The balcony has a table for 4 people, so that shared meals on the balcony were possible with the best view of the ship traffic. The binoculars were also used frequently. Bedrooms are rather small. Swimming, café at the crime scene in Stein just around the corner. Small EDEKA in the area. Large EDEKA, DM, and Aldi at the entrance of Laboe (5 km). Restaurants are not available in Wendtorf. Delicious fish can be bought at the harbor. Rolls and cakes at Barsbäcker (don’t be put off by the building . . . ). Bicycle rental on site. The construction activity on site did not disturb or affect us. - Being directly near the harbor is certainly different. In Kiel, Holtenauer Straße was more interesting for shopping and strolling than the pedestrian zone in the city center. We really liked the small town of Lütjenburg. In the garden of the restaurant Pur, we were able to eat wonderfully. In this area, there are also nice Viking meetings outside the town, . . .

The location in the front row at Wendtorfer Strand with a view of the yacht exit. The furnishings are practical, equipped with the essentials. The decor is modern and well usable. Recommendations: Even within walking distance, the active can reach Laboe with its sightseeing attraction submarine and naval memorial. The beach promenade and the beach in front invite for eating and drinking. But also the multitude of mobile fish carts that offer all fish delicacies in rolls. From Laboe, a 1.45-hour Baltic Sea tour can also be taken 3 times a day. About 25 km away, there is an ostrich farm to visit and right behind it a steep coast. But Kiel with its harbor and old town is also a popular destination. A bit further, the island of Fehmarn can also be visited.
