for the second time to Glabbeek, this time we were there with 3 families, including 2 children and a baby with disabilities. We chose "de Wever" because the sanitary facilities are fantastic. But there were street works and so we got workmen from outside the floor and 2 days later they started working with a grinding disc in the kitchen. Deafening, shrill noise. We would rather have known this beforehand! With a crying baby in the furthest corner of the house crawled and try to appease him. "Fortunately, it took only a good half hour. The workers left the kitchen under a layer of dust and we could follow their footprints to the front door.

Super friendly reception by the owner of the house. Despite much information about the environment in the house is present, they also inquired again in person about the doings were in the area. Beautiful house with all the trimmings. Everything plenty available for 8 people. Large kitchen where we socialize with z 'n all cooked without getting in each others way. Great living space divided into dining and sitting area. Everyone has good sleep thanks to the comfortable beds and what a luxury that each bedroom has its own bathroom toilet. we walked, shopped in the nearby village of Tienen where we have an afternoon gewommen in the indoor pool, nothing special but prima.Verder we went to Leuven and Hasselt and a second visit in the planning because we are far from being bored and like to visit this place again.

Receiving Veerle (the hostess) was very cordial, there was even a basket of local ready for us. The house is fantastic, spacious, nicely decorated, fully equipped. Especially the large, fully equipped kitchen is superb. The bedrooms and beds are fine and in each bedroom has a private bathroom genot.Wij have made day trips and the cities of Leuven, Meghelen and Brussels are all within reach. Furthermore, it is in a quiet (rural), nice omgeving.Wij very much enjoyed our stay at Weaver.

Accommodation: Beautiful house with every comfort. A minus point is the small hob for large pots and pans in the kitchen. In the vicinity there is nothing to see. It is a good base to visit Leuven, Tienen, Bokrijk, etc.

The accommodation certainly in order with a large garden for the children. It is a nice area for walks. The only downside (if you can call it a minus) is the street noise, but you also get used to it and could probably be solved with a green plantation along the street.

A perfect and modern furnished house where it is pleasant to stay. During our arrival we were all warmly received by Veerle. We were invited to her on the farm to feed the newly born lambs with the bottle. Kids loved it. Beds were fantastic. Rarely slept so well on a holiday address. Beautiful location in Glabbeek to go to Leuven (by bike) or take a trip to Scherpenheuvel or Diest. From Tienen you can reach Brussels in 40 minutes by train. A nice added bonus is that De Wever has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Recommended!

Very nice stay. Not super luxurious but neat. Perfect for groups because everyone has their own bathroom. Too bad about the air from the crawl space that rises in the kitchen. Further great.

Take a spacious restored house with large bedrooms and contemporary sanitary facilities. Stop there 2x grandpa and 2x grandma plus 3 grandchildren. We were well received by the owner and she gave us a good explanation. The holiday home is fine with plenty of amenities. In particular, the bedrooms with good beds and private bathrooms are a plus. During our stay we visited some cities and it was never far away.

Beautiful, spacious house with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms. Large kitchen with facilities for cooking for large groups. Car needed to do errands and make trips. Direct environment very rural. Glasbeek itself does not represent much, on the other hand Diest, Leuven and Sint Truien are nearby and interesting. Friendly reception.

Visited this beautiful property for the third time. Nice welcome from the always friendly Veerle. Thanks for the ice cream! Large bedrooms with spacious bathrooms. Large kitchen with an abundance of appliances, pans, cutlery and crockery. Spacious lounge and dining room. Large terrace and parking on site. Nice neighbors. In the immediate vicinity there is little to experience but it is a great base for a visit to Leuven and Brussels for example. Unfortunately too busy to visit the sheep farm. Maybe next time.

Very large holiday home with a spacious bathroom in every room. A huge kitchen and spacious living room. Too bad there is no fence with some bushes or ivy (for the view) on the street side. Now you seem to be on the street when you sit on the terrace. Also a somewhat strange situation to share the driveway and garden with people (who sometimes do a bit strange) who live there permanently and are not the owners. The visit to the sheep farm (a little further) by the owner was fantastic!

The reception of the host was very friendly. The house is fantastic, spacious and fully equipped. Especially the large, fully equipped kitchen is superb. The bedrooms and beds are fine and each bedroom has its own bathroom is a delight. We were three couples and have made trips to Leuven and Brussels. The house is located in a rural and beautiful surroundings. There is a car for groceries (about 5 km). We very much enjoyed our stay at the Wever and already booked again.

We have our family (7 people) had a great holiday. The house met all our expectations, the kitchen was complete, the beds were good and there was plenty of seating at the banks and at the dinner table. The house is centrally located so that the trips are not too far (Leuven, Brussels, Mechelen, etc.). There is a car for groceries (5 km).

A big jar of home-made ice cream welcome :-) The house is spacious, comfortable and clean, but the layout needs some updating. The environment is somewhat noisy (traffic and neighborhood). The house is in a secure enclosed space, it is a plus. Beautiful walks from the house, and many possible excursions (Averbode, Diest for example) and many breweries, distilleries and vineyards: many tastings possible!

We were warmly welcomed by the landlord. Spacious house, fully equipped with every comfort. Also 2 cots and 2 high chairs available. We were also invited by the landlords to their sheep farm to admire the lambs.

Very friendly welcome with a basket of local produce, very nice. A beautiful house with four beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms, fully equipped, large sitting room with comfortable sofas and chairs, large kitchen and lots of crockery and glassware. We were very sorry that the description did not state that there was a permanent tenant attached to the house and also stayed on the same property, so we had to constantly keep an eye on our dog .. if we had known this we would have not booked . We are very attached to our privacy and especially if we have a 3 day holiday to rest. Must be mentioned.

The house offers many assets such as the beautiful region where it is located and the surface and equipment, only regrettably a number of shortcomings and defects that disturbed us, such as the penetrating sewage air that regularly penetrated the house and the lack of some maintenance especially the bathrooms with mold on the silicone joints, a cracked floor and broken trash cans everywhere as a result. It would also be useful if the necessary manuals were available for the devices. An adapted covered bicycle shed is also recommended in a real "cycling region". It is not really recommended.

The accommodation was very good. A bit of a shame that also someone lives who shares the same entrance and driveway. This was a little annoying for the dog we had, not for us but the neighbors did not always appreciate this.

voor de tweede maal naar Glabbeek, deze keer waren wij er met 3 families, waaronder 2 kinderen en een baby met beperkingen. Wij kozen voor 'de Wever' omdat de sanitaire voorzieningen er fantastisch zijn. Maar er waren straatwerken en zo kregen wij werkvolk van buiten over de vloer en 2 dagen later zijn zij met een slijpschijf in de keuken aan de slag gegaan. Oorverdovend, snerpend lawaai. Dit hadden wij toch liever op voorhand geweten ! Met een huilende baby in 't verste hoekje van het huis gekropen en hem proberen te sussen. 't Heeft gelukkig maar een goed half uur geduurd. De werkmannen lieten de keuken achter onder een laagje stof en we konden hun voetsporen tot aan de voordeur volgen.

Supervriendelijk ontvangst door de eigenaresse van de woning. Ondanks dat er veel informatie over de omgeving in het huis aanwezig is, informeerde zij ons ook nog eens persoonlijk over het doen en laten in de omgeving. Prachtig huis met alles erop en eraan. Alles ruim voldoende aanwezig voor 8 personen. Grote keuken waar we gezellig met z'n allen gekookt hebben zonder elkaar in de weg te lopen. Prima leefruimte onderverdeeld in eet- en zitgelegenheid. Iedereen heeft heerlijk geslapen mede door de fijne bedden en wat een luxe dat elke slaapkamer een eigen badkamer heeft mét toilet. We hebben gewandeld, boodschappen gedaan in het nabijgelegen dorpje Tienen waar we ook een middag hebben gewommen in het binnenbad, niets bijzonders maar prima. Verder zijn we naar Leuven en Hasselt geweest en hebben een tweede bezoek al in de planning want we zijn nog lang niet uitgekeken en komen graag op deze plek terug.

De ontvangst van Veerle (de gastvrouw) was erg hartelijk, er stond zelfs al een mand met streekproducten voor ons klaar. Het huis is fantastisch, ruim, gezellig ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. Met name de grote, compleet ingerichte keuken is super. De slaapkamers en de bedden zijn prima en bij elke slaapkamer een eigen badkamer is een genot. Wij hebben dagtripjes gemaakt en de steden Leuven, Meghelen en Brussel zijn allemaal binnen handbereik. Verder ligt het in een rustige (landelijke), mooie omgeving. Wij hebben erg van ons verblijf in de Wever genoten.

De accommodatie wat zeker in orde met een grote tuin voor de kindjes. Het is een mooie omgeving om wandelingen te maken. Het enige minpuntje ( als ge het een minpuntje kunt noemen) is het straatlawaai, maar daar komt ge ook aan gewend en zou waarschijnlijk kunnen opgelost worden met een groene aanplanting langs de straatafsluiting.

Een perfecte en modern ingerichte woning waar het aangenaam verblijven is. Tijdens onze aankomst werden wij aller hartelijks ontvangen door Veerle. Wij werden uitgenodigd bij haar op de boerderij om de pas geboren lammetjes te voeren met de fles. Kids vonden het geweldig. Bedden waren fantastisch. Zelden zo goed geslapen op een vakantieadres. Zou je kiezen voor deze woning dan weet maar 1 ding, je maakt een juiste keuze.

Prachtige locatie in Glabbeek om (op de fiets) naar Leuven te gaan of een uitstapje te maken naar Scherpenheuvel of Diest. Vanuit Tienen ben je in 40 minuten met de trein in Brussel. Een fijne bijkomstigheid is ook dat De Wever beschikt over vier ruime slaapkamers met ieder een eigen badkamer. Een aanrader!

Neem een ruime gerestaureerde woning met grote slaapkamers en eigentijds sanitair.Stop daarin 2x opa en 2x oma plus 3 kleinkinderen.Zorg voor schitterend weer en je verblijf wordt onvergetelijk.De eigenares is zeer aangenaam en zorgt voor alle mogelijke inlichtingen over de streek.Er wordt al nagedacht over een volgend verblijf.

We werden prima ontvangen door de eigenaresse en ze gaf ons een goede uitleg. Het vakantiehuis is prima met ruim voldoende voorzieningen. Met name de slaapkamers met goede bedden en een eigen badkamer is een pluspunt. Tijdens ons verblijf hebben we enkele steden bezocht en het was nooit ver rijden.

Mooi, ruim huis met 4 slaapkamers en badkamers. Grote keuken met voorzieningen om te koken voor grote groepen. Auto nodig om boodschappen te doen en uitstapjes te maken. Directe omgeving heel landelijk. Glasbeek zelf stelt niet veel voor, daarentegen zijn Diest, Leuven en Sint Truien in de buurt en wel interessant. Vriendelijke ontvangst.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen en kregen bij aankomst zelfs een heerlijke mand met streekproducten aangeboden. We genoten van de ruime, luxueuze accommodatie met grote tuin en de prachtige omgeving die veel mogelijkheden bood voor mooie wandelingen tussen de boomgaarden.

Voor de derde keer een bezoek gebracht aan deze mooie accommodatie. Fijne ontvangst van de altijd vriendelijke Veerle. Bedankt voor het ijs! Grote slaapkamers met ruime badkamers. Grote keuken met een overvloed aan apparatuur, pannen, bestek en serviesgoed. Ruime zit- en eetkamer. Groot terras en parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein. Aardige buren. In de directe omgeving is weinig te beleven maar het is een prima uitvalsbasis voor bijvoorbeeld een bezoek aan Leuven en Brussel. Helaas te druk geweest om de schapenboerderij te bezoeken. Misschien een volgende keer.

Heel grote vakantiewoning met bij elke kamer een ruime badkamer. Een mega grote keuken en ruime woonkamer. Jammer dat er geen afsluiting met bijv wat struiken of klimop (voor het zicht) is aan de straatkant. Nu lijk je op straat te zitten als je op het terras zit. Ook een wat vreemde situatie om de oprit en tuin te delen met mensen (die soms wat vreemd doen) die daar permanent wonen en niet de eigenaars zijn. Het bezoek aan de schapenboerderij (iets verderop) van de eigenares was fantastisch!

De ontvangst van de gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk. Het huis is fantastisch, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Met name de grote, compleet ingerichte keuken is super. De slaapkamers en de bedden zijn prima en bij elke slaapkamer een eigen badkamer is een genot. Wij waren met 3 stellen en hebben dagtripjes gemaakt naar Leuven en Brussel. Het huis ligt het in een landelijke, mooie omgeving. Er is wel een auto nodig voor de dagelijkse boodschappen (ca 5 km). Wij hebben erg van ons verblijf in de Wever genoten en inmiddels alweer geboekt.

Letterlijk en figuurlijk een groots vakantiehuis. Alle comfort aanwezig. Iedere kamer een eigen badkamer geeft voor iedereen een relaxed gevoel. Aanrader voor koppels of een mix van grootouders, kinderen en kleinkinderen. Centraal gelegen tussen Belgische beroemde steden.

Wij hebben met ons gezin (7 personen) een prima vakantie gehad. Het huis voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen de keuken was compleet, de bedden lagen goed en er was voldoende zitruimte op de banken en aan de eettafel. Het huis ligt centraal zodat de uitstapjes niet te ver zijn (Leuven, Brussel, Mechelen, etc.). Er is wel een auto nodig voor de dagelijkse boodschappen (ca. 5 km).

Un gros pot de crème glacée "maison" en bienvenue :-) La maison est spacieuse, confortable et propre, mais l'aménagement aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. L'environnement est quelque peu bruyant (circulation et voisinage). La maison se trouve dans un espace clos sécurisé, c'est un +. Belles promenades au départ de la maison, et nombreuses excursions possibles (Averbode, Diest par exemple) et nombreuses brasseries, distilleries et vignobles : beaucoup de dégustations possibles !

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door de verhuurder. Ruime woning, volledig uitgerust alle comfort aanwezig. Ook 2 kinderbedjes en 2 kinderstoelen aanwezig. We werden door de verhuurders ook uitgenodigd op hun schapenboerderij om de lammetjes te bewonderen.

Erg prettig ontvangst met een mandje streekproducten, erg leuk. Een mooi huis met vier mooie slaapkamers met badkamers, van alle gemakken voorzien, grote zitkamer met comfortabele banken en stoelen, grote keuken en heel veel serviesgoed en glaswerk. Omgeving is erg gemoedelijk en dichtbij Leuven, een geweldig leuke en gezellige stad!

Wij vonden het erg jammer dat er in de omschrijving niet bij stond dat er een vaste huurder aan het huis vast zat en ook op hetzelfde terrein verbleef waardoor we onze hond toch constant in de gaten moesten houden .. als we dit geweten hadden hadden we het niet geboekt . Wij zijn erg gehecht aan onze privacy en zeker als we naar 3 dagen vakantie hebben om even uit te rusten . Moet er wel bij vermeld worden .

Het huis biedt heel wat troeven zoals de prachtige streek waar het ligt en de oppervlakte en uitrusting, alleen spijtig van een aantal tekorten en gebreken die ons toch wel stoorden zoals de toch wel indringende rioollucht die regelmatig doordrong in het huis en het gebrek aan wat onderhoud van vnl. de badkamers met schimmelvorming op de siliconenvoegen, een gebarsten vloer en overal kapotte vuilnisbakjes tot gevolg. Het ware ook handig dat van de toestellen de nodige handleidingen ter beschikking zouden zijn. Ook een aangepaste overdekte fietsenstalling is toch wel aangewezen in een echte 'fietsstreek'. Een echte aanrader is het niet echt.

Wij hebben 4 dagen in het huis doorgebracht met ons team van 4 personen. We hebben genoten van de luxe kamers, prive-badkamers en de grote keuken. Echt een mooi huis wat ik iedereen kan aanraden. Ook geschikt voor bijvoorbeeld twee families.

De accommodatie was zeer goed. Een beetje jammer dat daarnaast ook iemand woont die dezelfde ingang en oprit deelt. Dit was een beetje vervelend voor de hond die we mee hadden, niet voor ons maar de buren stelden dit niet altijd op prijs.
