Description
Log cabin built of round logs with sauna and brick fireplace. The house is situated on a large, beautiful nature ground with tall trees, where you have the possibility to play boules, badminton. The house is situated in a quiet area. Only 350 metres to the child-friendly bathing beach. From the beach you have a view of the "Storebælts" bridge.
The house has a new kitchen, barbecue and garden furniture. The living room is new and you will find an open fireplace and a heat pump /AC floor heating in the bedroom, and in the bathroom. Several places to stay in the 1200m2 large and undisturbed garden. 3 bicycles (+ 4 children's bicycles, 2-14 years) are at your free disposal. 250 m. to the good supermarket. TV (German channels), DVD, CD, free internet (Wi-Fi).

350 meter from a nice beach, ideal for children. A very good supermarket 200 m from the house. Trelleborg viking borg (rebuilt from ruins) about 6 km from the house, Copenhagen (with Tivoli, Christiania and a thousand other attractions) 1-1½ hours drive away (highway - short of 100 km). Legoland in Jutland (over the Store-Belt-bridge, which can be seen from the house) some 3 hours away

Dreamy accommodation with dog
It is truly a dream vacation home where you feel welcome from the very first moment, including dogs! Bright, open living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, small but sufficient bathroom, wonderful outdoor area (several terraces), mostly fenced or overgrown. Very well-maintained garden where my dog felt incredibly comfortable. Great sauna for the evenings. Wonderful landlord! Highly recommended!

Our first vacation. It was wonderful.
We arrived after a long journey in perfect weather and instantly felt at home. The children immediately ran around the large garden property. It is bordered by many bushes and trees and is very quiet.
The holiday house is very rustic and simply cozy. Everything you need is there. Without too much frills. As a welcome, Helli (the landlord) put a very delicious strawberry cake in the fridge for us. It is also worth mentioning the pleasant and always helpful communication with Helli.
The area, and especially the nearby beach, is very beautiful and rarely visited. One has a great view of the sea and the impressive Storebelt Bridge.
On Zealand itself, there is much to discover. Notable mentions include the Viking site Trelleborg, the Labyrinth Park Kalvehave, the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde, and the Røsnæs Lighthouse in Kalundborg. There is still much more. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the area.
The people are friendly and the weather is very pleasant. Lots of sun, wind, and a bit of rain. Never too hot.
All in all, great 2 weeks in beautiful Denmark. Unfortunately too short.
Would love to do it again!

A True Dream
The Metsola left nothing to be desired - we had a great base for our little family along with a dog in an unbeatable location:
- Beaches everywhere, some 5 minutes' walk away
- Idyllic quiet location with a huge garden: we were even visited by a deer! - Affordable shopping options
- The nearby Slagelse is also a lovely town
- Copenhagen is just an hour away and absolutely worth at least one visit
- The Danes are incredibly nice and relaxed
Insider tip: Café & Bar Bonanza in Vemmelev
And as an absolute luxury, the Metsola has a sauna!
We will definitely come back.

Denmark Vacation
Rustically furnished holiday home in a quiet location. A good starting point for beach visits and excursions in stunning natural surroundings. Unfortunately, we had to clean upon our arrival. The cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, was lacking.

Es tut mir leid, wenn es Probleme mit der Sauberkeit besonders in der Küche gab. Meine Putzfrau hat seit 12 Jahren keine Beschwerde wegen der Sauberkeit erhalten und wir werden dafür sorgen, dass es nicht wieder vorkommt. Jedenfalls: Danke schön für den Hinweis.

First holiday in Denmark and directly in love
It was a wonderful 2 weeks on our first holiday in Denmark and we fell in love with the country straight away.
The holiday home is quaint and has everything you need, including air conditioning.
The large property invites you to relax. It is in an absolutely quiet location
The beach is within walking distance. And from there you have a wonderful view of the Storebælt bridge. The beaches are very clean and sparsely frequented
Copenhagen, the cliffs and the Bonbon Land were easy to reach by car on day trips. Visits to the Viking castles, fortresses, museums etc. on Zealand are also very interesting.
Shopping facilities are easy to reach on foot or in the surrounding area by car.
We will definitely come back to Denmark.
