Beautiful house and also a beautiful location. The park has no facilities, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Therefore, the park is also wonderfully quiet. The forest with walking routes starts 50m behind the house, Limburg slope forests, totally different from the typical Dutch forests. More undergrowth, more elevation differences. There is plenty to see in the region: Three Countries Point, the Abbey of Val Dieu, old war lines, villages, etc. Furthermore, you are 4 km from the Three Countries Point, so the Netherlands and Germany are nearby. The heating of the house is a wood stove, which I find beautiful, a nice fire going and it becomes cozy in the house. The house had everything we needed. One thing is something you need to take into account, the costs that must be paid locally. For a midweek, that was 72 euros. Nothing unexpected, everything as announced. Oh yes, and the host only speaks French, which is quite difficult since my French is not very good.

We had bad weather, but it was nice and warm, the fireplace was already burning when we arrived, absolutely worth repeating. It is a beautiful house and is situated at a beautiful spot in the park, but in the photo there is little vegetation of bushes in front of the house, but in the meantime this has become too much and needs to be pruned because of sun on the terrace and in the house to be able to warm it up on cold days. For older people like us we would have liked a higher bed, a senior toilet height, no low chairs and therefore used the garden chairs. In the living room there could be a good and economical electric heater for people who do not want to stoke a wood stove.

We have had no water since yesterday... a leak in the tank at the park. Water has been shut off at the park because of this. So no water and of course the toilet does not flush. Which caused the five of us to have a problem...

We have booked a midweek to explore the area by motorcycle. The house met our wishes. Everything was neat and tidy. The transfer of the key and the final settlement went smoothly. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We also ordered a towel package from the house for each person.
If I may point out one thing? There was no option to order a bed linen package. That is something I would certainly appreciate, since we, as motorcyclists, have little luggage space. Furthermore, I am very positive and if I go that way again with the motorcycle I will book a house here again.

We were welcomed by a very friendly owner. The owner only speaks French but is very helpful and tries his very best to make sure you understand everything. There is no central heating and you will have to build your own fire. Plenty of wooden logs are provided in a shed at the back of the home. Please note that each wicker basket you fill with the logs will cost you 6 euros. During the colder (winter) periods you will need about a 3 quarters to 1 basket a day. A warm shower and warm water for doing the dishes is provided by means of an electric boiler. All in all we've had a great time (November 2015)!

Nice bungalow in lovely quiet area with beautiful views and the possibility of several beautiful walks in the immediate area. The cottage itself is beautiful and has a private terrace. A lovely cottage in a peaceful and enjoyable holiday. The host was very friendly and helpful. We had beautiful summer weather, so could enjoy the surroundings. The cottage was clean, but very humid. There was a musty, damp air was still return home in our clothes. And not really child friendly, with bunk without protective fence.
