What a lovely place just outside Egg. Especially in the morning and in the evening with the view of the valley and surrounding mountains. You have to search a while to find the house because the street numbering is not quite in the right order. But nice house with good facilities. Damüls-Mellau in the neighborhood (about 35 min drive) and a little further on Au / Schoppernau and Warth-Schröcken. All accessible with the same 3 dallenpas.Er still be some costs for wood and electricity on top of the rent.

Typical Austrian house, with the usual wooden interiors and tiled stove. Beautiful views given its location, practically on the mountaintop. A well equipped kitchen and ample sized bedrooms. Powered plumbing and bathroom with shower. State close to other houses, so the garden is rather small. The other houses are mainly used as weekend and it can all sometimes & quotdrukker "around his own residence, but all the neighbors are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended for people who love peace and beautiful nature and scenery.

Warm welcome by hostess. It was the 2nd time we were in Haus Barbara! Great house and beautiful surroundings. Annoyingly we found that on arrival we were informed that on Tuesday 2 July the road that led to the house would be closed. So we could not go to the valley by car or with the elevator on Bruggelekopf down as we were told on arrival, because it turned out to be out of operation. Still a somewhat confined feeling that day, especially since it was our wedding day and we had very different plans for that day.

Haus Barbara is a great (spacious) house, fully equipped, with a fantastic view and a lovely balcony. The reception was very friendly. The last 4 km on the narrow road between the valley and the house remained very exciting until the last holiday.

Everything was exactly as we expected beforehand. Simple, but everything is there. Great views over the mountains and Egg! Snow chains are absolutely not a luxury to get to the cottage. Prima holiday had three small children who were able to crawl around deliciously through the house.

We are having Christmas with my family (3 children: 7,9 and 11) Barbara been home for a week's skiing. What a wonderful vacation we had there! The trip went so fast, we arrived earlier than expected at the place of destination. No problem. The key was waiting at Gasthof Alpenrose (about 500 meters away from the house) and we were straight into the house. The house was cozy decorated for Christmas and the stove was already burning. In short, we came in and felt right at home. It's a really cozy and warm home. Moreover equipped (kitchen and bathroom). Very spacious and well The view is breathtaking and the rest a true oasis. The children could enjoy in and around the home games. Nearby are plenty of ski areas. You can choose Sketteregg, which is about 15 km. This is a small family ski area with one long chairlift and several lifts. With the kids which was fine for us. It was very quiet, so we had all the space and needs to wait for the elevators. But there are plenty of other ski areas in about half an hour away. These resorts are larger and offer more experienced skiers uitdaging.Op about

Very nice and clean accommodation with a wonderful view and foresight! Accommodation is on the mountain, approx. 10 minutes by car from Egg. House is very well equipped, the property manager Christina explains everything necessary. The guest card can be used for the mountain railways and buses and outdoor pools included! Guarantee for a successful family holiday. Egg is ideally located for excursions from here. Everything you need is available in the village. We'd love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Haus Barbara. It takes some control maneuvering to get there, through a narrow crater road through the mountains. But in itself it is also a nice experience. And what a view, great !!! We were very kindly welcomed by the manager who gave us a walk through the house. Even though it is all dated, there is a good atmosphere in the house, which is of all conveniences to provide.

Chalet Barbara is a house with fantastic views! For that you need to view from Egg taken quite climb on a narrow road and in the summer is easier than in winter with snow chains. We have 7 people had a very nice week. We felt right at home in the house. A beautiful house for people who love nature and tranquility. You're not just another moment down for groceries or something but at 500 m Alpenrose inn and there you can really tasty food.

The location of the house is great. Through a 5 km long steep road you jet at the house. Because there was a lot of snow we have several times had the snow chains. It is quiet and is located in a wooded area in a cul-de-sac. Very nice place. The house is large and typically Austrian with lots of wood. All necessities are present and there is a lot of kitchen appliances including dishwasher, oven, blender, microwave. The kitchen has plenty. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds properly. The soapstone stove works easily and provides a warm and gracious hospitality. For us worthwhile and worth repeating. We were 2 adults and 4 adult children. A prime location.

We have been the end of June for a week at Haus Barbara, and enjoyed the beautiful view. R nUnfortunately was a very rainy week, but Barbara reimbursed even several evenings had the large stone hearth, a lot. In this beautiful residence you have enough space for 6 people. We have used this house as a base to enjoy skiing in the area. Please note that in winter conditions the house on top of a mountain can only be reached with winter tires and possibly snow chains. The living room has a wood-burning stove that you have to burn yourself. Someone gets up half an hour earlier and everyone wakes up in a warm room. The view is fantastic and you can walk in the area. Recommended!
