyed the valleys of the Ourthe and its tributaries, full of beavers. And from the autumn colors golden yellow of beech and larch.

Beautiful, sober but very atmospheric and clean cottage that used to serve as the breadcake oven of the village. Ideal for 4 people and well equipped with necessary kitchen facilities. Centrally located for walks near Bastogne or Achouffe. The walk of the Festival of Achouffe is a must if you like to see beaver castles and photograph fly birds and end up with a nice beer. Our motto to find out was Eat, Sleep, Read, Repeat and it's perfect for that. Pleasant reception by owners who live next door.

We had a few days in this house, two adults and two children. The house is not very big but very nice. We felt very at home. The cottage was very clean. There is little natural light in some places, but there were several lamps and lights. The furniture was very neat. The bathroom is small but very well kept. There is also a kettle in the house. The pots and pans are well represented. There is a Senseo coffee maker. What a pity is that the stores are not close. Just bread for breakfast costs a lot of time. We therefore usually been bought the day before the breakfast things. Homemade pizza in the old bread oven was not easy. We eventually nagegaard the pizza in the oven. And then he did great! Le Mairlou we found a very cozy and comfortable cottage. It has been carefully decorated with an eye for detail. However, it is quite dark and the view is not worth mentioning. In the garden is a fine climbing tree, to the delight of our two children. It is located on a quiet road just next to the "mother house". Le Mairlou is an excellent base for walks and excursions. Lovely stay in a cute cottage with authentic touches like a stone oven, also used as a fireplace. Every comfort is present. Nice area for walking, especially the area around the Ourthe ensures very adventurous trips. You can leave from La Chouffe, Houffalize, Widrin, Legreux and much more. Each ending with a cozy Beer wa in a rural tribe ineke then you plop down at home and enjoy an aperitif at the fireplace. More should not be. Less advisable for not deep sleepers because the tractors (month of April) leave very early for their field and because of the traffic hills just at the house, their loading bins make a lot of noise and also literally make the house shake. We were amazed at the space inside the house. The kitchen was fully equipped (oh yes, no kettle), but that was the least gemiss. The dog felt at home. It is very quiet and definitely recommended. Walking?? yes, as much and as long as you wanted. WONDERFUL! This house we can only recommend.

Good arrival, had prior contact with owner about arrival time. Upon arrival we got an explanation about the house and there was a nice bottle of beer waiting for us. Located in a quiet area for running and walking (also with dog).

The gîte, which dates back to the 19th century, gives a very definite impression, despite being in the middle of the village next to the owners' house. Due to the location with the blind walls to the street and the shielded small garden (well located on the sun) the outside world remains. It is a small village with excellent walking opportunities in the immediate area. The furnishings of the gite are good and fitting in style. We had a few days in this house, two adults and two children. The house is not very big but very nice. We felt very at home. The cottage was very clean. There is little natural light in some places, but there were several lamps and lights. The furniture was very neat. The bathroom is small but very well kept. There is also a kettle in the house. The pots and pans are well represented. There is a Senseo coffee maker. What a pity is that the stores are not close. Just bread for breakfast costs a lot of time. We therefore usually been bought the day before the breakfast things. Homemade pizza in the old bread oven was not easy. We eventually nagegaard the pizza in the oven. And then he did great! The entire house had radiators as required, warmed the house. The owners we have only seen the beginning (very nice!). Lovely stay in a cute cottage with authentic touches like a stone oven, also used as a fireplace. Every comfort is present. Nice area for walking, especially the area around the Ourthe ensures very adventurous trips. You can leave from La Chouffe, Houffalize, Widrin, Legreux and much more. Superb house, many facilities (sufficient cutlery and crockery, dishwasher, toaster, salad spinner, juicer, plenty of good knives and pans etc.) Only thing missing was a kettle. We were here in the snow and continuous -5, -6. The walls remain very cold, and the stoves save it just, at temperatures around and above zero is a wonderful house to heat! We have a nice and peaceful holiday cottage gehad.Het was fine, clean, not fancy, but we were lucky with the weather, so yes we have little inside gezeten.Het is very rural. So you can walk to the fullest. Our two american bulldogs had it and the garden is very suitable for your dog with you. Tightly closed so they can run around freely.
