The house is certainly spacious enough for 8 people (6 adults + 2 children). It's just a pity that 1 toilet is located in the small bathroom on the ground floor and the toilet in the basement did not function 100%. Very spacious garden, but it's a shame that it is not fully enclosed on the side of the horse pasture. There is a possibility that small dogs could get out. Also, there were problems with the gate on the street side; we could not close it completely. It is great that there is a jacuzzi and sauna available. Also books, games, and certainly enough kitchenware available. Definitely a recommendation to stay with friends/family, and with some adjustments, this can certainly become a top stay.

We had such a great time at Le Beau Souvenir! The house is huge, and there was more than enough space for our group of 8. I loved the large garden and the covered terrace, perfect for barbecues. The location is super quiet, and we made some great walks nearby. The only hiccup was the key transfer, but the owner was relaxed about it, so all good. Overall, clean, cozy, and worth every penny!

The maintenance and cleaning of this accommodation left much to be desired. Large flakes of dust were under the bed, the railing of the terrace was green due to deposits, and the bathroom window barely opened anymore due to rust. Furthermore, we had a friendly reception and a pleasant stay, but this accommodation urgently needs major maintenance.

Good evening,
Two days ago the following was already sent to Jacqueline and unfortunately nothing has been heard from you. The linen was brought but cleaning was not done. To make our stay more pleasant, we took care of the cleaning ourselves. This took us 2.5 hours with 4 people. It looks a lot fresher now and the cobwebs are mostly gone. We did find dirty socks in a wardrobe and dirty glasses in the bathroom. That indicates how it was cleaned. The bottom of the toilet seat was also forgotten…
The shower downstairs is currently flooded, this is an acute problem and we would like to see it resolved. We must be able to use it with our company.

The message from the day before yesterday:
Good evening. We would like to see at least 1 set of new bedding tomorrow because it is dirty and broken. (you have to pay 10.50 per set for this) I would also like someone to come and vacuum the downstairs bedroom and the kitchen is really dirty. Especially the heating and the extractor hood. There are still old cookies and crumbs everywhere in the cupboards and drawers and there is mold in the refrigerator, as well as the window frame in the dining room. The customer finally cleaned the shower drain on December 26 and indicated that we must file a complaint with you for a refund. They could do nothing about this. They did not clean anything else. We emptied the overfull vacuum cleaner ourselves before we could use it, but the filter had never been cleaned. It is old and in need of maintenance, but that is quite acceptable, it just doesn't have to be dirty.
We would like to receive a compensation for at least the 2.5 hours of cleaning with 4 people. There was also the discomfort of this situation

Nice and spacious, the dogs can run outside in the large garden. The house is a bit dated, a small downside is that the garden does not extend to the river. For the rest wonderfully quiet.

The cottage is a very nice house with enough entertainment for everyone! Very spacious living room, enough kitchenware, spacious bedrooms, beautiful view of the Ourthe and meadows and the house has a quiet location. You are sure to have a nice time! However, the house could use a good makeover; the shutters of the bedrooms have not been cleaned for a while, the curtains were half hung and especially the beds are due for renewal. The property certainly has potential but it needs better care.

We have had a good time here. The day of arrival was asked by the owner to call an hour in advance and to indicate the approximate time of arrival. We were an hour early but were allowed to come through to the house anyway. When we arrived we were kindly welcomed by the owner. We got a tour of the house + explanation about jacuzzi and sauna in Dutch. The house inside was equipped with every luxury! There was also a lot of stuff in the kitchen. There were many board games in Dutch. There was even a Christmas tree when we arrived with lights! Very cozy! The owner is ready to help you if you have a problem with something in the house. Exterior seems outdated but not a problem for us. Inside, it is very cosily furnished with beautiful and comfortable items. The only downside I can give is that the mattresses need to be renewed. We came for the rest and to enjoy each other, we certainly succeeded! The kids loved the jacuzzi! I would definitely want to come back!

We may have set our expectations too high. house was a bit disappointing. house is not well maintained. There is an urgent need for refresh and maintenance work. many light switches no longer work or no light fixture is connected to them. In the living room you can only illuminate with the two floor lamps, one of which was also broken. restored by myself and put another lamp in. with 2 roller shutters of the bedrooms, the roll-up system does not work, so the roller shutters had to remain open. 1 retractor also repaired by myself. when a house is suitable for 8 people, you can expect that there are enough glasses of all kinds for 8, drinking lemonade or wine from a tea glass is not that tasty. The lounge set outside has holes in the wicker and the cushions are just dirty and have mold stains. The cushions were simply wrapped in plastic foil on the floor of the garage upon arrival. The property certainly has potential but needs better care from the owner. The view of the Ourthe and meadows is very nice and the house has a quiet location.

This holiday home is rented as being ON the river Ourthe. After all, the Belvilla website literally says: 0 meters to the water! When booking the house, it is NOT clear at all that the garden of the holiday home is NOT adjacent to the Ourthe, but to a horse meadow that the owner of the horses / meadow does not allow you to pass (even if there are no horses there!) . The owner of the horse pasture went completely overboard while we did not do anything wrong, destroyed or whatever. There were no horses or other livestock. We just walked to the waterfront. We didn't leave a mess or damage nature. There were threats that power would be applied to the fence and that the police would be called. Really ridiculous! We were yelled at. A normal conversation was not even possible. Also our apologies (for what??!!) were not accepted. According to the owners of the horse pasture, this has happened several times, including with previous tenants of the holiday home. Incidentally, the boys from the scouting are allowed to swim through the meadow to the waterfront. Why measure with two standards...... We feel hugely cheated by Belvilla. On the Belvilla website there are pictures of a huge garden on the Ourthe and is therefore literally 0 meters to the river. One has "forgotten" to mention that you can only look at the Ourthe from the house! so not without a lot of hassle and threats come!Really very unfortunate.We were just looking forward to this holiday home because we want to swim with the dog and want to fish in the backyard of the holiday home.This is also the reason why we have such a high have paid the rental amount for this holiday.This now appears to be wasted money.The Belvilla guarantee that you can blindly rely on the house presentations is therefore not correct with this holiday.The contact person (Jacqueline) who handed us the key on arrival has noted that said that if g

A spacious and well equipped holiday home with lots of privacy. The house is in a beautiful spot with beautiful views. Nice that the owners speak Dutch. The kitchen is dated but well equipped! The fridge and freezer are really too small for a house of 8 people. For 4 people the refrigerator was already too small. Tip in the "basement" is enough space for another fridge-freezer! The dryer is no longer in optimal condition, but the owners gave it to watch. The mattresses are also in need of replacement ... From the jacuzzi and sauna is optimal use- a real relaxation! For the animal lovers we have seen many birds of prey in the backyard, squirrels and the day before departure we even had to catch a mouse in the bedroom ... Also in the area is enough wild spotting.All in all a very nice holiday in beautiful surroundings!

A lot of privacy around the house. We stayed in the jacuzzi until 0500 at night, and we were fortunate that Leonid's meteorite swarm came by. So many shooting stars that you do not know what to wish for at a given moment! Nice man who introduced the house. Beds well, only the pillows are absurdly thick, they are real neck sneakers. Here and there it was grubby. Showerheads must be cleaned, taps leak. I'm glad there are two lounges. So everyone can take its course. the dining table has a separate chassis bugging you have when you sit at the table. the dining table seats are not lekker.Fijn that the owners speak Dutch.
