From the perspective of two families with a baby and toddlers: / / At first glance, the house was very nice, especially from the outside, but upon closer inspection, many deficiencies and signs of wear become apparent. / Here is a small list of what we did not like: / / -the (probably from dogs) torn carpet in the entrance area, which definitely needs to be replaced! / -the moldy showers / / -the nightstand shelves -that we as parents of a baby urgently needed to be able to provide bottle warmers, bottles, etc. / / -the rooms and beds were much too small for us, 140cm or max. 160cm / / -on the first day we had water damage, there was an emergency phone number for such cases, but after hundreds of calls, NO ONE answered / / -the water in the toilet ran continuously / However, it must be said that for the last two points we were compensated by not having to pay for water! That was great. / / -a basic equipment was missing quite a bit, at least a dish towel and dish soap would have been sensible / / -the absolute worst for us, however, was the NOISE INSULATION in the house, because the sleeping areas are downstairs and the living area is upstairs, one had to be extremely quiet (which was still very loud downstairs) to avoid waking the children. All in all, it was still nice and we would come back with older children or without children, the place was also super nice, dog beach nearby, restaurants etc. are probably opening soon. And what is worth mentioning is that the staff at the Dan Center was really very, very friendly!

We had a fantastic stay at the holiday home in Wendtorf! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a true retreat. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, like the observation terrace. The kids loved the space to play, and we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. Definitely a place we would love to return to!

Vacuum cleaners need to be replaced, the showers are leaking, the property and location are very good. The house is very sparsely equipped for up to 8 people, which is not sufficient.

We had a nice week in the house, but there are a few minor issues that should be addressed: mattresses very soft, a classic coffee machine should already be there, lighting on the upper floor partially defective/not livable, shower on the upper floor drips, sewage smell in the bathroom on the upper floor. The furnishings are fine, the location is good. The houses are not really detached, the plots are quite small. The view of the Kiel Fjord is through other houses, but it is enough to observe the shipping traffic. In the off-season, one could stay there comfortably, as not all accommodations were occupied. The energy costs for a week were quite high.
