the reception was strictly according to corona rules only one person with a mouth mask was allowed in. Now we had no problems with that, unfortunately once inside it was clear quickly. Hygiene and cleanliness were not highly regarded (80 € cleaning costs??) also the layout and atmosphere ( a small reference to Christmas) was nil. Once upstairs it turned out that the door could not close at two bedrooms? .......... so highly recommended NO more words should not be made DIRTY here

Have had two wonderful weeks in this nice house! We were welcomed by the owner. We did not speak French, but you are coming together everywhere and it was clear. The cottage is just the same as in the pictures! Lots of space, cozy and everything you need. The garden is lovely and we could sit in the sun from morning till evening. You can use for a fee, there is a lot to do in the area, the village itself does not matter, there is a new swing device within walking distance. We were here with 2 young children (3y and 9mnd) and many can walk with kids in the Carrying bag, went to Monde Sauvage (wildlife park), swam at Maboge beach, climbing ruins, indoor playground and much more. In the house there are many leaflets of sights, but you can also enjoy the rest here! Great with a washing machine, cot, chair and playground in the garden)

A beautiful and modern home! We arrived a little early, but after a call the house owner arrived immediately. He speaks French and was very helpful. Show the property and explain where necessary. The property has everything you need. The sauna is very tasty. And the lawn at the back is very nice for the kids.We have been to Houffalize and La Roche. Unfortunately, it was not the best weather and many shops were closed this week, but we have been enjoying ourselves.

The place is fantastic! Unfortunately, this villa is not good quality building. There was a leak. And the burning of the wood stove was a lot of smoke from the exhaust channel in the living room. The house itself is in order, spacious and nice and warm. However, when we arrived it was not clean. We have all been cleaning for an hour with 6 people. The kitchen was not clean, dirty fridge, cutlery, crockery and glasses, we had to clean everything. The dishwasher is not good, does not clean well. The bottom drawer of the dishwasher is not seated properly and the door bends. Further; grease and dust everywhere downstairs (on lamps, on cupboards). Bathroom downstairs; not good to get warm and the drainage of the shower tray not in order, water drains badly. The doors to the bedrooms don't close, the doors don't seem to fit into the window frames. The beds are good however the mattress protectors are dirty and worn. The sauna was not working. The closet doors all had dirty fingerprints on them, the handles and light switches all over the house were greasy. Basically, we cleaned it all on arrival. I have contacted the landlord to request a refund of the 80 euros already paid cleaning costs in cash, she asked for photos of the pollution. I sent these, I have not heard anything from her since, even after I had sent her 2 x had sent a reminder. The crockery is in urgent need of replacement. Especially the cups and mugs, almost everything is damaged and it is all a pile of junk. Many a thrift store has better crockery! I had already read bad reviews under this house, but I had expected that the landlord would have done something with it by now. That is not the case. I go to a house in the Ardennes every year in the fall, I have never encountered such a dirty interior and also because of non-working facilities (sauna, dishwasher) I would not recommend this house, for this price you can get much better accommodations!

We had a wonderful holiday. The weather was excellent so that helps. It is a beautiful spacious villa so everyone had enough space. We were well received and communication during the stay was also in order! Of course I would also like to mention the less good things. The door also shoots open so you can sometimes hurt yourself. Have a technician make this and it bolts new right away... Small effort in my opinion. - You will be prompted to sort. No problem at all. But they only supply 1 bag of each. We are in the villa with 8 people and eat and drink there in the afternoon and evening. So there was way too much washing up for these bags. They can safely put a number of bags somewhere so that this problem does not arise. We sent a message and they delivered 2 extra bags for green waste, but you have to walk for it again.... - The rooms are fine. Only in the summer you are awake together with the light. Wonderfully quiet location! When we even got 20cm of snow it was a real winter wonderland. Fine wood stove. Only minus is that there is a pump running 24/7 that you hear in the house. Beautiful and functional house, few kilometers from Houffalize in the village Willogne. The house is new, nicely decorated and in a beautiful location on the outskirts of the village. The caretaker, who lives opposite the house, was extremely helpful and friendly, despite my poor French, we understood each other. The environment I can not say too much about it as we were in the week of dramatic weather in Europe and 5 days continuously snowing (end of April), so much outside we have not been. One walk towards the forest (towards Wibrin) that we did, I did notice that there is, especially for the Ardennes where I never saw dirt roadside unusual amount of debris lying along the road, in the form of plastic soda bottles, plastic bags, which is a shame given the beautiful scenery, which you come. Another point of attention is, that if the wind "wrong" position, can hear the sound of the highway which lies a kilometer away, one will notice it, the other does not. We, 7 friends and a baby, had a nice stay and a great weekend. From the house we were unfortunately a bit disappointed. At first glance, everything is great and the decor is nice. After 2 phone calls (in French) was brought and we were neatly guided around the house by a French speaking lady who also speaks a little Dutch. The cottage is in principle very nice but there are still some comments to place. Not to complain or to shout. We had a very nice holiday. However, I think that the cottage is intended for a stay of a few days. We were there with 6 people for 2 weeks and a few days with 8 people.What you actually do miss is a washing machine. The connections are there but the device is missing. But we knew it beforehand so we had enough clothes with it and have done a hand wash now and then. The waste is collected separately and we have done it neatly. But you can not lose it then. There is no container. And with 6 people you can collect a lot of waste in 2 weeks. It is annoying that you then have to ask the landlord to pick up the rubbish and bring new bags. Especially if you then again report that you actually have to do with 2 bio bags while we eventually needed 4. However, it was not super clean. Dust flakes under the bed and in some places some cobwebs. All not a drama but you pay € 80 cleaning costs. It could actually be slightly neater. The village itself represents really nothing voor.Plaatsen as Durbuy, La Roche, Bouillon (medieval festivals) Bastogne are worth visiting. And canoeing is worthwhile for young and old!

Lovely and good holiday home, enjoy the quiet and beautiful surroundings. A point for improvement is that there may be some more glassware, and the shower drain (bagane floor) did not run very well. We had a wonderful holiday. The weather was excellent so that helps. It is a beautiful spacious villa so everyone had enough space. We were well received and communication during the stay was also in order! Of course I would also like to mention the less good things. I should have read the reviews a little better beforehand because that does help .... I'm certainly not a nitpicker, but I want to mention these points anyway. - The house was not really clean. It was clean at first sight, but when you put your stuff there and start cooking, you see that not everything is really clean. The cupboards were dirty. Dirty glasses, cutlery, ... We first had to wash this before we could start. None of that is a problem for us, but I think 80 EUR for a cleaning is a lot. Then you expect it to be spick and span ... - The dishwasher is a bit defective. The door opens way too far down and you have trouble rolling the bottom drawer out and in. The door also shoots open so you can sometimes hurt yourself. Have a technician make this and it bolts new right away... Small effort in my opinion. - You will be prompted to sort. No problem at all. But they only supply 1 bag of each. We are in the villa with 8 people and eat and drink there in the afternoon and evening. So there was way too much washing up for these bags. They can safely put a number of bags somewhere so that this problem does not arise. We sent a message and they delivered 2 extra bags for green waste, but you have to walk for it again.... - The rooms are fine. Only in the summer you are awake together with the light. There are simply no blackout curtains. There are shutters (in some rooms just white ones) that let the light through completely. This really shouldn't be allowed... We, 7 friends and a baby, had a nice stay and a great weekend. From the house we were unfortunately a bit disappointed. At first glance, everything is great and the decor is nice. Unfortunately, this is not carefully maintained. To see that is really sad, because it is a nice house. Lampshades are missing, the large bathroom can only be used for bathing, because the floor must not get wet, otherwise the water will come through the ceiling. The shower in the small bathroom does not drain, so you always have to wait, so that no flood. The bedroom doors are warped and partially not closed. Faucets are partly rusty. The lawn was not mowed and the grill was not cleaned. The departure was very uncomplicated and Julie was also friendly. The welcome, however, was very heartless. No information was provided about the area or destinations. If the house would get a bit more love and care it would be great! All in all, nevertheless recommendable.

Upon arrival, the first thing to notice was how spacious it is. The accommodation is very spacious, practically furnished and the quality is quite good. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet.

The house is comfortable, well designed. Still some dishes should be renewed, as there were a few broken glasses and plates. The hostess is very sicked and demanding - it is not possible to relax, you need to check the time like being in a hurry to catch a plane. Sauna functions, but not so good.

We had arrived earlier than arrival time mentioned but Mrs was in the house next door inside and it was not a problem. The key was reached and our vacation could begin. A beautiful house with everything on it. A lovely garden where you can enjoy the beautiful walks you can make there. One of the best recommendations is the chocolate factory Cyril in Samree, very nice people !!

The kitchen utensils could be expanded a bit and the crockery is somewhat dilapidated .. there are also some appliances that need replacing, including a TV that is way too small. If you have to sit inside for a week, this really doesn't stand a chance. Location and space a big 10!

Upon arrival we were given a tour of the cottage, in French. That is not our strong point and she went for it in English if we did not quite understand it. The house is exactly as it is in the picture. The beds were lovely, and a nice bathroom and sauna make it complete. If we want to visit this area again, we would certainly go for this house. It was perfect in terms of decor.

The house does not fully meet our expectations. The house was definitely not cleaned properly and looked like it hadn't been used for weeks. There were cobwebs galore (Both inside and out). There was insufficient kitchen equipment and supplies for 8 people. The beds in the photo were not there. The bath on the first floor was unusable. The water supply of the bath blocked every few minutes. Very unpleasant with small children who urgently need a bath. No shower tap on the bath on the 1st floor. We did not feel welcome on arrival. We are absolutely not satisfied.

A beautiful and modern home! We arrived a little early, but after a call the house owner arrived immediately. He speaks French and was very helpful. Show the property and explain where necessary. The property has everything you need. The sauna is very tasty. And the lawn at the back is very nice for the kids.We have been to Houffalize and La Roche. Unfortunately, it was not the best weather and many shops were closed this week, but we have been enjoying ourselves.
