The duplex house TASSOS 1-2 is on one property together with the holiday houses ELEONORA and TASSOS 3 in the south of Messenia, a few kilometres north of Koroni, in the quiet district Aghia Triada. TASSOS 1-2 is located in a beautiful and friendly setting between cypresses, vines and dense olive groves, on a wonderful high plateau above the sea and the extensive sandy beach. The duplex TASSOS 1 -2 is in the front row (approx. 10m away from the holiday house ELEONORA) and offers a magnificent sea view.
The functionally furnished semi-detached house has been partly refurbished in 2012. The bedroom and the bath are adjoining to the spacious living room with kitchenette. You have direct access to a roofed entrance terrace at the back of the house and there is also a small pergola covered garden at the side of the house. From the living room and bedroom you can directly get to a large roofed terrace with a beautiful view across the vines, olive groves and the beautiful landscape of the coast line and the sea up to the opposite coast of Mani.
The fine sandy beach Aghia Triada is one of the most romantic beaches of the region and is perfect for unforgettable holiday moments. In close distance of approx. 650m via serpentines there is a path and some steps (approx.. 100m) that lead to this magnificent beach and the turquoise blue sea.
The close-by picturesque village Koroni with its port scenery, taverns and cafés make a nice change from the quiet and secluded location of the holiday houses AGGELIKI. Especially charming are also the towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messenia. There are also many untouched beaches on the coastline between Koroni and Pylos.

Casa molto carina con i proprietari veramente gentili. Dalla terrazza c’è una bellissima vista con il mare e le montagne del Mani. La posizione è molto silenziosa e la spiaggia a 2 minuti di auto.

Small house for true Greece fans. Very quiet location in the vineyard with a brilliant view over the whole bay. Simple but sufficient furnishings. Breakfast spot under the vine leaves. Nice owners who spoil you with figs and grapes.

Accommodation easy to reach (directions okay), well and quietly located, accommodation: simple but functional, you have everything you actually need; kitchen relatively sparsely equipped, but you also have everything you need here. Very friendly landlords (we received wine, eggs, etc.), the daughter understands and speaks good English. We were there in April for 4 weeks: it was still quite cool and the apartment had to be heated - at least in the mornings and evenings with the air conditioning. Warm/hot water is available when the sun has heated it enough - so: mostly shower in the evening. We had a dog that could romp and play outside unsupervised in front of the doors. We would definitely vacation there again.

Those seeking tranquility in a rural setting with a sea view are in the right place! Tassos and his wife Christina (or daughter Eleonora) are very warm and helpful hosts. We were two people and did not expect so much space - the cottage is spacious with a large double bed in the bedroom, additionally there is a larger balcony and (especially nice) a spot under the vine arbor, where one can enjoy a wonderful breakfast. The view from the balcony over the vines to the sea and the opposite Mani is really beautiful (especially in the evening). The small complex is well-maintained, and the wine from Tassos grows all around. The kitchen utensils are rather sparse as usual, but there are the taverns of the surrounding villages for that. :-) A bit surprising was the lack of a Wi-Fi/internet connection - but it is supposed to come next year. A car is absolutely necessary - especially if you are not very good on foot (it goes steeply downhill towards the sea). With the proximity to Koroni and the charming little town of Charokopio (tip: the quaint corner pub at the small Platia), it is an ideal location to explore the area. The hinterland of Messinia is also very attractive! We enjoyed it very much and the week went by far too quickly.
