I had a wonderful stay in this seaside holiday home. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling. The garden was beautiful and well-maintained, making it a great place to unwind with a book.

"The furniture is somewhat dated but was fine. The described sea view was not really present because there are houses and trees standing there. The whirlpool was not usable because after filling the tub halfway, only cold water came out. The cleaning beforehand was good in that there was really no dust and only very few cobwebs to be found, but we found black and white (dog) hairs everywhere... even in the shower shelf and even on plates." I hope that not just a single cloth was used for cleaning. Therefore, we first had to vacuum or wipe the mattresses and couch. Otherwise, it was really very quiet there; we were also the only residents in the settlement. There was plenty of dishware available, two pots were very dirty, and there was residue in the filter container of the coffee machine. Generally, everything was there and usable. However, 100 euros for electricity for a week is also not exactly little. Okay, two times sauna and baked rolls every day. Only two rooms heated, the others had the doors closed. The beach is very stony, you have to like it. Store and pizzeria about 5km away, otherwise there’s nothing there. German channels only 1, 2, NDR, and RTL... so nothing for TV junkies. We won't come again, but it has nothing to do with the house, that was nice. But the area was too boring for us, hiking trails were scarce, and when there were any, they were mostly on paved paths/roads or along the stony beach, which eventually became annoying. We are very spoiled by Texel, but wanted to try something different, and going further up was too much for a week. Conclusion: The house was fine, but the area is not suitable for us for more than one visit. PS: For the described but missing sea view and the unusable whirlpool, we received about 33 euros refunded thanks to my "complaint." Recommendations: We really enjoyed Kegnæs, a tour from the lighthouse along the beach and back above. The second tour was from Kegnæs Church to Kegnæsende and back overland. Unfortunately, there was a lot along (very little trafficked) road. But very beautiful. In the north, around a few lakes, also often roads and through the forest by a lighthouse with a lot of paths over the stony beach and back gravel paths... were nice but nothing that I wouldn't also have at home aside from the sea. And whether one can highlight a moat of a non-existent ruin and dolmens (a small grave mound as a highlight) I don't know! There was really nothing worth seeing in the area except for the landscape. For city people definitely great, for children surely boring and the eternally long stone beaches certainly exhausting and annoying.

Well suited for a vacation for two. It would have been too cramped for 8 people. Unfortunately, the floor was too slippery for our dogs. The beach is within a few minutes' walk but not particularly nice. Better to drive a few minutes to the nicer beach. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is rather functional. On the terrace, you sit dry and sheltered from the wind. Wonderful! We would come back without dogs.
