What a nice apartment! Everything was provided to have a great time. The owner responded immediately when you emailed him. In the area, you can do many walks. We also went to Luxembourg and Germany, which were nearby. We would definitely like to come back!

Before the trip, I needed good sleep, and I got it. The shower was refreshing after the day outside, and a TV upstairs provided a good way to relax. The view from the terrace relaxed me very nicely.

The quiet location and the uncomplicated check-in between 4 PM and 6 PM made the stay pleasant. The kitchen was well-equipped, making cooking easy. I checked out on time at 10 AM and felt refreshed for the journey home.

The place was spotlessly clean, well equipped, roomy and the beds were very comfortable. Great kitchen area with hob and real oven. The area was so peaceful and quiet. We were visiting the motor racing at Spa for just two days but the place would make a great base for exploring the Ardennes. Communication from the host was excellent. We did not use the TV, which is small, but the wifi was very strong once I'd figured out which one to log on. One small thing, it would be good if a small bar of soap was provided in the bathroom and some washing up liquid in the kitchen. Also, the Hotels.com listing says bed linen is provided but it is not. We had a message from host saying to bring linen and towels, which was fine as we brought our car but what if we had been flying? Overall, it's a lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of Belgium. We were wrongly stayed in Starry Sky instead. Zilvervosje, which meant that some facilities did not meet expectations such as no freezer compartment in the fridge, no TV in the bedroom and we had wrong bedding. The house was recently renovated and all necessities were present in the kitchen and bathroom; no complaints about that. Some problems to get in since the owners were not present and you first had to know a combination lock before finding the key. Still a consideration; on entering an unpleasant smell, probably from the cellar, the entrance door of which was ajar and could not be closed, fortunately that bad smell was only noticeable in the entrance hall.

We really enjoyed our holiday in the cottage "the starry sky". We had everything we needed. There was an oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and even a dishwasher with a block present. Shops were not very far away, and we could even call a pizza taxi! The beds were certainly okay and big enough, we literally slept under the stars! A TV in the room was not available, only downstairs & the wifi was slow but everything else was fine. The people are very friendly and the surroundings are very beautiful. Also no problem with our German Shepherd, he was allowed in the house and has also amused himself. Thanks to the many tourist books that were on the table, we were able to make many beautiful walks and make memories. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a jar of sweets. We will definitely come back to this loving house!

The house was recently renovated and all necessities were present in the kitchen and bathroom; no complaints about that. Some problems to get in since the owners were not present and you first had to know a combination lock before finding the key. Still a consideration; on entering an unpleasant smell, probably from the cellar, the entrance door of which was ajar and could not be closed, fortunately that bad smell was only noticeable in the entrance hall.

We really enjoyed our holiday in the cottage "the starry sky". We had everything we needed. There was an oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and even a dishwasher with a block present. Shops were not very far away, and we could even call a pizza taxi! The beds were certainly okay and big enough, we literally slept under the stars! A TV in the room was not available, only downstairs & the wifi was slow but everything else was fine. The people are very friendly and the surroundings are very beautiful. Also no problem with our German Shepherd, he was allowed in the house and has also amused himself. Thanks to the many tourist books that were on the table, we were able to make many beautiful walks and make memories. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a jar of sweets. We will definitely come back to this loving house!

Large living space, very quiet with beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Check-in is very smooth with a key box. No direct contact required. We found that there was little light inside, as well as the lack of some basic facilities eg. toilet paper or kitchen roll. More we had brought this ourselves so no problem for us. A vacuum cleaner would also have been useful. A final luxury problem is the very slow Wi-Fi. It was certainly not a bad stay, but not great for us either.
