Well-equipped holiday cottage with swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna approx. 300 m from the beach and town centre of Marielyst. The house is furnished with two separate sections, each with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, providing good space for 2 or 3 families. In addition, there is a cot and high chair in the house. The house was renovated in 2018 with new bathrooms and a scullery, where you will find the washer and dryer. There is a total of 3 bathrooms, all with shower and heated tile floor. There is an energy efficient heat pump. The cosy living room is combined with the kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The living room has a wood-burning stove, stereo with CD and TV. In addition, the house has a sauna and then there is the swimming pool and whirlpool. The pool is 18 m² and the whirlpool has room for 4 people. The house is on a large, enclosed garden plot where there is excellent shelter. Peaceful location yet close to town with stalls, crafts, etc. No letting to youth groups.

The pool was great, as well as the layout of the house and the large property. Also, the proximity to the water and restaurants. Unfortunately, it was also loud at night because the bars and restaurants played music until around 3 am.

We are repeat offenders and had already stayed in this house 3 years earlier. We didn't regret renting this house again. We were there with eight people over Easter. For the 3 children aged 1 1/2 to 6, the highlights were of course the pool, hot tub, trampoline, and the large garden. The adults also made extensive use of the first two. Another plus is the location right in Marilyst. Everything can be reached on foot in no time: the beach, shops, and especially Marilyst Is with really delicious ice cream in huge portions right next door.
Since our last visit, the entire pool area, terrace, and the floor in the living area have been modernized. On the day of our departure, the homeowner stopped by to take the time to make further modernizations. All in all, it was a very nice holiday in a beautiful house that is constantly being invested in.

Great location, large property (great for children to play) and the pool was sensational. However, it generates significant additional costs (electricity). We paid 762 € in additional costs (including final cleaning).

We stayed in this holiday home in May 2018. After hearing that it had been renovated, we booked another week in October 2023 and were not disappointed. It now has a new owner who greeted us very kindly. There are now some great play equipment in the garden, the kitchen has everything you need, and the whole house is very clean (which I had criticized in several other holiday homes here in the past). Due to bad weather, the pool was naturally heavily used (highest score from the children). We will come back in June 2024 and are already looking forward to the new chairs for the dining area and new sofas.
