8 person holiday home in Rødby-By Traum

A bit older but okay, unfortunately only one sun lounger available in the description for 8 people - we couldn't understand that as there are only 6 sleeping places. Equipment is okay, location very nice and quiet with birds chirping, not far from the beach. The description states that there is a children's swing, which is not true. Recommendations: The Dodekaliten in the late afternoon was an absolute highlight. We had the best meal in Maribo at Cafe vin og Brod.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Location and Facilities Recommendations: Lalandia, Knuthenborg Safari Park, Medieval Center, Dodekalitten, Femern Construction Site

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The very quiet and nature-close location was perfect for us to relax. The room layout was very appealing, and the available electrical appliances were also very good. There was a sufficient number of dishes available. The beds were also very comfortable. Recommendations: There is much to discover, such as the very nice town of Nysted, Maribo. There are few restaurants, but some are very good, like the Cafe Vin og Brod in Maribo. Unfortunately, the bakery is very far away, but without a car, there are no great options anyway. However, it is advisable to take the bicycles along, as you can cycle wonderfully on the dike and then eat very well at the Strandgarden restaurant in Kramnitze.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The big refrigerator / The big terrace Recommendations: Lalandia

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Cleanliness / Condition / Property / Geothermal energy / Location and environment / Shopping options / Gastronomy / Experiences / Recommendations for Denmark: Nakskov and Maribo for shopping / Daily needs at Rema 1000 or LedKøb / Definitely visit the post boat in Nakskov and the ice cream parlor in Nakskov, fishermen in Langø, Peter Hansen's garden, stone figures, old village in Maribo, Lalandia, island of Møn, etc. Just inform yourself online! / Food is recommended in every restaurant, whether large or small. The prices, like in Germany but with far better quality.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The spatial layout is good. The inventory is great and you have everything you need. Recommendations: Lolland is a quiet island for relaxing. But you can find something to experience in just a few minutes by car in any direction. / And if you don’t want to drive, you can enjoy the short walk to the beach.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Size, amenities, location directly by the sea, tranquility, brightness, and layout of the rooms Recommendations: Maribo (vin&brod), Copenhagen, Nysted

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

It has a beautiful, open kitchen and living area. The one bathroom is very large with a whirlpool and sauna - a real wellness oasis. It is not far from the beach and has a large garden. Recommendations: The playground at the beach front was enjoyed by our children.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

One really has to take everything with them, as neither spices, dish soap, etc. are left by predecessors. Cleanliness upon arrival was okay, but one cannot imagine that when paying 155 € for the final cleaning.

The house and the property were okay, and the furnishings were impeccable. The only point of criticism was that there was no German television program, no drying rack, and also no sunshade available.

A bit older but okay, unfortunately only one sun lounger available in the description for 8 people - we couldn't verify that as there are only 6 sleeping places. Equipment is okay, location very nice and quiet with birds chirping, not far from the beach. The description states that there is a children's swing, which is not true.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Beautiful location, a lot of visits from rabbits, hunting pheasants, and deer, many songbirds, and the sea practically at the door. The house itself is nice, but unfortunately, it seems that no real deep cleaning has been done for a long time. We were also not really happy with the cooking utensils. Additionally, the washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher were found uncleaned. There is no description of how the technical devices work, no cleaning agents, and the vacuum cleaner had to be cleaned first, filter change! The windows were smeared upon our arrival, the kitchen window could not be opened, and there was an outdated sticker "Damage reported" on it.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The house is spacious and very well laid out. Even in October, with temperatures below 10 degrees, it was only comfortably heated by the single stove. The kitchen is good and practical, and the whole house is in pretty good condition. I can recommend the house without hesitation. The only thing we didn't find so nice was that no infusion is possible in the sauna (the stove apparently is not designed for that). The location is close to the sea, but the beach itself is rather unspectacular and had a very strong and unpleasant smell during our time. We also found the whole area rather dreary and lacking in greater attractions (when compared to the North Sea coast, for example).

Our stay in the holiday apartment was quite pleasant. The holiday house is well laid out and offers plenty of space for our group of eight people. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed for cooking, and we enjoyed a few meals outside on the terrace. Even though we didn't use the hot tub or sauna often, it was nice to have those options. The location is quite quiet, which we appreciated, although it is a bit of a drive to nearby dining options like Ristorante Il Bambino. Overall, a solid choice for a relaxing vacation.
