Extremely cozy house, large garden, very nice owners, have much care for the house. Is their former home. Very authentic so attractive, inside and outside foci were lighted upon our arrival, some nice fresh flower arrangements on the table. When eating out going to pay attention to the opening, in our period (September) there were many restaurants closed on Wednesday and Thursday. The range of (quality) restaurants in the area noticed a bit disappointing.

Very welcome received by the owner speaks mainly French, but very well doing its best to make himself understood also in English, she does better than she seems to find itself. ) Cottage was incredibly attractive and the garden beautiful. Owner lives with mother in the same building, but completely different driveway and entrance, so no bother. Area was also superb. Great walks within fifteen minutes away and many interesting towns within reach. In Germany (Monschau) way. Owner did not childish about the firewood so used. Total no cost afterwards so. Very nice feeling that if you have to go home until you're sorry. Fantastic holiday!

What we noticed is that the owner is very committed to his guests that he receives. A first contakt by telephone and then a day in advance what time we can get. We have a very positive ervaren.Men at the receiving ample time to explain about the accommodation. The house has a lovely garden and terrace at the back with an open outdoor fireplace. Furthermore, the accommodation fully equipped, including a conventional oven and microwave oven. Overall a recommendation for a short stay, unfortunately in our case as if a long stay.

We had a wonderful holiday here with our children. The house was equipped with lots of extra 's like stocked game closet for the kids, outdoor toys, playhouse, slide, lap pool, swing. The kitchen was more than complete, with all sorts of additional devices (fondue, gourmet, egg cooker, etc), welcome drink , spices, cleaning products. the house has a fantastic well maintained garden with stunning views and lent itself to hide and relax. it has surpassed our expectations and we can recommend it wholeheartedly.

The house is fully equipped. Lots of space for everyone. We were there with 3 adults and 2 children. For the children there is a lot of space in the garden to play. There are playgrounds and a large grasveld.Het is linger at one of the fireplaces in the house (there are 3!). Everything was good verzorgd.Aanrader!

The house is very autheniek but attractively furnished. The garden is huge and also from the house, the view is beautiful. In bad weather you can stay outside under the awning when it's cold and you can place it on lighting. The house is nice and quiet and surrounded by a beautiful garden. It is an old farm house, which was completely rebuilt into living space while preserving its characteristic features and yet with all modern conveniences. I can recommend this house to anyone. It is an old house, but with all the luxuries that we now want, such as a microwave, oven and dishwasher and a big garden! 2 fireplaces inside and 1 outside! The bedrooms are perfect! The shower is very special (with lots of rays). There is also a bath! And internet!

We were warmly welcomed by the householder. The fire was already lit and the bottle of wine was tewachten for us in the fridge. After an extensive tour we were able to give our eyes a living. Our first impression was the feeling of being in Bokrijk, but with all the modern comfort! Really fantastic! Each room was fine. The beds were blissful. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. Children can really here ophalen.Wat their heart for the environment within driving distance and a department store within walking distance bakker.Qua a nice movement and activity there is something for us wils.Voor a mega fantastic first experience in the Ardennes. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival by the rustic and spacious character of this huis.Knus and rustic furnishings so we easily feel at home. The welcome was warm, and, before that we already had a very nice phone contact with the owner who gave us all the information clearly passed. The ground floor is very spacious with well equipped kitchen, large dining room and spacious lounge. More than enough room for everyone. It was everywhere in the house nice and warm, and the existing fireplaces made for extra cosiness. Nice garden, bright present and beautiful garden terrace and stunning views. Upstairs is the slightly smaller, with two spacious double bedrooms and a third small room with two single beds. This room is sufficient for adults when they are not too long. That is the only point that should be emphasized The house is not really suitable for people over 1m85. Our son is 1m90 and pretty much had to stoop to get through certain doors and beams. The surroundings invite you to make beautiful walks. The carrefour of Malmedy is nearby and has a very nice offer. We would have liked to stay longer.

We had a fantastic holiday in this classic-style cottage. The cottage is located near the High Fens nature reserve. The garden is beautifully decorated with many kinds of trees, but also has a large lawn where the kids were great football and badminton. The house is classically furnished and has a cozy feel. Being a very old house, the beams in the bedrooms hang a bit lower (so if you're bending a little longer). The kitchen is fully equipped. We have wonderful cook and then dine on real porcelain. And "evening during a downpour we enjoyed outside under the canopy of the fireplace. Baker and the butcher are in the village within walking distance of the cottage, so" morning breakfast with fresh rolls. In the vicinity of Malmedy, we have some nice trips and walks. Highly recommended are a tour of the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, the museum in the abbey of Stavelot and the nature trail in Heppenbach, Amel. The owners are very friendly and helpful people who strive to give you a nice holiday. In short, a house in order to arrive at all.

Very cozy cottage with good location, very complete equipment and beautiful garden, BUT NOT DETACHED !! The owner not only lives next to the cottage, but actually under the same roof. This is therefore not a detached holiday home, but a semi-open construction. Had we known this, we would not have chosen this one. Sorry but somewhat misleading.

First, the huge garden to play, eat, sunbathe, read, paint enzenz.Verder the atmospheric house where everyone enough space for socializing, but also for peace if you just need a companion. We have two adults, dog and four (14, 17, 17, 19) children (..) celebrated wonderful holiday here. Lots to do within 10 km, but surely climbing within 20 km kayak, swimming, mountain biking enzenz. Walking distance to the baker, butcher and small supermarket. At 8 km Carrefour. Unfortunately the car to the garage but Helmut (the homeowner) even offered there to take us to add class!

The holiday and stay was in one word top. The contact 2 days in advance by the owner with us. The warm and friendly welcome and comprehensive explanation of how and in and around the house and surroundings. The decor was above expectations, very cozy and welcoming. You'll feel right at home. Especially the fireplace and woodstove carry this lot. OFF each window was a beautiful view of the high and snowy hills of the Ardennes. The garden is really huge and nicely decorated. as the first guests after the Coronalockdown we were very welcome, even though it was at an hour other than the normal arrival time. This summer, spent a week at La Fleur Des Bois. The week before at home equally telephone contact with the owner, on the day of arrival warmly received by his wife and her daughter. The house is beautiful and very spacious for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Only downside for tall people here and there the headroom: several times properly rebuffed. ☺ The kitchen is fully equipped, satellite TV is present together with a rapid WiFi internet.In the week we were there the weather was terrible, but thanks to the fireplace and a covered barbecue terrace that has the fun bedorven.De garden is huge and beautifully landscaped, the owner was florist and grower. In the environment, within an hour's drive, plenty to do: museums about WWII, caves, towns, water sports facilities, etc. Highly recommended, we found the tour on the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps

Charming historic house with beautiful garden. The new owner is very hospitable. She speaks French, but also understands German and Dutch. On arrival there was beer, wine and apple juice in the fridge and the fire was already lit. Walnuts and biscuits lay in the living room. The house was stylishly brought into the Christmas atmosphere both inside and out. Many games, craft materials and books available in the home. My children enjoyed the foosball game very much. Spacious equipment of the kitchen. Different types of soaps in the washbasins. Too bad that the sewerage of the toilet stinks downstairs. We have talked about it and it will soon be looked at. In and around the house there are several places where you can be fired (also outside under the roof). We have made nice trips to Chateau Reinhardstein and Parc Naturel des Hautes Fagnes. The visit to Baugnez 44 Historical Center was impressive. We bought oliebollen at the Christmas market in Malmédy. Overall a wonderful stay.

The arrival was very nice. A bottle of wine and two local beers in the fridge and when the owner saw that we had children, she filled the fridge with three fruit drinks. Very warm reception. We stay from Christmas to New Years 2016 in this house. The owner gad the house decked with fairy lights and both inside and outside everything into fairytale Christmas star. They had lit dozens of candles on our arrival which arrive here was almost magical. The house is very nice cozy (but large) and everything is there to have a wonderful holiday. Many toys and stuff for kids, a lovely spacious garden with covered terrace and fireplace. The setting is lovely. We will definitely return!
