Good beds, worn bedding. Dirty toilets, broken toilet seat. Contrary to the advertisement, there was bath linen. Kitchen linen minimal and damaged. Dirty kitchen drawers, dirty cutlery. Upon arrival, full dishwasher. Microwave with wiped-off labels and without instructions, so hardly usable. TV not operable due to Russian settings. Lighting broken in the bathroom. A lot of dirt under sofas and beds. Water pressure was so low that showering was almost impossible. We washed our hair in a swimming pool. The owner promised to fix the toilet seat, but it hasn't happened. Tip: felt pads under chairs, wooden chairs scraping over the tiles with all the noise that entails. Before 10 o'clock, the cleaner comes in and starts cleaning while we are still tidying up. Nice large fridge and freezer, spacious kitchen. Upon departure, the electric gate does not open. Thanks to the neighbor, it was resolved after a while. In short, for us once but never again.

The layout of the house is perfect, a plus point that each bedroom had its own bathroom. In the bathrooms, some lights need checking as they don't work, and there is no pressure on the taps. What really bothered us was the hygiene of the kitchen!! It urgently needs a refresh! Cabinets and drawers are dirty and sticky. The oven is not clean!!!! Reported to the owner and hopefully, she has some time to check ALL the cabinets! Aren't fire alarms mandatory?

There is an intense sewage smell in the house, both on the ground floor and in the bedrooms and bathrooms. I had read this criticism beforehand and indeed it is true! The reception was delayed, yet the arrival time was indicated, this went quickly through the daughter (very friendly). The heating failed and thus there was no hot water, just when the weather was much worse (wet and chilly). Had to call back on Saturday evening, they did come then and it turned out to be just a blown fuse, which we couldn't access. Did not see the lady upon departure, could leave the key on the table. In the immediate vicinity there is little to experience but it is a great base for a visit to Leuven and Brussels for example. Unfortunately too busy to visit the sheep farm. Maybe next time.

A perfect and modern furnished house where it is pleasant to stay. During our arrival we were all warmly received by Veerle. A big jar of home-made ice cream welcome :-) The house is spacious, comfortable and clean, but the layout needs some updating. The environment is somewhat noisy (traffic and neighborhood). The house is in a secure enclosed space, it is a plus. Very large holiday home with a spacious bathroom in every room. A huge kitchen and spacious living room. Too bad there is no fence with some bushes or ivy (for the view) on the street side. for the second time to Glabbeek, this time we were there with 3 families, including 2 children and a baby with disabilities. We chose "de Wever" because the sanitary facilities are fantastic. But there were street works and so we got workmen from outside the floor and 2 days later they started working with a grinding disc in the kitchen. Deafening, shrill noise. We would rather have known this beforehand! With a crying baby in the furthest corner of the house crawled and try to appease him. "Fortunately, it took only a good half hour. The workers left the kitchen under a layer of dust and we could follow their footprints to the front door.

The accommodation certainly in order with a large garden for the children. It is a nice area for walks. The only downside (if you can call it a minus) is the street noise, but you also get used to it and could probably be solved with a green plantation along the street.

We were very satisfied. A big clean house with lots of space. Everything in order. Even towels were on site. The welcome was friendly and there was even a gift basket. After Leuven it was about 30 minutes.

The reception was delayed, yet the arrival time was indicated, this went quickly through the daughter (very friendly). The heating failed and thus no hot water, just when the weather was much worse (wet and chilly). Had to call back on Saturday evening, they did come then and it was simply due to a blown fuse, which we couldn't access. Did not see the lady upon departure, could leave the key on the table. Furthermore, a good accommodation with comfort. Recommended!

There is an intrusive sewage smell in the house, both on the ground floor and in the bedrooms and bathrooms. I had read this criticism beforehand, and indeed it is true! The rooms are spacious, but the vacation home is in need of renovation. Dirty walls, showers with rust and mold formation. Too bad... During our stay, we constantly had to ventilate the house by opening the windows to let in fresh air to reduce the odor nuisance.

for the second time to Glabbeek, this time we were there with 3 families, including 2 children and a baby with disabilities. We chose "de Wever" because the sanitary facilities are fantastic. But there were street works and so we got workmen from outside the floor and 2 days later they started working with a grinding disc in the kitchen. Deafening, shrill noise. We would rather have known this beforehand! With a crying baby in the furthest corner of the house crawled and try to appease him. "Fortunately, it took only a good half hour. The workers left the kitchen under a layer of dust and we could follow their footprints to the front door.
