We had a fantastic stay in this vacation home! The spacious layout was perfect for our family of six, and the terrace was a lovely spot for evening barbecues. The nearby forest trails were a hit with the kids, who loved exploring nature. Recommended for a family stay!

We spent a lovely weekend at this vacation house. It was clean and tidy, with plenty of space for everyone. The garden was great for our dog to run around. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring the local history. We would definitely return!

The stay was pleasant, but I felt that the furniture could be updated a bit. That said, the location is excellent and is close to many attractions like Reinhardstein Castle. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals, and it was nice to relax by the fireplace in the evenings.

Reasonable house for the price. The comfort could be better: few comfortable seats, a few good pillows and a few harder ones, and a cold floor. No Dutch TV available. Otherwise fine.

The holiday home is exactly as described: spacious, comfortable, with an attractive view. The beds are good, the heating works quickly and the shower is wonderful. We have experienced the service as excellent and very friendly. What other guests have written about the fireplace is unfortunately still true: it doesn't draw quite well, so the living room can quickly turn blue with smoke. We've found that you need to stack the wood more backwards and make sure the fire gets hot quickly, use plenty of kindling, and build a good pile. Fortunately, the wood is made available and you do not have to get the wet blocks from the supermarket yourself. What is not stated in the description is that the dead end street where the house is located has become a kind of holiday home, with many large rental villas, up to 30 people, and new ones are being built. There are hardly any people from the village living there. We planned our vacation in the fall when it wasn't busy, and yet we were bothered at night by a group of people having a company outing right next door. In the summer it must be a lot noisier with large families with children settling down nearby. The region is described as quiet and wild, but all those people and their crowds and noise make it less attractive, which is a shame. Furthermore, the area is beautiful, full of forests, rivers and beautiful hills. Our dog also enjoyed the many walks that you can indeed start near the house. The only downside is that the house is not completely fenced: at the front a dog or a child can go out onto the street. So pay attention!

Nice house in beautiful surroundings. Bit far away from the region with the famous Ardennes activities (like Kano and Zo) but on the other hand that hour was driving best and by a beautiful area.

There are around to make nice walks, but unfortunately in the village no sidewalk café!

Very nice house with a beautiful location. The road is a dead end very little traffic. From the house there is a view of meadows with cows and forest strips in verte.Huis was clean, no dust bunnies or something and the sheets are bright white (unfortunately for 15lbs very thick duvets). Beds sleep fine, fine shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, from trays to blender from toaster to cutting boards. On ongv 1km away is a bakery, other shops and amenities can be found in Malmedy (15min drive) .In the cottage were less than 3 cards with a total of 9 trails. The trails are beautiful and varied, but the terrain is very steep in several places. A walk of 7km feels like 10km. There is in the village one flatter walk 5km. From the house you walk in 5min into the woods where you hardly people from komt.Enige drawback was that the key address was misrepresented. After some ringing we found it (sitting nearby). Welcome was not exactly warm. In the garage there is a washing machine, but the door was locked. We had to 3x for back because they were claiming that the garage just

Everything was really great except for a smokey smell inside the house. Event though we opened the windows and doors several times a ay to get some fresh air inside the house it smelled very smokey inside all the time. We suggest to clean the house everywhere, walls, windows, floors, lofts, furniture etc. to get that smell out of the house. We should have complained the first day, but we were tired after a long journey with 3 children, and thought it would go away, but it didn´t.

It was super lovely views over the valley. Very nice to see that the bedding etc were clean. The kitchen was very complete. oven, large fridge, plenty of cutlery and even a frying pan. Wandering fell heavily the valley was very deep, and style, but at the end it turned out that there was also a route for families with children. One slight problem, the bank was not very comfortable. We enjoyed.

House appeared broader than under the photo "s expected. Neat and very complete kitchen, a nice bathroom and a swing set with slide in the garden. Only downside, the cold tiled floor, slippers along in the winter!

We are in early October "Au-dessus de la Vallée" been with friends, both with dog. The house is cozy and comfortable. Upon entering the heater was already making it cozy bnnenkomen was. The house is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails from mild to quite severe. Within 5 minutes you are in the woods, great. From the terrace you have a beautiful view over the valley.
