Our stay in the holiday home was enjoyable, but it was more about the location than luxury, The cottage was clean and functional, with everything we needed for our fishing trip, The nearby fishing spots were great, and it was nice to have a dedicated space to clean our catches, We also made use of the BBQ grill one evening, which was a nice touch, It was easy to reach Tromsø for dining options, although we mostly cooked at home, All in all, a practical choice for a family vacation, though not overly fancy,

The cabin is ideal for two people and very cozily furnished. However, we need the second "bedroom" for our luggage (including ski bag). The bathroom is quite small, but it's manageable. A big advantage is the proximity to Tromsø (about 25 minutes by car, many options in bad weather), the nearby cross-country skiing area (3 km), and the many activity options on Kvaløya or Senja (ferry). The beautiful view over the fjord, from inside or from the wooden terrace, is also one of the highlights. In winter and/or in darkness, the path to the cabin with luggage at the end (wooden stairs) can become a bit tricky, but everything is manageable.
