This holiday apartment for a maximum of 8 people is located on the ground floor of a holiday home in Sankt Margarethen / Lungau in Salzburgerland, the valley town of the top ski region Katschberg, and just a few minutes' walk from the slopes and ski school.

The holiday apartment has a cozy living room with a sofa bed, a modern fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, an extra separate shower, an outdoor terrace, garden and a ski storage room. Parking is available directly at the holiday home.

In Sankt Margarethen im Lungau there is in particular the Skischaukel Aineck-Katschberg ski area with 70 kilometers of slopes and 16 lifts. In total, with the neighboring ski areas Grosseck - Speiereck, the Fanningberg family adventure mountain and the Obertauern ski area, a further 250 kilometers of slopes are available throughout the entire area.

Nestled between the local mountain Aineck and the Grainwald, St. Margarethen im Lungau is an ideal starting point for numerous activities in Salzburg's Lungau in summer. There are around 60 mountain lakes in Salzburg's Lungau, such as the Prebersee or the Schlierersee, the Lungau/Katschberg golf club is in the immediate vicinity of the town center and for swimming fun you can enjoy the St. Margarethen bathing pond, the St. Michael outdoor pool or the bathing island available in Tamsweg.

Sankt Margarethen im Lungau is about 30 minutes by car from Millstätter See and 45 minutes from Weissensee. The province is known for its castles, its folklore, the 370 km long cycle path, the "Mur cycle path" and its national parks.

Low-threshold perfect place to ski! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a relaxed garden when it's time to unwind. The hosts are super friendly, making it feel like home. Not far from Mauterndorf Castle, so definitely worth a visit. 10/10 would recommend!

Our stay in the vacation apartment in St. Margarethen was fantastic! The spacious layout was perfect for our family of six, and we loved having the ski slopes just a few steps away. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy for us to prepare meals. After a long day on the slopes, we enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable living room. The outdoor terrace was a nice bonus for enjoying the sun. I highly recommend it for families looking for a ski getaway!

We had a fantastic holiday in Sankt Margarethen im Lungau. The cottage is spacious (we were 5) and is located on the edge of the village. You have a beautiful view of the Speiereck on the other side of the valley. There is also a nice walk to the top. From Sankt Margarethen you can go in different directions to do something, because in the village itself there is not much to do. But there is plenty to do in Mauterndorf, Obertauern, Tamsweg, Katschberg and St Michael, for example. The JohannesWasserfall in Untertauern is also very special. Pay attention if you go further away, because if you want to go south or north via the A10, you always have to go through a toll tunnel (or detour). A small downside is that the terrace in front of the house is in the afternoon sun and there is no parasol.
