This holiday apartment for a maximum of 8 people is located on the ground floor of a holiday home in Sankt Margarethen / Lungau in Salzburgerland, the valley town of the top ski region Katschberg, and just a few minutes' walk from the slopes and ski school.
The holiday apartment has a cozy living room with a sofa bed, a modern fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, an extra separate shower, an outdoor terrace, garden and a ski storage room. Parking is available directly at the holiday home.
In Sankt Margarethen im Lungau there is in particular the Skischaukel Aineck-Katschberg ski area with 70 kilometers of slopes and 16 lifts. In total, with the neighboring ski areas Grosseck - Speiereck, the Fanningberg family adventure mountain and the Obertauern ski area, a further 250 kilometers of slopes are available throughout the entire area.
Nestled between the local mountain Aineck and the Grainwald, St. Margarethen im Lungau is an ideal starting point for numerous activities in Salzburg's Lungau in summer. There are around 60 mountain lakes in Salzburg's Lungau, such as the Prebersee or the Schlierersee, the Lungau/Katschberg golf club is in the immediate vicinity of the town center and for swimming fun you can enjoy the St. Margarethen bathing pond, the St. Michael outdoor pool or the bathing island available in Tamsweg.
Sankt Margarethen im Lungau is about 30 minutes by car from Millstätter See and 45 minutes from Weissensee. The province is known for its castles, its folklore, the 370 km long cycle path, the "Mur cycle path" and its national parks.

Good location. Acceptable furnishings. However, many things are already clearly worn out (e.g., completely sagging chairs at the dining table). Various kitchen utensils are missing (e.g., strainer for draining pasta, toaster, there is only 1 wine glass). Vacuum cleaner without any suction power. Overall, however, recommended due to the top location near the lift.

Good value for money! The bedrooms were cozy and the living room was nice for relaxing after a long day on the slopes.

Great: walking distance from the lift / slope. Nice and especially nice and quiet ski area. Very cozy mountain huts and very hospitable people. Also a layer of fresh snow the 2nd day. Favorable prices.

The apartment is new and modern. Looks really beautiful. Handy also 2 bathrooms and 2 wc 's. Kitchen also has everything you need. Because of the stairs (3 steps) to the front of the complex and the high threshold of the hall to the apartment is not suitable for wheelchairs . The terrace which is made up front is really lovely with beautiful views over green fields.

Had a wonderful family trip! The apartment was spacious enough for us all, We loved the outdoor terrace for evening drinks, Nearby ski lifts were a big plus, and we found some cute local restaurants for dinner
