Holiday cottage with enclosed terrace located on a natural plot approx. 250 m from the ocean. On the spacious plot there are swings and sandbox for the kids. Fireplace for cosy times on warm summer evenings. The house has a pool room with pool of 6.5 x 3 m inviting the whole family to play. There is also a sauna and a whirlpool seating 4 people. The house has plenty of room for 2 families as there are 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms and a mezzanine. The spacious living room invites you to spend many cosy hours. The cooler evenings can be spent in front of the soothing wood-burning stove. Free fire wood during the E-season. The house has a canoe and buried trampoline (usage at own risk/insurance.)

Das Haus war sehr schön aber leider gab es keinen Sonnenschirm sondern nur 2 Schirmständer, Der Geschirrspüler war leider sehr dreckig ,ich denke da war der halbe Grill drinnen,

It was very large and spacious, everyone had enough space. Unfortunately, this house is advertised with a filleting area (angler's house) which is not actually there. The tub for the filleting area is in the bushes and not installed. A chest is also unfortunately not available in the house. Only a refrigerator with three drawers for cooling options.

The outdoor area of the house offers a lot for the children, every child can find something there, it is only a few minutes' walk to the beach. / The house itself is functional, however, it is definitely too small for 12 people, I would say it is suitable for a maximum of 8 people. / The pool area has been in need of a refresh for a while (peeling paint, mold from dampness). / In the sauna area, as shown in the pictures, the fresh air supply should be equipped with the sliding bolt and the lamp should be securely screwed in. The thermostat for the underfloor heating in the bathroom is broken, there are also 2 thermostats in front of the pool area that could have been labeled to indicate where to heat. We consumed almost 750 kw/h of electricity in a week, it could have been significantly lower with a proper sliding bolt in the sauna, as a lot of cold air comes in through the ventilation grille since the sauna door does not lock. These were minor issues that can be easily fixed. It also needs a thorough cleaning, considering that the final cleaning costs 190¬, it felt like nothing was done. The dishes were dirty, there were cobwebs, windows covered in fingerprints, and dirt in the corners. That is very unfortunate, but it was still a nice holiday. In winter, it feels like everything is closed and there is nothing to do except eat out and go for walks. In summer, it would be a really nice holiday. The garden is a cozy place for both young and old.

Pragmatically furnished, a lot of possibilities for children's entertainment, but also for adults (go-kart track, sandbox, volleyball court, basketball court, small football field, boule court, pool, whirlpool), 200 meters to the beach, quiet location.

The pool was great and had a good size, the hot tub was also very inviting. The outdoor area is a dream for children. Volleyball field, goals for soccer, basketball hoops, trampoline, and go-kart track around the house.

Nordborg has little to offer besides a supermarket, trips to Sonderborg are highly recommended. The house has a great outdoor area for children. However, the house in general lacks storage space and the kitchen is mediocre equipped. Much of the dishes and glasses had chipped, sometimes sharp corners. The cleanliness in the house was terrible, sticky surfaces and dirty bathrooms completely tarnished the first holiday joy. Although someone from the cleaning company came, we were told they were only responsible for outside areas. Sticky drawers, dirty dishes, mold in the freezer had to be cleaned by us. Unfortunately, this is not an acceptable condition for the house.

I cannot recommend the house in its current condition until it has been completely renovated. Unfortunately, the house was not very clean. There were still food residues in the kitchen cabinet and microwave. The toilet seat in one bathroom was loose, and the toilet paper holder was very loose and almost falling off. One side of the range hood had a hanging grid and the entire area was disgustingly greasy and dirty. Some mildew had formed on the window in the second bathroom. The lawns were not mowed, and there was a lack of sand in the sandbox. The service office was unfortunately not available in person from Monday at 1 p.m. through Thursday and there was no answer on the phone when called on Monday at 12:30 p.m. They also did not respond to emails.

The indoor pool, the outdoor play equipment: swing, trampoline (sunken into the ground), the track for driving the Bobby Car around the property, traffic-calmed area, beach within walking distance. / One or two minor modernizations (mirror in the hallway and toilet paper holder in the bathroom) would be great, our dishwasher was replaced during our stay without any problems and very quickly.

The holiday home offers plenty of play opportunities for both small and big children, but quite a few things need to be renewed in the pool and bathroom area. In itself a nice house, but with the existing deficiencies, the value for money was unfortunately not suitable for us.
