In terms of location, house was okay; the heat pump was broken from the pool, so the water was too cold for the first 4 days to use, after that we could use the heated pool for 3 days. There was (due to rainfall water in the basement; overflow fuel tank full of water) a terrible fuel oil smell in the house that gave you a headache and nausea, by opening all the windows you could live in the room, given the temperature outside was 17-20 degrees the evenings very cool inside. House electricity suddenly suddenly went out, apparently already a long-term problem. Lots of home automation that didn't work. Cottage has plenty of space, but the decor in the kitchen was a mess, lots of pans, but everywhere the baking layer was damaged. Refrigerator does not look fresh and closes badly. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 family room with 2 x 1 bed and 1 x 2 person bed, 1 bedroom with 2 x 1 bed and 1 bedroom with 2 bed on the ground floor. The beds are not recommended for less mobile people, they are barely at a height of 40 cm, so getting in and out of bed is difficult. The garden hedge at the pool was not trimmed, so you could not keep an eye on the children from a distance. Jacuzzi was "really" used and contained too much chlorine. Parasols outside need to be replaced! I believe that the green waste container has not been cleaned in years. Conclusion; cottage could have everything for 5 stars, if one took the trouble to maintain everything well, now barely worth 3 stars.

Contacted the homeowner when it appeared that the shutters throughout the week to automatically go up 7:45 in the morning. Effective alarm, but very early on in the holiday. The first impression of the holiday home is beautiful and large, friendly owners and everything looks neat. When you look further and stay longer, there are still some things that urgently need to be replaced. The jacuzzi is dirty and worn. The display is not readable, so you can not put it warmer or change it, the jets are loose and there are all kinds of sharp sides to the seats. The single beds need to be replaced, when you lie in them you roll over to the side where you slept the most because they have sagged a bit. The oven did not work and the fire also heats up very slowly. After we informed the owners of this, they immediately came to install a new oven, but we couldn't use it either as the electricity went out every 10 minutes. We were traveling with four small children. The house itself is quite secluded so we keep the car needed to get outside. Yet this bother us because the house is centrally located to several and varied excursions to do, Borgloon, Sint-Truiden, Tongeren. Little further Genk and Hasselt. Bokrijk, playgrounds, museums, city tours, walks, all adapted to children size. The house itself was large enough for a six all to find peace, inside and out. It was a nice stay especially now that the blossom time was 10 days earlier. The reception was excellent and the stay at the villa supreme best. Both jacuzzi and sauna was simply beautiful, I just think the jacuzzi once serviced thoroughly to operate it anyway supreme best. Unfortunately, my wife sprained her ankle heavily for a walk and had fun there something or something down for her. The grandchild is now asking all already when we go back to the big house.

Fantastic holiday home. Although it is close to other houses, privacy is guaranteed due to the high hedges. There is no toilet on the 1st floor, but is on the ground floor near the stairs. The house is beautiful and spacious, but the facilities are dated. Bed and sofa not comfortable / sat. Swimming pool and jacuzzi are nice but also outdated. Could all use an update. Environment is beautiful.

The arrival was not so great, because the people were too late 35 degrees and a baby of 3 months is not a good combination to wait. The house was beautiful and spacious, but almost half of it was closed. Such as kitchen cupboards, wardrobes and doors. Quiet and beautiful surroundings!

Very friendly reception and excellent explanation. No effort too much! Super pleasant people. Swimming pool was already open. Blessed! Everything very well maintained and sufficient kitchen equipment available. Wonderful walks and bike rides from the house!

Very smooth reception by the parents of the owners, very friendly people who explain everything very well.Large and beautiful house with more than enough space, we only used the kitchen as there was a nice big round table.In the wellness area everything was present and worked very well. Jacuzzi and sauna very good to keep temperature, there was a lot of chlorine in the jacuzzi and the heating of the sauna is in an unfortunate place but otherwise very pleasant
