The house was not clean. We are really not difficult, but we could hardly see through the windows so dirty. In every corner (up and down) there were spider webs. If there is water on the floor in the bathroom, the drops come down in the living room because there is not properly sealed. The same with the sauna, when it is switched on for a while, the water drips down through the ceiling. Floor above creaks very much (probably because of those leaks) In terms of space, it is sufficient, but it can certainly be improved especially when it comes to cleaning!

The house was ideal for us. Enough space for everyone. The sauna worked as it should (sometimes the light didn't work, but that wasn't a disaster). It was neat except in the corners and under the furniture. Ideal location for a nice walk to Achouffe, fun through the woods. Houffalize village itself is too far to do on foot (along busy lane). Enough activities in the area. Everything to visit, hikers and mountain bikers are attracting. The house is therefore recommended.

The arrival went smoothly. Lady was quickly present and with some hands and feet great explanation of the house. For us, communication in only French was a small challenge. Very nice spacious accommodation with a lovely terrace. Four spacious bedrooms, with lots of cupboard space. Two bathrooms, but with two negatives. The upstairs bath had leakage into the living room and the well of the shower downstairs was quite clogged. Beautiful ground floor with a large square table, which makes a meal great in bad weather. Nearby are nice places, the La Chouffe brewery and fantastic nature. We were in the Ardennes for cycling and relaxing. With the latter it was a shame that we did not get the sauna to work.

This is a very nice, spacious, fresh and new house. It has a large garden and lots of space around it. It is a very quiet area and street (say 1 car per 15 minutes). The house next door is almost identical and also a holiday home. The area is hilly as in South Limburg but then some army. It is located in a (vast) village where there are no further facilities. The supermarket is around 6 km away. In the immediate vicinity there is not much to do except walking and cycling (nowhere flat!). At a 10 minute drive is a swimming pool in a small holiday park where you can swim for € 4, other tourist things are around 30 - 60 minutes away.

Beautiful holiday home, only the first contact with the lady who had to open the door was a disaster. We had agreed at 6 pm but due to the many flooding problems in Wallonia, my GPS tilted and I was 20 minutes late. The first thing this lady said was that I had to pay €20. This is a great shame. I will never pay for this one. A judge will decide on this, although it will cost me thousands of euros.

The arrival and departure was contactless. You should always keep an eye on your emails. The shower hose in the bathtub was missing, as one should have cooled down there after the sauna without having to walk through the whole house…. We had wonderful weather and didn't need a sauna under the roof anyway. We were very satisfied with the mattresses. However, you should have toilet paper with you. The house is inexpensive, but you should have everything with you. The layout is good, two separate (shower and bathroom) toilets offer comfort. We'd love to come back again.

We stayed with 6 adults and 1 baby. The house is very spacious, has enough parking space for several cars and is located in a beautiful walking area. It is a pity, however, that the water leakage from the bathroom which drips down through the ceiling in the living room (also read in a review from 3 years ago) is still not remedied. When we made this known to the landlord at the end of our stay, he reacted very surprised. As well as the shower in the downstairs bathroom where the water drains badly and this makes the bathroom blank Finally, we found the cleaning fee of 80 euros that we paid at the beginning of our stay in disproportionate to how the house was actually cleaned.Cobwebs on the ceiling above the shower, dust flakes with hair on the floor of the bathroom. this house would be better cleaned and the water problems of both bathrooms repaired, this is a great house.

Our navigation, however, did not know the village as wilogne but as dinez.De owner was on vacation and a friend took the honors. She spoke Dutch and gave a tour of the house. She had cleaned it herself and that was fine. Of course some dust on the cupboards and under the couch but that may not have a name. Plumbing and home were just good clean! Upon arrival appeared 1 of the 2 sunbeds in the garden broken but since we do not use it was not a problem. The house is well kept and modern, nice beds and nice interior r where a swedish department store was pretty reflected. But it was well coordinated and perfectly fine. The vacuum cleaner turned out not to work well, immediately after passing her lady brought her own vacuum cleaner. She did not want them back until after our stay, even though we offered to bring them back earlier. The garden is large and reasonably well cared for. The bushes could be better cared for but that is personal. The beautiful deck is equipped with a quality garden set and parasol. The enorne lawn is wonderful for the little ones (and the big ones). A large shed is very handy, but due to subsidence our roof and rim had collapsed somewhat. This seemed to have happened quite recently and did not affect the accommodation as it was not visible from our terrace. The bathrooms are really well equipped and modern. The bathtub is huge which is nice for tall people. We have had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back here. In the area is really enough to do with roads in luxembourg, germany and the Ardennes itself. Cycling in the area is in our opinion only for the experienced cyclist / cyclist since the main road that is the only one that opens up the village is both steep on steep roads.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival by the French-speaking manager. The house was fantastic clean, spacious and well equipped. Especially the sauna is a delightful luxe.Vanuit to the house there are lovely walks. We are the children went to a sub-tropical swimming pool in Vielsalm and Bastogne.
