Recently, we stayed in this former hotel in Malmedy, and it was an unforgettable experience! The spacious layout is perfect for family gatherings, with each bedroom equipped with a private bathroom—no more arguments about who gets to shower first! The indoor pool was a highlight, especially after a long day of hiking in the beautiful Hoge Venen nature park. We spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, which was exactly what we needed to unwind. The location is ideal.

The house is very clean, the living room and dining room are very modern and comfortable. we used the wellness which is fantastic, the jacuzzi just great, the very spacious sauna and a beautiful view, the children really enjoyed it. the house is ideal for a family stay. We have to stay calm for the neighborhood, so no fence, but that's normal. We will come back

The house is super modern and the managers have explained it well, music in the ceilings and LED lighting. The rooms are good with a small bathroom in each room. The wellness is just incredible with a super large sauna with beautiful views, the jacuzzi with colorful waterfall is the most beautiful I have seen, beautiful swimming pool with infrared lamp in the terrace. We will come back to this house.

Despite the fact that we were much later than planned due to a traffic jam, Philippe took the time to welcome us and explained everything clearly. The cottage is fully equipped, with an extensive and large kitchen, and a nice living / dining room. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are of course fantastic to have! Philippe was also very helpful and easily accessible with check-out.

The only point for improvement that we can suggest is that the house is somewhat "old-fashioned". Especially the bathrooms (but what a luxury to have a bathroom per bedroom) will soon need to be replaced. But otherwise great!

A great house in a beautiful setting. The house is old and anything but cozy. (Read old-fashioned and dated) but if you are with a large group, you quickly see through it. The jacuzzi was already rancid on arrival, and the cover does not do any good. The pool and sauna, on the other hand, were fine. The rooms are simple and dated, the bathrooms small but clean. If you rent this location, you must take into account the extra (heating) costs. In our case there was a bill of almost € 700 for electricity and oil !!! € 417 for the oil for the heating, which could not be reversed in any way. The "owner" is a nice guy, but has little time to explain it all properly. (If he reads this, make a clear description of all important things. )Walk a visit to the PEAK brewery the waterfalls of Coo. All very nice and not too far away. So, had a nice weekend 👍🏼

What a beautiful location! We went here with our group of friends. Because of Corona we haven't been able to do much outdoors, but this house has everything you need. We have been there for 3 days and we never got bored. The living and sleeping area is somewhat dated but certainly not in bad condition. I see in many reviews that there is mold and old beds/mattresses. That is certainly no longer the case. Everything looks very neat and tidy and all the beds have been replaced, so no more old mattresses! Because it has been an old hotel, each bedroom has a separate bathroom, these are also not new, but in excellent condition! The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were later added to the main building and are very modern furnished. The water was already at the right temperature when we arrived and the costs to keep everything warm were not that bad! We were received very hospitably by Sara. She speaks good English (In other reviews it says that is not the case, I already downloaded a translation app ;) ). This is definitely recommended if you want to have a nice weekend with friends and/or family.

We stayed a weekend with a group of friends and really enjoyed our stay.The pool area was perfect with the sauna, jacuzzi and pool. Lots of entertainment (darts, table tennis, kicker, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, billiards) in sight of everyone, so not hidden in a cellar or attic.Spacious lounge with large, digital TV.Washing machine and dryer: very handy after the dirty mountain bike rides. Sanitary per room: a bit strange-looking units placed in the room, but kept spotlessly clean! Beds equipped with decent mattresses. Very friendly hostess, willing and flexible.

Smooth and friendly welcome. Nice that everyone has their own bathroom. Kitchen with all necessities and even 2 dishwashers. Beautiful and large recreation room. Take a barrel of beer with you and you can enjoy it with the provided sound amplifier and good speakers in the ceiling. You can find a beautiful walk on the website of Ostbelgien, it starts less than 100 m from the residence. During this walk, deviate for a moment to the Peak Beer Café.

Op 15 oktober 2020 deed ik bij u een boeking met boekingsnummer: 1L L2 3B 69. Het gaat om accommodatie BE-4960-212, te weten, Gite de la Fagne, 51 Route De La Baraque Michel in BE - 4960 Malmedy van 15 tot en met 22 oktober. Dat wat een mooie herfstvakantie moest worden, bleek wat de vakantiewoning betreft een catastrofe. Het gebouw bestaat uit een nieuwe aanbouw met zwembad, jacuzzi en sauna. Het hoofdgebouw was een oud hotel met bar en lounge omgeving. Het eerste was qua bouw en inrichting prima. Het hoofdgebouw was oud, vies, niet goed onderhouden en vochtig (schimmel groei). In de vloeren en muren zaten gaten. Niet groot, maar groot genoeg om ongedierte van buiten naar binnen door te laten. Dat is nog niet het ergste, het stikte er namelijk van de muizen. Toen we aankwamen op vrijdagavond zagen we meerdere muizen rondrennen op zowel de beneden als boven verdieping (slaapkamers!). In het weekend hebben wij muizenvallen gekocht en gezet en de manager gebeld en gesteld dat dit geen huis voor gasten was maar een huis voor muizen. Aan het einde van het weekend hadden wij al 6 muizen gevangen. Hoewel de dame van het management heeft geprobeerd het probleem te verkleinen, is dit niet echt gelukt. Een dergelijke situatie is alleen op te lossen met een grondige deep clean van het volledige huis en het inschakelen van een verdelgingsdienst. Tijdens de vakantie hebben wij in totaal 10 muizen gevangen en nog veel meer muizen zien rondrennen, zowel boven als beneden in de slaapkamers (Een van de kinderen vond zelfs een muis op zijn bed! Op de zolder die afgesloten was zijn wij, na het ontdekken van de muizen, wezen kijken. Daar was het erg vochtig en er lagen een aantal oude matrassen. Niet bevorderlijk als er zoveel muizen in huis zijn. Gezien het grote aantal muizen dat wij gevangen en gezien hebben, kunnen we ervan uitgaan dat er behoorlijk wat muizen intrek in het etablissement hadden genomen. Op sommige plekken kon je de muizen achter de muren horen. Deze hoeveelheid muizen creëert afval en stank die niet te beheersen is. Onder de bar in de hoek bij het raam kon je het afval (urine) van de muizen ruiken. Het was er vies met verscheidene gaten waar de muizen in en uit konden lopen. Bij nadere inspectie was het duidelijk dat het huis oppervlakkig was schoon gemaakt met stof en viezigheid aanwezig in hoeken en gaten en achter en onder de kasten. En overal lagen muizenkeutels (zelfs op het aanrecht in de keuken!). Het huis was duidelijk ongeschikt voor veilige verhuur en later bleek zelfs een gezondheidsrisico. Onze groep bestond in het weekend uit 13 volwassenen en 7 kinderen, na het weekend waren dat 2 volwassenen en één kind minder. Eerst werd een kind ziek - misselijk en overgeven. Gedurende de week werden er steeds meer volwassenen en kinderen ziek - in totaal zijn 9 volwassenen en 3 kinderen ziek geworden, allemaal dezelfde verschijnselen, overgeven, misselijk slap en slechte nachtrust. Wij hebben een aantal mogelijkheden de revue laten passeren. Buikgriep. Na het eerste geval zijn wij heel voorzichtig geweest met het gebruik van de toiletten, dus niet mogelijk en werd er een streng regiem van handen wassen ingevoerd. Voedselvergiftiging, niet mogelijk. Dan was iedereen tegelijk ziek geworden.

As soon as we arrived, the manager took charge of us and explained everything to us. Her kindness, availability and perfect knowledge of the place have allowed us to have a perfect stay, she and her husband are adorable, and make all the difference with another place.The cottage itself is exceptional for teenagers. all ages (between 14 and 56 years!), with swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, billiard, ping pong, darts and kicker.This is perfectly clean (thanks again to the manager) and very nice because each room has its bathroom . The place is on a road, but quiet and close to all the walks.

Accommodation fully complied with the description of the holiday home in the website, and perfectly matched expectations. Beautiful nature with many beautiful hiking trails. The tall fins are a very beautiful nature reserve. With the children and infants (10) and grandchildren (12) we had a very nice and enjoyable 7-day holiday, partly because the weather was well-kept, sunny and mostly dry. The infrastructure of the kitchen was OK, the house nice clean on arrival, ping pong table, pool, sauna and other appliances in order. The only slight point was that the jacuzzi fell quiet after 3 days. Was apparently a problem with the filter installation. After replacing the filter, the jacuzzi returned for 3 days.

We were there in the last weekend of February 2015. When we arrived there was snow and it was within just a bit too fresh. The next day, the temperature inside fine. The building was formerly a hotel. So there was plenty of cutlery, etc. All rooms were equipped with new bathrooms, which sometimes are rather small. Some rooms are a bit outdated and not very big. We were there with children + five grandchildren (teens). There is also plenty enjoyed jacuzzi, swimming pool, not to mention the many game options. Overall for us a great holiday.

We rented this villa from 12.26.2014 till 1/01 / 2015We went 14 people.The was an old hotel that they only rented from May 2014.Alles was ok and certainly clean, bit outdated but fun. There was a new indoor pool, sauna and ontspanningsruimte.Alles went great, and we even had sneeuw.Tot we got the bill, amai..Eerst consumption of the water that was okdan the consumption of electricity, which was also ok, it is also a big huis.Maar then it comes suddenly, there is an account of consumption fuel oil, 652 euros ... that's incredible veel.We already rented the villa for 4000 euros where there is also an insurance (mandatory) at was.We had broken a lamp, and it was therefore deducted from deposit (after my disagreement of I have to pay it anyway) .We paid 1500 deposit (also required) and I ended up still about 300 euros I terug.Dus would say if you want to rent this villa please note that afterwards recovers a large amount.

The rooms are comfortable and feature a bathroom. The house is from many walks in the Hautes Fagnes. We were very well received by the manager. We will return the " next year.
