Description
At the southern Cape of Messenia, a medieval castle picturesquely juts out into the sea like a pointed triangle, nestling in the narrow streets with the pretty houses of Koroni. On either side of the town are two of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Southwest of the charming village center, the fine Zaga and Memi sandy beaches stretch along the coast.
To the west of the village of Koroni, idyllic and with a wide view of the Messinian Bay and the sea, lies the small village of Assini. At the edge of the village in idyllic surroundings and with a beautiful sea view up to the opposite peninsula Mani and the Taygetos, stands the detached house with two apartments. The German speaking landlady lives on the first floor. The attic apartment Assini View is rented. On the shared property, at a distance of approx. 30 metres, there is another house, Assini Spitaki that is brokered by us.
A beautiful natural, terraced, yet well-kept property, overgrown with Mediterranean plants and vineyards, surrounds the vacation home.
The luxuriously furnished vacation apartment is furnished and decorated with special attention to detail. Bright, friendly colors, comfortable, modern furniture and selected, fresh accents determine the furnishing. Large panoramic windows give the vacation apartment plenty of light and offer spectacular views of the beautiful landscape and the sea from all corners. The generously proportioned living/sleeping room with pitched roof (1.20 - 2.40m room height) is skilfully architecturally staged. The open living/bedroom is adjoined by the open kitchen corner. The shower in the room, separated by glass, gives the apartment a modern extravagance. The sleeping area is adjoined on one side by the closed bathroom and on the other side by the dressing room.
The fireplace provides cosy hours in the colder seasons and the floor heating makes a stay pleasant even in winter.
From the apartment you have a direct exit to the beautiful, partly covered terrace with a fantastic view of the sea and the charming surrounding landscape of Messinia. The vacation apartment Assini View is particularly suitable for couples or parents with a child from 12 years of age, who want to spend their vacations in a cultivated atmosphere, close to the sea.
Down by the sea, on the partly managed beaches of Zaga and Memi, life is pulsating in high summer. In the other seasons it is more contemplative.
If you want to be part of the city life during your vacation, if you don't want to travel long distances for your daily errands and still want to live in a quiet, natural environment, then this apartment is the perfect location for you. The nearby picturesque town of Koroni, with its beautiful harbor, taverns, cafés, stores, ATM machines and bars, offers a nice change to the quiet surroundings of this vacation home.
The towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messenia are also very charming. In the coastal area between Koroni and Pylos there are still many untouched, fine sandy beaches.
The apartment is rented all year round.

Efi was a very friendly and helpful landlord for us. The apartment was very clean and modernly equipped. From the terrace, there is a fantastic view. The most beautiful beaches in the area can be reached in a few minutes by car.

Very nice apartment with a great rooftop terrace and everything you need. Very comfortable large bed, TV with German channels. The landlady Efi is very nice and helpful. She also has good tips for excursions and local places.

The apartment is a blast! A lot of love has gone into the construction and the furnishings, which are really great and leave no wishes unfulfilled; everything feels brand new. The private fully covered terrace with a fantastic view completes the positive overall impression.

Where do we start, where do we end? 100 points for the house, the apartment, the view, and 99 points for the peace (the dogs in the neighborhood can be heard from time to time). 100 points for the furnishings (small details, but that's complaining at a very high level). Efi, the owner, gets 500 points!!! She equipped the apartment with the thought of living there herself! This is unique so far! And we have traveled a lot. A leisurely walk invites you to the picturesque village (distance approx. 1.2 km). The beaches are a few kilometers away, but the location also encourages exploration in the south (radius approx. 50 km).
