Truly an amazing stay in Chalet Vert! Nice Jacuzzi, sauna, and the chalet has all the needs for a perfect vacation (for instance 3 different coffee machines, Senseo, Nespresso and normal filter coffee). There is a barbecue present, and with the Carrefour only 10 minutes out (by car), you can get great meat from the butcher for the barbecue. Also, only a 100 meter walk down, and you have a beautiful lake to swim in (when the weather is nice) and you can also walk around the lake (10km, around 2 hours). Great hostmanship from the owner Jérôme! Everything was fantastic!

It was just us four on vacation, and having two bedrooms worked out well for everyone’s comfort. The living area was also very inviting!

First check before you book this whether there are any military actions!!!! Have been there for a midweek, awakened in the morning by tank shots and machine gun shots, and for dessert all afternoon fighter jets over your roof ... deafening. And that every day . Was not normal. Complained and first put off that they did not know. We inquired with the local people and this is coming back every year, a few weeks in a row ... nothing quiet here. After a lot of hassle and insistence, a small amount was refunded.

The chalet is located in a beautiful, quiet area on the lake. Spacious private parking space. The cottage itself was fine, some things could be repaired / refurbished, but these are only minor drawbacks. We enjoyed the wonderful jacuzzi. The supermarket is also nearby. In short, had a very nice stay in this chalet.

Arrival went very smoothly. Key easy to obtain, were already in the house at 4 pm. Super are the jacuzzi, sauna and the terrace. Bed linen was brought on time and was clean. Keueken is equipped with everything you need. TV is a bit of a search to find the Dutch channels but is ok. Cozy fireplace is an added value in the winter but without using it it is also warm enough. The area is ideal for those who want to enjoy peace and nature. Lake Butgenbach is close by, also a trip to the High Fens can be reached in a short time! Recommended.

What a nice stay we had! We were warmly welcomed by the owner and received a detailed explanation about the house and what to do in the area. The cottage has a nice (pellet) fireplace, good beds, a sauna, a kitchen with all the trimmings, WiFi, and a garden with privacy and a jacuzzi. It is wonderful to walk in the area and our dog also enjoyed it! In the area are charming villages such as Monschau and Malmedy, the Rursee and the city of Liège. So enough to experience. All in all, we'd love to come back.

The chalet is located in a beautiful, quiet area on the lake. Spacious private parking space. The cottage itself was fine, some things could be repaired / refurbished, but these are only minor drawbacks. We enjoyed the wonderful jacuzzi. The supermarket is also nearby. In short, had a very nice stay in this chalet.

stayed there for a week 2pers and dog is a great location near Lake Butgenbach. private parking available, in the summer it is with electric fires, there is also a wood stove. very small bathroom. sauna and jacussi worked well . the address for the gps is wirtzfeld , meulenberg 2 at the triangle there is a sign . key for the chalet is in a box with code which is handy.

First check before you book this whether there are any military actions!!!! Have been there for a midweek, awakened in the morning by tank shots and machine gun shots, and for dessert all afternoon fighter jets over your roof ... deafening. And that every day . Was not normal. Complained and first put off that they did not know. We inquired with the local people and this is coming back every year, a few weeks in a row ... nothing quiet here. After a lot of hassle and insistence, a small amount was refunded.

What a nice stay we had! We were warmly welcomed by the owner and received a detailed explanation about the house and what to do in the area. The cottage has a nice (pellet) fireplace, good beds, a sauna, a kitchen with all the trimmings, WiFi, and a garden with privacy and a jacuzzi. It is wonderful to walk in the area and our dog also enjoyed it! In the area are charming villages such as Monschau and Malmedy, the Rursee and the city of Liège. So enough to experience. All in all, we'd love to come back.

Arrival went very smoothly. Key easy to obtain, were already in the house at 4 pm. Super are the jacuzzi, sauna and the terrace. Bed linen was brought on time and was clean. Keueken is equipped with everything you need. TV is a bit of a search to find the Dutch channels but is ok. Cozy fireplace is an added value in the winter but without using it it is also warm enough. The area is ideal for those who want to enjoy peace and nature. Lake Butgenbach is close by, also a trip to the High Fens can be reached in a short time! Recommended.

Nice house, fully equipped. Delicious enjoyed the sauna and the wood stove. Good beds and nice shower. Nice terrace. Located in a quiet, beautiful rural setting on the edge of the forest. Near the lake. Beautiful hiking and mountain biking area.

stayed there for a week 2pers and dog is a great location near Lake Butgenbach. private parking available, in the summer it is with electric fires, there is also a wood stove. very small bathroom. sauna and jacussi worked well . the address for the gps is wirtzfeld , meulenberg 2 at the triangle there is a sign . key for the chalet is in a box with code which is handy.

First check before you book this whether there are any military actions!!!! Have been there for a midweek, awakened in the morning by tank shots and machine gun shots, and for dessert all afternoon fighter jets over your roof ... deafening. And that every day . Was not normal. Complained and first put off that they did not know. We inquired with the local people and this is coming back every year, a few weeks in a row ... nothing quiet here. After a lot of hassle and insistence, a small amount was refunded.

What a nice stay we had! We were warmly welcomed by the owner and received a detailed explanation about the house and what to do in the area. The cottage has a nice (pellet) fireplace, good beds, a sauna, a kitchen with all the trimmings, WiFi, and a garden with privacy and a jacuzzi. It is wonderful to walk in the area and our dog also enjoyed it! In the area are charming villages such as Monschau and Malmedy, the Rursee and the city of Liège. So enough to experience. All in all, we'd love to come back.
