Furthermore, there is a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. On the large plot you can play football for goals, barbecues and sunbathing. If you are into fishing, there is a cleaning area and freezer of at least 60 liters, and there are approximately 1,500 meters to the coast, where you can swim and fish. The cottage has been modernized in 2020, so you come to a well-kept house, where there is underfloor heating on the ground floor and in the bathroom. During booking, we contacted you via chat and asked whether we would have the entire house at our disposal or part of it. Your colleague said we had the whole house. Upon arrival it turned out that the larger part is closed and is being renovated when there are no guests. The part we are in has a poor layout and is not on the garden side but on the street side.
Another thing is that the electricity that has to be paid here is something like 30 kWh per day, at 0.48 euros because the owner here has a jacuzzi in the garden that must stay warm (we did not ask for it) and a heat pump that runs on electricity. They don't have solar panels here, so you pay around 15 euros per day, and that's quite a lot. I don't make a fuss about an extra 2.50 euros per day, but I think this is ridiculous. We don't even come close to achieving this consumption at home. and then we have air conditioning on in the summer.
There was poor communication with you about the key transfer. I received an email from Dancenter, the intermediary here on the island that you rent from again. They send me an email with the text: key: in key box. Address details address of the holiday home. If you arrive after office hours: key box at home. But no code included. Dancenter was not available upon arrival and after repeatedly calling you (the connection was always disconnected😡), I was put on hold for 25 minutes. After calling back, it turned out that I had been transferred to Dancenter who was not available, I had already answered the phone. said. Not clear.
After 45 minutes I received some telephone numbers from the owner, and when I called him I received the code for the key box at home.
The next day I visited Dancenter in the next village 13 km away and they said that they had an envelope ready with the key that I should have picked up there. The key in the key box at home was not intended for us. If only you had said that beforehand
