Immediately upon arrival on July 22, 2023, the electricity meter on the back of the house was read.
The neglected condition of the property was already noticeable.
The house has definitely not been maintained over the years. Paint is missing here and there, the aluminum frames of the windows lay loose on the ground. The outdoor area urgently needs maintenance! The parasol lay on the ground and was completely soaked from the rain.
The smell inside is simply original Gartenlaube 1995. So fresh air in!
The disgusting shower curtain was then discovered and removed. Wasn't really cleaned here!
The fittings and the shower wall were dirty (lime stains), the vanity and the floor tiles have never seen a steam cleaner. In addition, the water in the shower does not drain properly. Here the drain seems to be already well clogged with hair and sand.
The fuse box, which is located directly on the children's loft bed, shines with a missing cover. Luckily we are still traveling without children.
Are you possibly traveling with children and looking forward to the playground at the house (from the images from the Belvilla booking portal)? Sorry it doesn't exist (anymore)!
The furniture (lamps, heaters, etc.) had accumulated a decent layer of dust.
Speaking of dust, the vacuum cleaner was completely abused. The bag was inserted twisted and the filter completely sealed with hair. After emptying and exchanging the bag, it worked again. How did you vacuum here before?
The kettle in the kitchen is completely dirty and calcified. So not usable!
It also remains questionable how this accommodation can be rented for 4 adults when there is only one double bedroom. No adult will fit in the children's bunk bed!
Conclusion: For the peak season rental price of 1100 EUR / week we would not rent this property a second time.
