Everything, nature, the tranquility, the furnishings of the house. It was like coming home, I felt comfortable immediately. Recommendations: Just go for it, a dreamlike environment. And everything well signposted. Perfect for a fishing holiday, the most beautiful fjords reachable in 1 to 2 hours.

The very nice landlord couple who speak German. / It is a very cozy and beautiful old house that is newly and attractively furnished. Absolutely comfortable! Recommendations: The tourist information in Lyngdal is recommended. The ladies there speak German and are supported by media points and flyers for planning activities. / The little town of Farsund is very nice. A trip to the waterfall near Skelia is worthwhile, and a trip to / Hausvik (for history / remains of an old bunker complex) can be very well combined with fishing from the pier in the fjord lake. We had a lot of success.

Seclusion, tranquility, good amenities (dishwasher is included, not mentioned in the description by DanCenter). / There is no point in the survey where I can write what I didn't like, so I will do that here: The cabin was not handed over clean, oven dirty and splattered, kitchen overall appeared used and not cleaned, bathroom as well (there were still clear traces of a large business in the toilet bowl!!). All the mattresses are old, sagging, and covered with stains. No idea why such things can't be kept in order and at a good level with the rental prices... A lot of dust, you can just tell that it was only superficially and quickly wiped down. We have already been in several cabins in Denmark and Norway - seems to be a similar "standard" everywhere. If one were to offer a vacation property in such a condition in Germany, there would immediately be angry calls and complaints (rightly so!). . .

The house has an individual touch. Everything is very well-kept and pretty. The double bed is comfortable to sleep in (surprisingly large for Norwegian holiday home standards). The view of the lake is wonderful. The outdoor area for sitting is also appealing, if the weather cooperates. There is even a large trampoline. We found a dishwasher that was not listed in the description. That was helpful.
