The house was great! Very lovely fireplace in the living space which makes a good and cozy night with friends great!
Peter Wolfs
Great living & dining area and well-equipped kitchen. The rooms were quite "minimalist"

There is a lot wrong with this “holiday home” and it should be completely rejected!
Below is a small summary of the defects:
- Sewer smell in bedrooms
- 3/4 bedroom doors cannot close
- Plaster is coming loose in bedroom and hallway
- Bed completely sagged
- Bump in the attic floor causing the bed to be out of position
- Trampoline not available
- Garden set is old and broken
- Lots of spider webs throughout the house
- The sealant seam of the bottom of the bath is completely loose
- Bath plug does not fit, so bath unusable
- Radiator is on stones in bedroom
- Radiator in bedroom no button to turn on and off
- Radiators fixed to the wall with tension straps
- BBQ completely rusted and unusable
- There is a scaffolding against the house
- Nettles are super high
- Mold in bathroom
- No ventilation in bathrooms
- Taps are hanging loose
- The power constantly cuts off during cooking
In short: DO NOT BOOK

Large house in a quiet location. But personally we thought it was a lot of money for such a house. It is not very clean and much outdated and bricolated and then we found that we have already had many more houses for a lower price that are completely clean and equipped. There are also nice seats, so ideal for large groups. I'm just afraid we won't be booking it again given the price.

Great holiday home for a large group. The large open space with fireplace and dining table is cozy. The kitchen is sufficient. There are enough bedrooms. The finishing level of the bedrooms in particular is moderate. Doors do not close properly and a refurbishment is not an unnecessary luxury. This also applies to the bathrooms that have been partly renovated but have not been finished. Hygiene can be better. Bedrooms were not all clean (hair in the sink) and the bedding was not 100% clean. The basement with pool table and table football was used a lot by our group. An advantage!

all the necessary things were present kitchen large enough, fridge "s okay only in an annoying place. Room layout completely different than stated on the site, photos are not correct, the basement is very damp smells very musty and not really pleasant to sit in sleeping, the top floor could also use a little renovation. Very old house that could use some renovation, not really user-friendly for people with walking difficulties everywhere stairs / elevations. From the dining / seating / kitchen no direct access to the garden so bbqing is almost impossible. A very nice area to go for a walk.

We stayed a weekend with 14 people. We had a great weekend. The accommodation is very spacious and clean. It is a cozy house and the extra space in the basement is very nice! The owner was ready for us on arrival, so we could enter the house. So highly recommended!

very spacious house, durable materials, a kitchen with more or enough crockery and glasses. Everything worked perfectly from equipment. friendly welcome!

The host Hans met us at the house and made a tour of the house with us and explained everything well. The house is huge and has plenty of room for many people. The kitchen is great and the kitchen block very communicative.

The owner was already waiting for us upon arrival. He came across in a hurry and quickly showed the house. The house looks pretty simple at first sight. I read in the overview: "With great care, the old building has been turned into a modern holiday home for groups." To us it seemed primarily an unfinished project, but with the necessary charm in the living space. However, there are still various unfinished details. Electricity cables that are not yet connected (especially dangerous in the bathroom), socket that has not yet been finished, exterior doors that have not yet been installed and have been temporarily fitted with a wooden panel, accordion doors that are broken, accordion door of the shower that does not fully close may, ... The beds are not all of the same quality. Different mattresses are certainly 10 cm larger than the box spring underneath, with different mattresses you can feel the springs. Fortunately we were only 11 people (instead of the original 14), otherwise it was difficult to find a reasonably good bed for everyone. Everything was not negative. The area is very quiet, you can walk well. You have a billiard table and table football and when the weather is nice you can sit outside. The living room was very cozy with nice accents such as jars that had been converted into luster, bottles converted into lampshades, fireplace, large table, ... In our opinion, a house with a lot of possibilities but not worth repeating today.

Quiet neighborhood, spacious accommodation, unfortunate that you cannot go to the garden from living space.
Carl Blommaert
Very cozy house with the number of bedrooms as a big plus.

Living area and kitchen are ok. Outside area very unkempt. Photos are from years ago. Bedrooms are ok but pillows are a disaster.
A little more attention from the owners to their property would make a world of difference.

We were kindly received by the owners. A short clear explanation of practical matters showed us the way. We could also easily buy wood from the friendly neighbour. The living space is cozy, but the rooms and sanitary facilities could be refreshed. also the cause of the pungent smell coming from the basement really needs to be tackled. We had a very pleasant weekend, made a very nice forest walk from the house, starting from the house. All in all, we thought the house was too expensive for the comfort we got back.
Susan Van Semmertier
The location of the house is really great! It is quiet, within walking distance of a beautiful forest and within driving distance of shops. There is also ample parking space, which is always a plus. The garden is cozy, there is a sitting area and a barbecue. It is a pity that you can not smoothly from the living space to the garden, so we, for example, have kept ourselves to eat outside. The house itself is very spacious, enough rooms and the kitchen is sufficiently equipped with cutlery and the like. The cottage is nicely furnished with nice details but is on the verge of being unfinished.

We had a very nice weekend with a group of friends (colleagues).
Super cozy living space, practical space, spacious kitchen with sufficient materials. The finish could have been a little better here and there, but that didn't make us any less amused!
