Wir machten auch einen Wanderausflug in die Holsteinische Schweiz, die gleich um die Ecke liegt. Oder mit dem Fahrrad der Küste entlang in beide Richtungen.

"We, a family with 3 kids and a dog, enjoyed a week of vacation in House Strandblick 19. Due to the fact that we were traveling with small children and a dog, we overlooked many small details that others might criticize. We really liked the house; it was clean upon arrival, and we felt comfortable right away. The view was directly onto the water, and we could watch the sunrise and sunset right from the dining table or the balcony. The youngest could watch the ships." Bicycle rental at reasonable prices nearby. The surroundings have been completely renovated, many playgrounds, parking close by. The dog beach in the town of Stein (about 15 minutes on foot) did not appeal to me at all. There is a dog ban everywhere on site, with a fine of €80 for violations. We and many other dog owners were still at the beach with our dogs. Feasible in the off-season, certainly difficult in the high season. The dog beach in Heidkate, on the other hand, is beautiful! However, 15 minutes by car to get there, parking fees, but it's worth it. Edeka is nearby, but very expensive. Other shopping options can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. Wi-Fi in the house. Key handover upon arrival is easy at the house via a key box with a code. Dancenter has a free blacklight mini-golf course in the building and an indoor playground for customers. Everything is new and beautiful! We would definitely come back!
