This cozy holiday home in Skaven Strand was exactly what we needed for a relaxing short vacation. The covered terrace was perfect for morning coffee, and the garden was large enough for the kids to play ball. The open kitchen made cooking easy, and we loved the cozy atmosphere in the living room.

Big house, lots of space so you don't have to keep standing on each other's feet, the bedrooms were big enough, the children had plenty of space to play in the room, the bathroom was great, the underfloor heating warmed us up on one or two cooler mornings, a second (or separate) toilet would be ideal for a group of 6 people, / The furnishings are generally decent to very good, the kitchen was lacking in almost everything, the second, very large fridge with a large freezer compartment in the adjoining room on the terrace was great, especially for a group of 6 people, the modern TV in the living room was great, which allowed Netflix, Disney and Co. to be transferred from the tablet to the TV via Chromecast, we didn't miss the DVD player at all, which was not there contrary to the description, / There was plenty of space for the children outside There is a lot on offer with a trampoline, swing, sandpit, climbing trees and a large lawn. As there are no playgrounds in the immediate vicinity, the offer was used very extensively. Sand and outdoor toys are also available. There is also a cupboard with games in the house, but we did not use them because we had our own with us. / / General suggestion for improvement: 1-2 more cupboards in the large living room to better store/accommodate/stow things that have been brought along.

Very comfortable stay overall, the beds were cozy and the place was spotless when we arrived, a bit far from Esbjerg Airport, but worth it for the peaceful atmosphere, would recommend for a family vacation!

The location was perfect for our family vacation. Although it was remote, we were still close to Tarm for public transport and food. The outdoor playground was a hit with the kids! We will definitely consider a return.

A great place for families! We had a wonderful time playing in the garden with our children and taking advantage of the outdoor grilling facilities. The location is quiet yet close to local dining options; Skavenhus was a delightful place for a meal!
