Overall assessment

We had to pay a deposit of 1,000 euros. This would be refunded after 15 days. This did not happen and we are being ignored. Scandalous.

Beautiful located in the Ardennes. Great house for groups around 20 people, lots of space and a nice large garden in front of the door. But do not get too close to the Alpacas!

beautiful weather and we have enjoyed the best of the garden.

Lovely house! Even in bad weather fine because plenty of room inside. The huge dining table is really a great way with 20 + people still eat together.

Great location for groups. Offers peace and space. Apartments are very well equipped. Almost everything is new and well cared for.

the accommodation is super nice, especially for large groups. You can easily stay in separate groups in separate rooms if needed. The garden is a paradise. You have to drive a bit to get into beautiful walking areas, but that should not spoil the fun. Certainly worth repeating.

Excellent accommodation. We made use of the property with a group of 20 colleagues "to do's. Fine, the device on the ground floor can be used as" playful "are characterized by the layout of the house in three separate renting homes. Some awkward here is that three kitchens are taken separately, may not be too big - make one kitchen use as we then walk together soon in the way the vascular eliminate 20 man gives you some exercise if you do this with the dishwasher. (s) want to do) .Further well - set pretty well, sleeping, washing and toilet area just fine with plenty of privacy spacious outdoor terrace at the back with (very) large garden owner was welcoming -.. then he has retired and let us go about our business verder.Luik is close - to do good to go and taxis are not too expensive single ticket € 20, from -.

Extremely friendly welcome, nice large garden. The 3 small kitchens are less practical for 1 very large group. Furthermore, very well equipped with all kitchen utensils, etc. We have spent a wonderful weekend there. The Walk of the Ninglinspo, 10 km from the accommodation is adventurous and surprising, an incredible recommendation (but not for prams!) We did it with 10 young children and a few strong daddy-shoulders. A visit to Forestia (animal park and climbing trail for all ages) is also a must.

What a wonderful family! The garden was really beautiful when, with the smell of mown grass! With the cows in front of a joy to watch. The long table was perfect for a delicious gourmet, there are also plenty of gourmet set in the house! Also the present games are played boggle! Mine may I 10 p. in the second house bathroom is a nice shower realized that now was a bit difficult. The first bathroom was also delicious! Also good beds (but remove the pool tarp off!) Slaapkemers spacious and lots of privacy! A must!

Whilst the accommodation was of a good size, it wasn't explained fully that there are 3 kitchens and small ovens in each. As we were cooking for 16+ that did make it challenging. We had 2 mornings of no hot water - this was resolved but we need to go and find the owners (who lived onsite) to reset the boiler We had the fire alarms go off for no reason We had a power cut in part of the house We were also all bitten very badly by mosquitoes (perhaps some sprays could be provided) - always go to Europe on holiday and never had an issue in the past (all the guests were badly bitten) I was advised that the owners would contact for a deposit – they did this the day before travelling and requested it in cash. I managed to find an exchange bureau but paid a poor exchange rate which meant that when I got my deposit back it was £50 less than I had paid. It took nearly 4 weeks to receive the deposit back. I contacted both Belvilla and the owners directly and eventually got it but its not acceptable that it took this long (and was £50 less than I had paid as above because of the lateness of requesting it) I also asked if we could have an early checkin – didn’t receive any response from the owner – despite calling, texting and emailing (I contacted Belvilla who eventually got in touch with the owners). They came back and said no because they were hoping to rent out the home in the midweek but we could drop our bags off. Given we were heading straight to Spa we did this to be told we couldn’t drop our bags off We had a good stay and the farmhouse(s) are set on lovely land and the 3 houses give a lot of space but the reality of poor communication and the deposit issue would prevent me from booking this again and would suggest anyone looking at this considers this too

We have been to your holiday home with a group of family.
In itself a good house with a great garden, but we have experienced a number of things that made the stay a lot less pleasant.
1. a toilet that doesn't flush properly
2. A shower won't do
3. Power that was cut off so the ovens didn't work. Has been rectified
3. A fire alarm that has been beeping all night so that 2 people have not slept.
4. But the worst thing is that there was feces in a bed. Really a complete pile of stool. It was discovered while making the bed. it also smelled bad in the room. Incomprehensible but true!!! He almost fell into it.
Then 100 x apologies, but he does not compensate in a small refund of the rent paid. Ridiculous!!!

A top weekend at Le Grand Duc. With 12 adults and 8 children despite the bad weather a lot of fun. Everyone had enough space. We could z "n any of a large table what the atmosphere certainly benefited. The house is not super luxurious but cozy and clean. Nearby is plenty to do. (Especially if the weather is working with. )

We stayed with five families in this lovely holiday. Children (2-13 years) enjoyed themselves in the garden and the house is so big that you can spend without you suffer from one another. Easily with different groups in different rooms And the big long table together to eat (inside or outside) is fantastic. For cyclists, the surroundings are beautiful with quite a lot of challenges in the short distance from the house. Highly recommended.

The contact and reception with the homeowner went smoothly. Great house, very suitable for a large group. Also with a beautiful large garden where you can enjoy the sun until it goes down. Beautiful surroundings, plenty to do.
