The location was especially great, front row to the beach, you could go swimming at any time, the beach is sheltered in a bay. The house was beautifully surrounded by trees and wild roses, which smell nice and look great. There was a table with chairs outside and two loungers. Inside the house, the layout was great, there was plenty of storage space and a wooden floor. The couch was large and comfortable. In the entrance area, there was enough space for shoes, jackets, to sit down and take off clothes. Recommendations: The Viking fortress Trelleborg is easily accessible, and by bike, you can even reach Lake Tissö, where there is a large Viking excavation site. You can bike wonderfully, and the grocery store in Gorlev is just a few bike kilometers away. Reersö is a great old village on a nearby peninsula. For a quick ice cream or meal, you can ride your bike in the holiday resort; especially great there: there is a fantastic course with pedal vehicles for slightly older children (5-10).

The location directly behind the first small dune at the beach is great. You can hear the waves crashing on the terrace, and you are sheltered from the wind. The house itself has aged, but that’s exactly why it has its own charm. New windows have been installed, a new sofa is ready, and the small overgrown garden is a paradise for children. Recommendations: Beach walks in both directions are almost mandatory. From there to Roskilde is a beautiful trip, and Roskilde is worth a visit.

The house is in good condition, but it would be desirable if some pieces of furniture, which are partly very worn or broken, could be replaced. In the bathroom, a reasonably sized sink and a shower tray are missing. Having a washing machine is very practical when on vacation with children. The kitchen is well equipped. If you want to sit outside and grill, there are seating options and 2 different grills. The great thing about this house is the location. One basically only needs a few steps to get to the beach. If you sleep at night with the window open, you can wonderfully hear the waves crashing. The sunset was either great to see from the dunes or from the beach. Unfortunately, the condition of the property was absolutely miserable. When we arrived, it had probably been weeks since the lawn was mowed or weeds removed. The sandbox was completely overgrown, and around the terraces, the weeds were almost a meter high. We then decided to take matters into our own hands and ensured that the property looked acceptable at the beginning of our vacation. Certainly, one could have waited for the landlord to take care of it, but with 2 weeks of vacation, waiting a few days is simply too much. Otherwise, one would not have wanted to sit outside or grill. Very unfortunate. We still had a nice time. Recommendations: It is not far to Copenhagen. A trip there is definitely worth it. We had dinner in Slagelse at Skipperkroen. Super delicious food and very nice service. Right next door, you can play mini-golf.
